This is our second visit. The food is consistently great. This time I had the chicken Vesuvio and it was exceptional!!!! The portion was large and I brought half of it home for the next day. It also came with a salad ( or pasta). My husband had a delicious and plentiful salad.
Very nice dinner with friends
Had a reservation for 6:30. We were first 6:30 reservation there but they sat others who kept pushing the host. They were sat first at tables that would have accommoodated us. Seems you can push your way in...not good. Waited 20 minutes for drinks, and one in our party was served their meal 10 minutes after the rest. Food was great but very poor service. Would not return.
Dined here many times and everything usually spot on. Not sure what happened this time but the service and food delivery were a little off. Not so bad that I wouldn't return but I wasn't happy.
Really great local dining experience. The food is always fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the fields salad with shrimp.
We had a super family dinner. Roseanne was our waitress and the chef checked on our meal twice. We will most definitely return!
Ginos was great everyone was super friendly service and food was fantastic!! I recommend it to all families. Not just commack but all of their locations I've been to them all. Everyone is equally great
Very nice choices. The meals are well prepared and presented and the portions are nice. Nice selections of wine by the glass and a good bread basket. It is an overall good dining experience and the prices are fair and reasonable.
Delicious Father’s Day lunch and can’t beat the dollar beer offer. Waitress was excellent and attentive. Food very good. Highly recommend
We went there when it first opened and it was very poor. They have improved immensely. Jamel was excellent. We will be back
The food was very good. The service is great and the staff is always so friendly. I definitely recommend this place
Nice neighborhood place. Friendly along with weekday specials. Place is very pretty and food was good with large portions
Our family dinner was wonderful at Gino’s! The food is authentic Italian, extremely fresh and portions are perfect. We had plenty to take home too! The decor and ambience is classy and can accommodate a casual dinner to a special occasion. The staff is so professional and kind, very attentive to their customers’ needs. We cannot wait to go back. I highly recommend Gino’s of Commack for families with kids, date nights, special occasion/large groups or catering. Can’t wait to go back!
Hosted an 80th Birthday for my mom. It was AMAZING. Food & service were top notch as always !!! Our server RoseAnn was awesome.
Food was very good and we plan on going back soon.
Absolutely LOVE this restaurant. The food is amazing ! We either dine in or order from there at least twice a week. The cauliflower crust pizza is my fav as well as the short rib & sausage ragu over fresh pasta.
Busy night. They set our table for 6. When we got to the table, there were only 5 chairs. Hostess noticed. She went back up to the desk, to what we thought was tell someone, but she came back to seat another table, not with a chair. And a busboy came to bring water, and it was like that’s what they told him his job was, and he didn’t do anything about a chair. So my husband was standing there for a bit until finally someone brought him a chair.
I have been to Gino's in Kings Park and the food is always fantastic. The new location did not disappoint. Food was excellent.
Excellent restaurant and nicest people and excellent food. Will recommend to everyone!
OUTSTANDING FOOD AND SERVICE. HANDLED THE CROWDS THAT WERE WAITING VERY WELL.
Good food. Service was friendly and fairly quick. It is on the expensive side and we had a variety of items that while tasted good were not large portions nor exactly Italian. My father's puttanesca (which was a menu item) was essentially red sauce with some whole olives tossed in after the fact. We even asked no anchovies, no capers in it and if there were pepper flakes very very few. I had chicken vesuvio which again was good but was just grilled chicken with some sautéed garlic, broccoli and mushrooms with a few leaves of spinach. My mother's salad was good and my husband had pasta which he said was ok. My daughter had Margherita pizza and that was the best item on the table. Crust was thin but not crackers and had some flavor, the sauce was good as well. Still new so maybe they have kinks to work on but overall I felt like it was not worth the money spent (Mannino's pricing but definitely not the quality)
We love the other Gino's locations and wanted to see if this one was comparable. We made a reservation and was sat slightly early as we arrived a little early. The decor is very nice but it is extremely bright. I'm used to low lighting and warm ambiance, it was so light and white so it felt just a little like a cafeteria. We ordered our Northport location favorite, meat lasagna to share, I also ordered a Pasta Fagoli soup to start but it came at the same time as the meal. I must say omg it was absolutely delicious. The best I've had anywhere. The lasagna was good. We were only given 2 small pcs of bread and 2 butter pats so we had to ask for more. In addition it took forever to get a soda refill as well as the check. Overall it was good and we'll definitely go back.
