   Lovely venue with friendly and attentive staff. Food and ambience excellent. I was feeling cold (in the conservatory) and the manageress kindly turned the air con down! However, we felt the prices were a bit inflated especially for drinks.

   Food very good. One small quibble: the cheese board mix of cheeses did not provide sufficient variety although the quality of each cheese was very good. And the olives provided seemed to be out of a tin. I would have expected fresh olives

   Really lovely place to dine. Food fresh and delicious and the garden setting is really nice especially on a warm night. The whole restaurant looks great no matter where you are seated. Highly recommend

   The refurb and extension of Gee's has created some splendid new spaces to eat. We had a fine lunch, well and promptly served, in a very agreeable outside environment.

    Lovely ambience and good new improvements. But, the service was incredibly slow, if pleasant and the food was overpriced and really not great. Both my dishes were swimming in oil, including the risotto which was my main course. There is no longer a set lunch. Sadly I won't be rushing to go back. Quod is a better bet. Interestingly no mention is made of Raymond Blanc and Quat Saisons having been resident in Gees and creating a restaurant there prior to it being part of the Mogford Empire on the menu. That is carefully left out.

    Always a great time at Gees, we had the lamb cutlets and fish of the day, all presented beautifully and a pleasure to eat. The price was a little high but it was also good value.

    Generous, melt-in-the-mouth roast beef Sunday lunch and nice house red wine at reasonable prices. Great ambience, nicely air conditioned, super friendly and attentive waiter. Most enjoyable.

    First time back since the refurbishment, lovely atmosphere, the new outside area is a fabulous addition, works so well . As always the service was so good. A Saturday very well spent .

    Really great service -all of the staff in fun, decorative shirts - delicious food- we had the tapas to share, the cheeseburgers, the trout, the chocolate nemesis and the orange posset and all were uniformly excellent, as was the bread. We would thoroughly recommend for any groups like ours or parents and young adult children

    We had a very pleasant lunch in the new outside courtyard - tastefully furnished with yellow chairs and blue tables. Excellent helpful service from a charming waitress. We both chose the vegan option, sweet potato with chickpeas - lovely flavours but we both thought it could have been improved with some crunch eg deep fried chickpeas - it was all the same texture. I will go again and I would recommend. It isn’t cheap but I thought the price was fair.

    Very pleasant, sat in the Secret Garden for a most agreeable lunch with two friends in a relaxed atmosphere, where the staff are attentive and professional. The pizzerias have delightful, light dough bases and the watermelon and feta salad went down a treat.

    I went with some friends for a birthdays lunch. It was a lovely place: lovely food. We had a great time! When we were ready to go, they even gave us a surprise birthday ice cream (with a candle) that was so lovely and unexpected. Thank you! It made my day ❤️

    Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Gees. The staff were attentive and very helpful. My only issue was that the seafood tagliatelle which I was looking forward to, arrived with chilli through it. There was no mention of chilli on the menu, had I known I would not have ordered this dish. Why is chilli added to so many dishes these days, not everyone likes it. Our waitress quickly got me a menu so I was able to re order another dish. My replacement dish did arrive fairly swiftly too. This would not have happened had I known about the chilli. Otherwise a brilliant ambiance and a lovely evening in Gee’s.

    Gorgeous place. The best restaurant service I've experienced, blonde female server was so attentive and helpful. Food and cocktails were delicious with generous portion sizes.

    Superb friendly service in a beautiful setting. Delicious sea trout, seafood linguine and orange posset. Sharing platter for starter was underwhelming but otherwise food was delicious. Great knowledge of wines and superb Espresso Martinis! We will be back
