The glass-fronted restaurant offering diners sensational sea views and a brand new dining experience in Dumfries and Galloway is the latest addition to Laggan, the rural destination of excellence near Gatehouse of Fleet. Gather will provide visitors and locals with delicious bistro style meals.

Gather will be open Wednesday - Sunday from 9am. Last food orders being at 8.30pm.
Closed Monday and Tuesday, breakfast for residents only.

    We have been before and once again we were not disappointed. The service was excellent with friendly helpful and smiley staff. The food was wonderful and the ambience is brilliant. Not to be missed

    Good location with great views. Smart interior and friendly cheerful staff. Food was good value and decent quality. Would definitely come again.

    Every time we come to stop at Mossyard we like to go to Gather, at least once during our stay this time it was twice. We really like the food and think it is reasonably priced all Staff lovely and very helpful. It seems to be a very popular place and gets busy, so don’t leave your booking till the last minute otherwise you’ll be disappointed and won’t get a table.

    The Chicken Parmigiana was dry and chewy and the menu selection wasn’t as good as earlier this year when we last visited. It was expensive but we enjoyed the desserts and coffee. The view is stunning and it is a lovely restaurant, despite being very busy we didn’t have to wait for long and will be back in the future as we love the scenery.

    Good meal at reasonable price and as usual very generous portions. Greatly improved by having a simplified menu and a good choice of “specials”. Perfect example of Less is More.

    Great experience. Food was very good. A few flies buzzing about when eating because doors were open to let air in. Other than that, everything was good.

    Beautiful setting with stunning view, the restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed the food. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, in particular Massimo, who made our trip very special for my mum, thank you

    A very underwhelming menu - food choice requiring no skill to prepare. More like typical pub grub - burgers / gammon / fried chicken / scampi. Nice view and beautiful setting Shame about the food choice.

    Absolutely beautiful place! The host was warm, welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the salmon and the kafta and would recommend both. The fennel bread was so wonderful. The sticky toffee pudding was the highlight of the meal 11/10! We hope to return some day!
