Great food, service was excellent and the waiter we had went above and beyond.
This is clearly a hipster type place....very noisy marks it hard for conversations and hearing staff. It's also to dark in places to read the menu, had to use the torch on the phone even the waitress appreciated the light. The food was ok, value for money , I'd give a low rating and the wine is extortionate....I'm not a wine conasuerr but some of the bottles are not worth £50/60
Food was not good, been to gaucho previously and the food was 10x better
Food good service very good but...surprised you allow jeans (even saw jeans with holes) and trainers even at lunch. Thought it was a premium restaurant but not so sure. Most people dressed for the occasion, lots not and that was disappointing. As it was my daughters 18th thought the desert was wa a nice touch, how about a glass of Prosecco?
Delicious but bloody expensive!
Really enjoyed the experience Steak & wine were incredible
It was my partners birthday & they bought out a special dessert for him which was unexpected but a lovely touch
Would love to return
Great evening. Special thank you to all the staff in particular Rosa, Georgia and Luca.
Our evening at Gaucho’s was fantastic. The hostesses and servers were on top of their game; they could not have been better.
Excellent service and even better food. If you’re looking for a proper steak, this is the place to eat
This was my first visit to Gaucho in Birmingham and it was lovely. The service was very professional and staff were really friendly. We even had a happy birthday plate and candle which was a lovely touch
It’s a bit too cold and dark in there is the only thing! The service and food were are unmatched incredible steak worth every penny.
Went here 3 years ago and loved it but this time was awful it was like a weatherspoons pub it was that loud. It was our anniversary requested a nice table and it was a rubbish table! Only asked if we wanted a drink once during the night and I was so thirsty and sat with an empty glass.. WTH, not even a nice happy anniversary plate message like most restaurants! So disappointed wished we went to tattu 😓
Fantastic food and service and i was pleasantly surprised at the cost. We will definitely return.
Came for a treat as it was my late mothers birthday and our first one without her. The food was ok but nothing out the ordinary considering the cost and the chips were just about warm. Asked for condiments and the waitress forgot, had ate most of our dinner before anything was bought. Ridiculously priced for what it is I wouldn’t be returning for that reason alone and the fact iv had nicer meals elsewhere for a fraction of the price. I think they need to sharpen their service skills to be charging what they charge. Went to the bham branch and found it very gloomy and pretentious. I wouldn’t recommend going unless money is no object and its a special occasion.
First time here and we were extremely pleased with service, quality of food and wine. They also serve non alcoholic beer which is a bonus as my partner doesn’t drink alcohol!
The decor is very subtle and relaxing and the restrooms were immaculate.
I would say 100% go here, we are booking to go back in a few weeks and looking forward to a fillet steak.
Feedback to all the staff you are exceptional - thank you all x
Love this place, am used to going to the London Gaucho, so was delighted when it opened in Birmingham.
Food, atmosphere and service was fantastic.
They had run out of a couple of things which was a shame, however, it never made a difference to our enjoyment.
The chateaubriand was perfection!
Pleased to see they serve a Sunday lunch, will try that next time.
Great dining experience, food was really nice, worth the money. Staff were very friendly & welcoming, ambience & decor was calming and relaxing will definately visit again
Lobster had no flavour and steak was extremely chewy, none of us could finish it! Not worth the money
Rib eye is to die for. Took my wife there for our 10 year anniversary and have also eaten here before.
Love this place.
Didn’t get offered the lunch set menu as advertised. Ended up costing an awful lot more money than expected. Also not mention of my sisters birthday despite a note on the special request. Although the food was lovely, the overall experience was dampened
We had a lovely lunch. Really attentive and professional staff and the food was first class. Can’t wait to visit again!
Nice food, wine on the expensive side especially the fizz..
Would have been nice to add a small garnish to a steak meal to make it look more appealing.
Fantastic food and brilliant service by an Italian waiter named Niko.
It was my first time at gaucho and our waitress was lovely and very helpful, however I felt the food let u down! Steak and peppercorn sauce was tasty and the chips were soggy!
Food is amazing, staff were lovely everything was perfect
Great service and food! The stuff wer really polite and gave useful menu recommendations
Really lovely attentive staff whole made us feel welcome, and followed good COVID guidelines. They even bought out a small dessert for me on the house for my birthday which was a lovely touch. Probably the best steak I've ever eaten, would highly reccommend. It was our first meal inside a restaurant since restrictions were lifted, so thank you for a great evening!
The food, service and ambience were excellent but not value for money. Tiny side portions for £5 and seriously overpriced wine didn't inspire us to return, despite the quality of the steak and food in general. Perhaps they are trying to make up for lost business but, in the process they have probably lost our business. Chateaubriand at Miller & Carter as good as the Gaucho offering, but half the price.
A very good steak and a nice bottle of red - but pricey!
Food was really nice, cooked to perfection. Service was spot on, very friendly. Restaurant was very busy as you can imagine. Would recommend.
Amazing food and service, would definitely recommend
Absolutely delicious! One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time.
fantastic food, every dish was lovely. great service as well!
The only thing needs to be kept clean are the toilets
Unfortunately meal spoilt by very cold air from air conditioner.
Left early as it was just to cold to bear.
Steak was the best I’ve ever tasted! We had a great evening with great food, service and drinks! Definitely be visiting again!
Gaucho is my favourite restaurant and each time we go, we are never disappointed. The food is phenomenal and service is fantastic. We took our children for the first time and they enjoyed it immensely. Thank you Gaucho for a lovely evening.
Our first visit and it did not disappoint, attentive staff, great food and wine
Well we were seated at a table for six waiter took our order no issues
Starters started to come out when I mentioned to the manager our drinks hadn't come, I watched the manager pour these and they were on him which was nice but not right.
The starters were lovely we had two portions of bread with this which was free last time. Heard it is not free anymore because it is fresh!!
I was earwigging so wasn't 100% sure
Well we was having a lovely chat eating away as we look over seeing our mains coming.
My response was are you trying to rush us no room on the table and we were eating away.
One waiter said have you not finished like can you not see!!
Found the food good the service poor and a little bit of arrogance maybe that was just me.
I came to the restaurant two years ago and the waiter was great constantly making sure the food and attention to detail was perfect
I am afraid this visit did not leave up to my last visit.
There is a lot of competition and sometimes the service spoils the meal
Amazing place great food and drink, would highly recommend to anyone
