We were seated & immediately told (despite not being told when paying reservation deposit) that we had 90 minutes, not 120, despite paying for premium... far too noisy & service was awful. Waitress was nice, but waited 45 minutes for a one course & had to keep flagging for management’s attention. With only one dessert on the menu you’d think they wouldn’t run out... they did. The food was nice, when it eventually came, however. The drinks were also nice & worth paying the extra for the sparkling Argentinian wine.

One guest cut her finger on the toilet door which had a screw hanging out. Frankly wasn’t worth the money & will not be coming back!

My friends and I visited Gaucho Piccadilly late last year and we had a much better experience. Unfortunately Gaucho City were extremely slow in bringing over drinks. We had to wait 20 minutes after finishing a drink before another one made it to the table. We had similar issues with the serving of the food. The entire table had two dishes served in the space of an hour. The restaurant was busy and there were a lot of big groups of all guys or all girls which were very loud and constantly shouting and drawing attention to themselves. We were told by the manager that the delay was due to the new menu and that we would have extended time but the drinks still came out slowly even after we complained so we ended up leaving the restaurant. I’m hindsight we shouldn’t have paid the service charge given the standard of service we received. I won’t be returning that’s for sure.

Brilliant brunch and well worth the money drinks wise and for atmosphere. Food wasn’t overly brilliant but you can order as much as you like so still works out great value. Waitress was brilliant and very attentive. DJ and music was great, although we was sat right next to the DJ so a little hard to hear each other talk sometimes. Overall brilliant lunch and would definitely come again. More suited for groups of people x

Quick service. Food good, not excellent but v good. Drinks brought continually. 1 female toilet is not acceptable and desperately needs to be sorted

First time I’ve come here for brunch and was a bit caught out by how fancy it all was! Me and my friends felt a tad underdressed but that was our fault for not researching beforehand. Everyone was dressed like they were out for a night, it was quite bizarre to think it was only lunchtime! The restaurant is in the basement so the lack of windows certainly makes you lose track of the time too. The service was excellent, the bar is full of prepared cocktail glasses to ensure that they are made and brought to you quicky after ordering which works very well. Water refills were also free flowing without having to ask which was nice. I must have had approximately 7 cocktails in the two hour brunch. The atmosphere was very good and the decor is up-market, it did however get very loud as it got busier, probably because the music is fairly loud already. I would definitely go back here though and have already recommended it to friends.
