We love this restaurant and come regularly - we are happy to pay for the comfort, space and excellent staff/service. I know 'steakhouse' implies meat, but it is unfortunate that there are so few options for those in a group who don't want to (or can't) eat meat. Having at least one another vegan option would make this the perfect place. I don't mean just vegetables masquerading as a main dish - I mean proper filling high-protein vegan options (including a decent filling portion of pulses, tofu or tempeh). These could even reflect the 'steakhouse' name if that was a factor (eg : a spicy/sauced cauliflower steak on mashed beans with a herb/seed garnish - and there are millions of other options!) Even just adding a good portion of puréed bean as a side would make it easier for non-meat-eaters to find protein on the menu.

Food was just okay. The service was great but didn’t make up for the lack luster food.

It’s a beautiful setting and the food was good but the wines were outrageously priced. Staff was outstanding.

I had a martini and was charged £16 for the vodka plus £7 for the “cocktail mix” (olives??) I also ordered a bottle of wine, and besides the original glass had to pour all the rest of my wine as the waiter did not return. Food was good but I walked away with a somewhat disappointed experience.
