We decided to head out on a blustery evening. We were the only customers there for most of our meal. The service was great and the crew didn’t seem upset by the lack of customers or bothered by us stopping in. Our server made great recommendations and was very attentive to our son who is 2. The food was good, the portions were decent. I really enjoyed the rice balls and our little guy insisted on his left over spaghetti for breakfast the next morning, so he was obviously a fan. Overall it was an easy, serene night out.
We had reservations for 7pm and we were seated promptly, the ambiance was nice. The food was pretty good and the service was also , their was a few hiccups but nothing to serious.
Food was great but service was mediocre at best. Seems like there were not enough servers for all the tables but food was on point.
This was our first visit to Galliano and the four of us had a great dinner. Out server was Regina. She was patient with us as we considered appetizers, drinks and entrees. Eventually three of us ordered cocktails. They were excellent; the pineapple-tini was a great drink. My wife ordered a Cosmo and it was a somewhat bitter. The pear and prosecco our daughter-in-law ordered was superb. With all of us ordering entrees we decide to split the 12 oz meatball. It is really beautifully garnished with ricotta cheese. This appetizer was enjoyed by each of us. The entrees we ordered were good. I liked the shrimp scampi I ordered. The pasta was a little bland and that seemed to be consistent for each of us. Two of us enjoyed an eggplant parmigiana and chicken parmigiana; both with penne. My one complaint: one of the busboys was a little rough cleaning the table. Trying to pick up everything he could, he smeared the outside of the bag containing the food we were taking home. We couldn't finish it all. We will be back. Note: the restaurant might benefit having a curtain at the front entrance to break the cold air coming into the restaurant at the entrance. Great first visit though!
I am a bit disappointed with Galliano’s service last night. I had reservations at 7:30. My girls & I got there at 7:22. The hostess told us that our table wasn’t ready and it may be a while. Ok, no big deal because I figured we’ll just hang out at the bar until our table is ready. We sat at the lounge area. Our bartender Chris came and assisted us with drinks. We waited and waited for the hostess to come and give us an update on our table but to no avail. Chris was exceptional at his service. We eventually ate at the Lounge area which wasn’t our first preference at all. My sister & I were celebrating our birthdays with three other friends, one is pregnant, so those lounge seats with the low table were not the most comfortable for her. I will suggest better customer service from the hostess next time. I will give 5 stars to Chris. He was definitely awesome!
Showed up on time for a 6:45 reservation and they weren't ready to see us until about 7: 20. That was a rough start with a couple of hungry kids. The food was very good but not necessarily a good value based on their prices and compared to other cheaper Italian restaurants in town with just as good food. I guess you're partly paying for the bustling atmosphere which may be what some people are looking for. The noise level ended up being too much for my son and he had to get out of there.
We started off with the Signature Meatball which was very good and then we moved on to Eggplant Parm & Gnocchi Al Forno. My Nonna set a very high bar for gnocchi... but it was good. The server, Regina, was also very good and gave us a heads-up while we were waiting for our entrees that the kitchen was running behind. We will go back!!!
Really wanted to love this restaurant, but the cocktails weren’t great at all. Also, the food was a solid B, but we expected more for the price. I will say that the Arinchini was great. Overall, a B- for this place.
Generally, love this place. Food and service New Years eve was not up to standard. The manager was responsive when we brought it to her attention. Will give them 1 more try, maybe not on a Holiday.
Went for New Years. Food and service was outstanding!
Great food and atmosphere! Loved our server Terence! Phenomenal service!
Everything on the plate had an enormous amount of salt making it almost inedible. Service was good.
Luca was our server and he was phenomenal!
Birthday dinner food was excellent
Great ambiance service was friendly no complaints
Caroline was such a wonderful server! My friends and I had a fantastic meal. I wish we could hear a little better (very loud). Looking forward to our next meal there.
Attentive waitstaff. Food was well prepared and quality was superb.
Galliano's continues to impress regulars and first-timers. We often bring visitors here and to a person they very much enjoy it!
It was extremely loud in the restaurant, making it hard to hear other people talk. The food was good but the portions were on the smaller side, especially given the high prices. They seemed confused and unable to find our reservation initially. They sat us about 5-10 minutes later and put our party of four right near the door which could be very chilly at times. It took quite a while for our entrees to come out. The wait staff was very friendly and the decor aesthetically pleasing. However, that’s not enough to make us want to return.
As always, excellent food and service! I got the branzino, which was light but delicious. Hubs got the linguine and clam sauce - very tasty! For dessert, the cannoli can’t be beat!
The day before I made my reservation online requesting a table, not a booth. My reason being myself and party are elderly. When I arrived they put us in a booth and stated no tables are available. We managed to sit a the but is was uncomfortable. We found the experience disappointing
Would highly recommend! It was intimate dining. Service was wonderful. Food was excellent.
Newish restaurant at this location. We've had excellent meals here - things were a bit off on this visit, but we attribute to growing pains.
The food was great and the service was attentive and friendly. We will come again.
Great service, great food, served in a lovely setting. Will visit again.
Everything was perfect! Great food and great service. We will definitely go back again.
Ambiance is great and everyone who greeted us was super friendly. All the food and cocktails were delicious and Destiny was the best server ever!
Food was excellent, service extremely slow.
Great! Food was delish!
Very slow service, which is the norm!
Great live music!
Service was excellent with Destiny. Would recommend! In fact we made reservations for three days later.
Everything was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The server was very attentive and friendly. The food was good. We will definitely be back.
The food was not to great this visit. Maybe there was a new chef.
This is an excellent restaurant ... the service was first class, the cocktails perfectly made, and the food was well prepared, well presented and delicious. Myonly regret is that none of us had room for dessert ...
Galliano's was a great experience. The atmosphere was awesome. The food was good and the drinks were better! It was a little chilly, but we arrived when it was just opening. Were are definitely going back.
The food and service were good, but the noise level was above what I had hoped for a romantic anniversary dinner. Our server Raphael was attentive and friendly. I had the lasagna which was excellent and the crème Brule. The roasted brussel sprouts appetizer had a lovely flavor, and the bread they brought out was fabulous with the oily sauce. I could have just eaten that! Wine selection was abundant. All in all a nice, pricey meal, but not for a romantic evening out. We went on a Thursday and the place was packed and noisy, we could hardly hear our waiter speak.
Server was unattentive, and she didn't respond appropriately to a simple request to replace a side vegetable.
