We had dinner for a party of 6, the atmosphere was very welcoming and our waiter Alex made us comfortable from the start. The food was excellent. We will be returning soon.
The staff was very freindly and attentive. The food was delicous!
The food was average, but the service was outstanding. It is a lively environment, so expect to talk a little louder. Great job Gabi staff!!
Great service & delicious food. Will definitely go again!
Love the vibe of this place! Came for breakfast/brunch, but def want to try dinner and drinks sometime. The waiter, I think Michael, was really great... attentive, personable and friendly. Eggs Benedict and French Toast were great!
Excellent food, but the service was a bit unpolished. Hopefully, th waitress will (we assumes he was new) will learn with time.
Entrees came out cold and second time the same. They bought dessert.
Love this spot - great food - great service and a fun spot to dinner
Great team, great food and great ambience! Philadelpia top eats!
Very impressed with first visit! Appealing art deco ambience, great waiters, excellent food! We had escargot, duck pate, a burger, scallops, pit du creme, and apple vol e vont. Also two curated cocktails each. Love ved everything! It was quiet but 5 pm on a Monday, so could be louder on a different night. Nice vibe to you he room. French rap music mildly annoying, but I guess the 'yutes' like it!
Nice local restaurant with a good take on Bistro French. Good size portions and reasonable prices.
Excellent all across! Our server Alex was fantastic and super nice. We got the French onion soup, escargot, duck breast and the steak frites. For dessert some delicious apple puff and caramel pudding. Rich decadent delicious!
Overall we had a great time, loved the vibe in the restaurant as well. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to philly.
Great food. Beautiful ambiance. Limited menu but still very good.
The frites dishes we ordered were excellent. The steak was cooked to order and seasoned well. The chicken was simply delicious.
Great combination of excellent, sophisticated food and service in a well designed deco environment.
Great food and outstanding service
Great spot, excellent service, friendly waitstaff. Food was outstanding drinks were great. We stopped here on our way to a concert at the Met. The staff was quite attentive and make sure my food and drinks came out expeditiously to have plenty of time to walk down to the concert venue. I’ll be back.
Delicious food and excellent, friendly, attentive service.
Good French food. Excellent escargot, chicken and duck. We will go back.
Solid bistro experience with a casual atmosphere and a focused menu. Main courses took an hour and a half to come out of the kitchen, but apparently there was a large party ahead of us. Still, the food was great and the service professional.
Server was superb. The toast for the Pate' Foie Gras was over toasted and too crumbly, it fell apart. Everything else was perfect.
Flawless execution of classic French bistro fare. Delicious. Service was exuberant and efficient. Wine program is disappointing, considering the high quality of the food.
Food is marvelous but be prepared for a very leisurely (slow) dining experience
Try a little of everything!!!
Food, drinks, and service were great.
Dinner was excellent, our server Chris was exceptional!
This is my second time at Gabi and the food and service is excellent and happy to have Gabi in my neighborhood!❤️
Couldn't go to Paris, so went here instead for our anniversary. First time dining at Gabi. It was quiet for a Tues. weeknight - only a handful of tables. Mike our Waiter greeted us quickly and gave us specials; we wanted a bottle of wine to celebrate and couldn't decide on Chardonnay or Sauvignon blanc, so he quickly brought over a taste of both. Glad he did- Chardonnay was hands down! We shared country pate and escargots which were both wonderful! Hubby had a half roast chicken which he enjoyed but I had scallops which were a bit rubbery - probably overcooked. Plates were served very quickly - much faster than most places where the wait seems interminable these days. And server was friendly. All in all a very good meal though. Would definitely try again.
Wonderful atmosphere and service, tasty and affordable happy hour cocktails, and delicious food. Please support Gabi--it was nearly completely empty, indoor and outdoor.
food was delicious.
service was excellent, recommendations spot on.
portion size was described perfectly
happy hour drinks were priced fairly
parking easy[next store, [but$$]
outdoor area was nicely done, great for late brunch or quick drink even this late in the season
The drinks and food were excellent! The staff was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations
Gabi was great. The restaurant is still recovering from the COVID Slow-down, so it was not crowded at all. Service was good and servers were attentive. Food was outstanding. We had the roasted chicken and the hanger steak which were both fabulous. Enjoyed being away from the craziness of Chestnut Street dining area.
Gabi is worth a visit.
Pate for an appetizer, bistrot steak w/ pommes frite, chicken paillard... All really really delicious!! Definitely going back!
The service was excellent, and the food was very good and moderately priced. Happy hour drinks were a great deal.
Not many people, it was like having a private dining room.
Server Alex was great, and manager Chris was very good.
The food was very good.
This was a second visit to Gabi, and we continue to believe that it is a restaurant that services wonderful French themed food with very pleasant staff. All of us had the escargot which were great. Two of us had the duck, one the trout and one the steak. For dessert two had the apple tart and two the sorbet. Everyone enjoyed their dinner immensely.
We enjoyed our meal very much. Both the duck breast and the scallops were each nicely presented and very good.
Great food and service at a reasonable price. Decent wine moderately priced. Really a neat decor.
Glad you liked the whiskey and sour patch kids! Thanks for letting us be your last cover for Restaurant Week.
Food was ice-cold, service atrocious and apathetic. Go to Parc.
