I’m so excited to announce the third restaurant in partnership with hotel giant Melia, is Gino D’Acampo Old Hall Street.

It’s a beautiful modern open plan restaurant with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Old Hall Street. Talking of skylines, you have to visit Sky Bar 360 on the top floor, it’s a huge contemporary terrace which has unrivalled views over Liverpool and the River Mersey, I can’t wait for you to see it.

Serving real Italian food as it should be, the menu really does have something for everyone. Check out my new lounge bar as well, it serves one of the biggest selections of Prosecco, sparkling wine and Franciacorta in the UK, with over 30 varieties for you to choose from. Pop by for a drink after work or enjoy one or two while you dine, the choice is yours.

    Sadly not as good as the last time we visited in September. There were not enough staff on, so the service was poor. The starter was tasteless, pasta was dry and stodgy and had a bone in which was half the size of my little finger! Gutted as we usually stay in the Innside when we visit our son at University. This will sadly influence us on our next visit.

    The food was bland and undercooked tried to get the attention of the waiting staff but they were not responding as to interested in a large table of young men we left most of our food we were asked if we enjoyed our food and said no we were told we should have told them I said we tried but to no avail the response was oh no apologies at all

    The roast lunch was just amazing, everything was delicious, potatoes and vegetables were perfect, roast beef was the best I've had in a long time. My friend had roast chicken which was perfect as well. I was there last week with my daughter and grandsons, I had chicken, it was cooked perfectly. The gravy is to die for. My second visit for Open table roast, with 3 friends this time, they raved about it. Which is always good especially when it's your recommendation. Will definitely go again, I wouldn't bother cooking for what it costs!! Definitely 5 🌟

    I was surprised how big the place was and thought it could be loud and echo'ish but was actually OK. Food was lovely, especially the polpette. The arabiatta was tasty but could do with a bit more chilli. Lasagne was very good too and quite cheesy.

    Brilliant food and great service as always, me and my friend had a lovely time and will be returning again soon the starter of calamari was delicious and the main of grilled chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce was fantastic.     We got sat in a window which was lovely. The wine recommendations by our server were perfect. The food was delivered quite fast and we were checked on to make sure it was all good Thank you to our server, unfortunatley i didnt get her name, but we had a great time for my birthday.

    Trendy environment and nice welcome but took a long time to take our orders. Were ignored at the bar for ten minutes before they took the order too. Waitress pleasant but needs to refrain from calling her guests ‘my lovelies’. Food hot and nicely presented and tastie but thought the dishes were a little expensive compared to similar venues. Overall quite pleasant but wouldn’t rush to return as better value and service elsewhere.

    the mains came within 2 minutes of having the bread box and my linguini was slightly hard. But everything was really tasty, and no issues at all with my partner’s food.

    Food was very tasty but it could have been hotter. Strange roast beef, seemed more like thinly cut and cooked steak. But lovely and flavoursome all the same. Vegetables were all luke warm and a bit soggy. Desserts were wonderful.

    The ambiance was great, a busy restaurant with not enough staff. Our server was lovely and very attentive but she was clearly under pressure. Other team members kept forgetting to order drinks. The food wasn’t very good I’m sad to say.

    Went for a romantic evening meal, lighting nice, service at times a little slower than what I would have expected but staff friendly. Food was tasty and uncomplicated, choice was good. Separate menu for vegetarians which I liked. Only criticism would be the cheesecake was more like a mousse consistency.

    Our niece and nephew were thrilled when we said we'd treat them, here. The nephew was even happier when he saw that they did Sunday roasts; he said the roast beef was fabulous. The roast chicken was also great, as was the Caesar salad. My veal was disappointingly bland. Staff were superb. It's a shame that the two men at the next table insisted in playing loud video clips to one another, on their mobiles. I think a creche for adult infants might be a good idea...................

    We went up to the sky bar for cocktails for my daughters 19th birthday celebration all good,however a delay sitting down for food and a delay with the delivery of both starters and mains which pushed the time back considerably which was disappointing I was told it was due to a lack of staff I did expect better than this considering the cost overall

    Our food had been left you long under the heated lamps at the pass hefore coming to the table. The food was dry although edible. Nice wine but all drinks were too expensive.

    Pleased they had a gluten free menu but what’s the point when a large proportion of it is unavailable. One meal was sent back because it was greasy. And while the waitress was lovely, every course and every drinks order took too long to arrive and twice we had to remind them about our drinks. Very disappointing experience.

    The food was delicious! Staff were so friendly and very helpful. We went up to the sky bar after our food for a drink. Amazing views. Would most definitely come again.

    Absolutely awful, food was terrible £39 for a steak that was extremely fatty. Waited 25 minutes for a drink. The portions terrible service awful, and this price ridiculous for the quality will never return and am extremely disappointed

    Visited daughter at university and to celebrate my birthday and although we love Gino’s and dine in as often as we can, this time I got annoyed. I didn’t appreciate being questioned where I was from by first waitress we had, whilst ordering the food. Luckily 2nd waitress was lovely but this first one spoiled my mood as I didn’t come to the restaurant to be cut half way through my sentence and questioned about my origin! On positive note food was very tasty and plenty. We have another table booked in March so hoping to avoid tactless individual!
