We had an excellent Afternoon Tea on Sunday. The weather was very hot and we couldn't bare to have a cup of tea but the waitress kindly agreed to swap it with some fruit juice. The food was Devine and the service was impeccable.

Staff friendly and informative. Menu is variable to satisfy most tastes. If you are staying at the hotel and want a relatively good meal then I would not hesitate to recommend.

I visited the Garden View for an afternoon tea with friends. Although the re-invented presentation for the afternoon tea was very appealing, some of the contents were not so good as others. The scones were amazing and the clotted cream was to die for, however the sandwiches were too plain and not really tasty. The chocolate and coffee cake and the fruit tart were really light and amazingly presented, whereas the mini-muffin and macaroon were not great. Overall good value for money at 24 GBP for 2 and would recommend.

Had dinner here whilst we were on a short break and it was our best meal by far. My sirloin steak was one of the best I have tasted. My wife had the lamb shank which was also excellent. It was served by very friendly and keen to please staff making for a lovely night out. We will certainly return on our next visit to Jersey.

We visited this restaurant for our 50th wedding anniversary, at the end of the meal we were presented with a plate decorated with chocolate and a congratulatory inscription ,it made our day very special. the staff were courteous and attentive.

Dined here for lunch with my wife and sat outside on the terrace which is a real suntrap. We both had the Sirloin steaks with chips, tomatoes and mushrooms. The steaks were cooked exactly as we requested and the chunky chips were fantastic. The service was excellent as the staff were attentive but not over attentive and made sure that you had anything you required.
