Set within the stunning Fenwick Food Hall, Fuego is a Mediterranean-inspired wine bar and restaurant. Here you can enjoy a light snack or full meal from a menu ranging from Mediterranean tapas and dishes to Fuego’s signature offering, Napoli style hand-stretched pizzas.
The name ‘Fuego’ was inspired by the feature wood stone oven, from which many of the restaurant’s dishes are delivered. As well as being influenced by this striking focal point the menu also draws inspiration from the Food Hall’s inherent focus on charcuterie, cheese and delicatessen.

Guests can expect to find an extensive drinks menu that includes a choice of 20 wines by the glass thanks to a state of the art wine preservation system, specialist craft beers from European artisan producers and chic aperitifs such as an Aperol Spritz or a Hugo.

Service was excellent our server (sorry don’t know the girls name from Germany) was outstanding. Food was beautifully cooked and all the flavours were so fresh . The desserts were to die for and we all agreed Malaga ice cream with sherry soaked raisins was a show stopper . Thanks Fuego team fab experience for lunch.

We visit Newcastle every year to meet friends and this has become our go to lunch time eating place. The food is so delicious, excellent quality ingredients, very interesting and scrumptious flavours. Wish we lived closer as we would be there every week!

We use Fuego frequently. We prefer to sit at the bar, but this can’t be booked on-line. Staff always do their best to accommodate us as they did on Saturday.

Chairs could be more comfier, very hard. Food has definitely risen in price since I last visited, for example you used to get two pork skewers for £4.50 and you now pay £6 for one!! Prosecco was nice but you can certainly pay for a bottle cheaper elsewhere. However the ambiance is really nice, despite there being a dog in the food hall? Very confused about that for health and hygiene reasons.

I went for dinner for the first time at Fuego, following rave reviews from my friend. It certainly didn't disappoint, we had the vegetable shared platter, crab frittata and patatas bravas. All of which were served promptly and with kind and friendly service. The food was made with quality ingredients, and the best tapas I've had in the UK. I'd certainly go again, and would highly recommend!

Enjoyed a relaxing and relaxed lunch of wine, cheese and tapas here on Sunday afternoon. I'd recommend reserving a table. All of the staff we dealt with were polite, efficient and attentive. The food and drink were excellent. Will definitely be returning.

We went there for last much with my mother in law. Great menu if you enjoy tapas style food. She wanted to order the artisan bread as she had tried it before and enjoyed it so much. Our server was friendly and upbeat.
