Gaucho - Birmingham Ratings and Reviews
Fantastic restaurant friendly staff although bit pricey you get what you pay for which for me and my partner was the venue and staff as well as the beautiful food we had.I have been twice now and will definitely be going again for a special occasion I highly recommend this restaurant and dress to impress is a must.
Me and my other half absolutely loved it, first time visiting here as it was our valentines date as both working on the day. The food is absolutely beautiful and the staff are really friendly and know what they're talking about. Will definitely visit again.
Impeccable service, from bar staff, waitresses, and floor manager. All very friendly and polite but never encroaching. Extremely attentive to detail and helpful when approached. All were also knowledgeable when advising on food and drink. Beautiful decor and interior design which creates a sophisticated atmosphere without being pompous. The food itself is wonderful, serving arguably the best steaks I’ve tried. Great wine list to accompany the mains as well as an excellent variety of cocktails. Clean toilets well looked after whilst keeping with the theme of the restaurant. Overall, certainly makes for a lovely dining experience, and for the price, well worth it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We ate at Gauchos for a friends 60th celebration who is a steak lover. The food was outstanding as was the service. The waiter was attentive and funny without being overbearing and made a understated fuss of my friend for her 60th. The surprise and beautifully presented ‘birthday’ dessert plate was fabulous.
When leaving a member of staff who gave us our coats remembered we were there for my friends birthday, asked how everything was and seemed to genuinely want honest feedback which many restaurants shy away from when face to face.
I wanted the meal to be special for my friend and it was exactly that and more.
Amazing venue - the staff were attentive and very helpful. The food was outstanding, our steaks were cooked to perfection. The staff made a point of mentioning my partner's birthday, and when we ordered dessert it was brought out with a candle and a happy birthday message, which added to the experience. The atmosphere was perfect and the décor is beautiful. Myself and my partner had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and will definitely be returning.
I discovered Gaucho's first at their Leeds branch and I was so impressed that I made a point of visiting the Birmingham one. The experience was very similar at both - the ambience, food and service were all excellent. It is obviously very much a meat place so I guess vegetarians would not think a lot of it but for those who like their beef it is hard to beat. Also a great list of Argentinian wines very different to any I have ever seen. Not cheap, but definitely worth the money.
Food was amazing as usual, the steaks were perfectly cooked and the thin chips are crispy just the way I like it. Our waiter Mario was second to none, he was polite and made sure we was satisfied. My wife booked this for my birthday and it truly made the evening. Thanks
This restaurant was amazing, the staff here were very friendly and very helpful. It was a busy night when we attended but that didn’t slow down the service or how the staff treated us. Definitely recommend to family and friends and all will look forward to returning
