   Steak was excellent as expected, however sides were not to our liking. Service was fair and indifferent. Decor was to the usual standard, however noise level was excessive. We felt this may have been due to lack of soft furnishings. Overall rating reflects our experience at the Glasgow restaurant, however we would dine there again hopefully see evidence our feedback had been taken on-board.

   This has got to be the best place in Glasgow for steak. You really don’t mind paying for quality. The chateaubriand is delicious cooked perfectly literally melts in your mouth Drinks are great my favourite champagne, cocktails and more. We couldn’t manage a desert after the meal but it was my other half’s birthday and the staff brought over a lovely chocolate truffle bite for him. Our server I’m sure it was Olivia was lovely really pleasant and such a lovely girl, Ryan again doing what he does best looking after us. Looking forward to our next visit

   Seating was a bit tight, felt as though we were in the other tables company. Awkward to get out of the sofas as kept having to ask the other table to move. Food and drink and the exceptionally energetic, knowledgeable waiter (Sam) was all on point.

   This place was absolutely outstanding, we loved everything about it. The bottomless Sunday lunch was fantastic, as were the staff, venue and live music, will definitely be back.

   This was our first time visiting Gaucho. First impressions of the venue itself were good. It seemed like a fairly mid twenty’s to thirty’s clientele mostly. At first glance of the menu I was a bit overwhelmed by the price of the food on offer. Our server for the night greeted us and took our drinks order at £11 or so for a cocktail I decided just to have the one. We were informed that some of the cheaper starters had sold out so the only ones available started at £13 upwards to around £20 so we went straight in for the steaks. My partners steak was close to £50 which he really enjoyed . Mines was a more moderate sized portion. A portion of spinach came in at £6. overall with a single desert and a few beers our total bill with including service charge was over £161 so a bit pricey for an average dinner for two. On visiting the toilets before we left the ladies cubicle had no toilet roll which does not go down well so I decided to try the disabled toilet. Personally I don’t think I would rush back.

    Slightly disappointed that a number of items were missing/ not available from starters, drinks to sides. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Will be going back.

    The restaurant was very nice inside, however I think the music was a bit loud for trying to have a conversation. I don’t mind loud music but slightly quieter would’ve been beneficial. The food was excellent, I really couldn’t fault any of it however the service let this meal down unfortunately. We spent a fair amount of time waiting on our first drinks arriving which I had to chase the waitress for. The food arrived promptly but we had asked for more water for the table which never arrived. I would revisit for the food and hopefully the service improves a bit.

    Apart from an initial drinks order mistake which was then not deducted from the final bill, the overall experience was very enjoyable. Service was good overall and the food was served hot and promptly. I would return to this restaurant.

    Service was superb. The food was just astonishingly overpriced for what it was and how is tasted and how much there was of it. It was not a fine dining level of food to send out such tiny portions and it was not close to the level of quality to charge £50 for a steak etc. really disappointed as we had been looking forward to trying it. The food was just not cooked to the level we hoped.

    Good food but overpriced. Excellent wine list. Service was good but when the bill came they had added an extra bottle of wine for £72. Quickly rectified but not inpressed it had to be in the first place

    The food was outstanding and service equally excellent! There was a good atmosphere in the restaurant however we found it very cramped and quite noisy - my partner was back to back with the table behind us and couldn’t move his chair out without interrupting them. The food and drinks are on the more expensive side, however the food is worth it in my opinion. I think the drinks are overpriced - particularly the cocktails. They are enjoyable but some are so tiny and not sufficient to go alongside a meal in my opinion. Still really enjoyable and would recommend!
