Sadly beef too chewy to eat, and pork rather fatty. Also pestered by lots of wasps! Service very good though.

We'd visited The George Inn before and again was very impressed with the service and standard of the food. Its a very friendly welcoming pub with plenty of room. My only gripe would be the price of the food. On this particular evening it was full price, so looking at £18 for a burger and fries. It was very nice but I felt quite dear for what it was. They do however have deals that they run on particular days, so find out before booking.

Recommended to us and on our first visit we received a very warm welcome, service was excellent, food delicious and good value for money. A lovely country pub well worth a visit, and we look forward to returning soon.

Great meal which was booked last minute for a large group. Roast dinner is a must to try. A few more veg with it would have topped it off perfectly. Good service and lovely atmosphere.

Have been here a few times unfortunately on this occasion food was not great maybe chef was off. Chicken was dry, burgers seemed more like a cheap frozen ones. Shame as previously meals were really nice. Staff are friendly and the conservatory is nice.

We love this pub as it’s so friendly and welcoming. Traditional setting and food with a mix of modern cuisine thrown in for good measure. The staff are attentive and caring and it’s great value for money.

Thought we’d try fish Friday and we were not disappointed.Meal was delicious and plentiful,great value for money at two for twenty,highly recommend.
