Very nice but a bit pricey.. Would definitely go back.
The steaks were over cooked - some slightly and my wife's Filet significantly and my daughters sirloin.
My daughter ordered her steak rare - and it was medium.
The best steak around! Quite pricey but worth it. Long stem broccoli was also amazing.
Lovely ambience! Food was delicious. Service was friendly. Overall amazing experience
We celebrated my son’s 19th birthday, he’s a bit of a steak expert, and favours fillet! The steak was tasty, moist and presented well. Our food order also, included rib-eye and rump. Opinion was the rump was full of flavour and trumped the other steaks. Save room for the desserts, and a coffee. Also, if your having wine stick to a Argentine bottle.
What more can I add other than;
the staff were very attentive,
the welcome very friendly, and
the wine (Malbec) was excellent.
Gaucho exceeded our expectations. The ambiance was gorgeous. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Their recommendations were great. Highly recommend
We were there for our anniversary and my husbands birthday and they helped us celebrate in style, a free drink each and lovely messages on our desserts.
Everything was so delicious and well presented - we had scallops to start, steak and sides as main, and cheesecake to finish, plus two cocktails each. Couldn’t fault a thing, and the service was fantastic. The waitress explained the different cuts and advised us so well too. Still buzzing from our visit 🤩
Was very impressed at the look of the restaurant food was out of this world love the experience of being treated like royalty fantastic time will definitely be returning
It was my friends stag do. Although pricey was a beautiful place and meal
great food and restuarant. However the service was very slow, we had to ask for the waitress a few times and waited too long between drinks, ordering, and paying
You do get what you pay for. Although it's a bit expensive the steak is the best I have ever had in the uk. The server was friendly but a little overworked and a Friday night is going to be full and loud. A great dining experience I would be tempted for appearances add a little something to the steak plate. The meat looks s but lost lonely and unloved just presented on an empty plate
The ambiance is great and chilled atmosphere.
The food was slightly oil for my liking.
My Salad not good and my chicken not good, and we ordered red wine take long time
You get what you pay for
I wanted good food, good service and wanted to be surrounded by decent people.
That all happened.
Simply the best place to eat steak in the UK and one of the nicest restaurants to go too.
A great experience thank you to all the team at gaucho x
Visited Gaucho Birmingham for a birthday meal and had an amazing time. The decor creates a perfect mood and the food is absolutely unreal. The service was good and included the waitress bringing the different types of steak out so we could see before we chose. Would definitely revisit
We were celebrating a friends birthday and was not acknowledged even though I didn’t notify on the booking. For that reason that didn’t make it feel like much of a celebration. The food on the other hand was outstanding as always!
Good but not the usual standard, very busy , very noisy just not as good as it has been in the past
Fantastic service and fantastic food. can't fault it! Would definitely recommend
Amazing food, stunning interior and outstanding service.
Food and cocktails outstanding, could not fault anything. Staff very attentive and friendly. Tables aren’t seated too close so an element of privacy is maintained. Beautiful decor. Highly recommended
i order a 500g sirloin steak, wait for an hour and the steak was over cook, £39 for 500g was too expensive, my wife order a lomo steak 200g, also over cook and i guest only 100g for the steak, the size exactly like a 10/20 scallop.
Belated birthday meal
Bad foods without taste, bad chips and worst steaks ever
Great food, atmosphere and location
Fantastic food , Service and a very stylish Restaurant .
This was the first time we had eaten at Gaucho and we will definitely dine here again and also recommend.
Excellent service from a very nice Italian waiter who explain all the different cuts of steak and sides etc
he also recommended a lovely good value argentinian wine which was superb
Super designed very swish and modern restaurant comfortable and all day dining so just great all round
Had a lovely bithday meal here with family. Food, service, ambience and the high quality of the interior made for a fantastic day.
Staff were lovely and friendly waitress was lovely and extremely helpful would definitely go again
Really enjoyed the food was delicious steak just melted in your mouth. I personally wasn’t overtly keen on the choice of deserts and starters but that was personal choice. Our waiter nico was very good was very helpful and attentive.
Very lovely time! Food was very nice & waitor was very polite
What a difference a few months makes. After my first visit here I left a little underwhelmed. No such feelings this time though. Buzzy atmosphere for a mid week night. I dined alone and the service was excellent and attentive. Good empanada starter. Main event was of course steak and it was excellent. Perfectly cooked, juicy and flavourful. Good crisp fries and delicious mushroom side. Two glasses of excellent Malbec complimented the whole thing. However, and it does drop my rating slightly, 30 quid for 2 glasses of wine is a bit steep. But that was my choice. Overall very good, I will definitely go back.
Very nice inner design and delicious meat, but too noisy in the evening. Overall, very good.
