Amazing place. I’d only been once before but my partner never has. We were having a day date no children for a few hours lol so was very nice. Waitress was lovely and smiled and was quick when I asked for water. The food was quick and omg so tasty and love the fact there were quite healthy options for me that I could choose from. Overall. Loved it. Will be going more often. Natalie

Went to Giraffe for my sister’s birthday celebration. It was oddly quiet on our visit but was quite nice as we were able to converse without the unnecessary hustle and bustle that other restaurants tend to have.

Our waitress was lovely and very attentive (again, this could have been due to the fact that there weren’t a lot of people there but we appreciated it all the same).

We took advantage of their happy hour offer, the cocktails were incredible. The food was okay but for a “world kitchen” I feel there weren’t enough options in each category of food in my opinion which made it difficult not to order something you could have gotten elsewhere. However, I did have the duck stir fry and absolutely loved it all the same.

I would recommend Giraffe for a get-together, the atmosphere and seating is nice and not cramped at all. It’s not too fancy that you feel uncomfortable and is great for family! I will probably be visiting again.

I couldn’t honestly tell you what the inside of this restaurant is like we never got inside. I booked a table for my daughters birthday (8 days before) as she is mad about giraffes, however the restaurant didn’t have the booking despite me showing them the confirmation email I had received. The best they could do was give me a table if I was prepared to wait 40 minutes.... even though there were empty tables. I wasn’t prepared to wait that long and with that it ruined our day and more importantly my daughters birthday.

Food was good.
Price was great.
Quality of the restaurant was not so great - e.g. we were given a torn paper menu... so I would not recommend this place for a special occasion meal.

Nice food and very friendly waitress. We had a reservation and we were shown to our table promptly. Slightly disappointed with the decor as expected more of a giraffe theme but overall would certainly visit again as was good value for money

We've been here several times in the past and each time it's got a little worse (over a period of a couple of years). The decor is tired and worn (ripped seats) and the staff don't really seem to know what they're doing. The food is OK but only just. As it turns out this branch will be closing soon according to one staff member so I'm not surprised the staff aren't bothered any more. No one came to check if our meal was OK or to ask if we wanted any more drinks. I'd downloaded the Giraffe app before we arrived and it said we could have a free desert as we'd signed up. The staff member said at the end that only applied to the set menu but the app doesn't say that in the terms and conditions and as they didn't give us the set menu when we arrived that seemed a bit mean. However, the manager did make an adjustment in the end so we didn't lose out which was appreciated but I get the feeling that this restaurant (which used to be one of the best in Bluewater) has seen better days... sad, really.

Excellent service, lightning fast and friendly. We had a baby and a wheelchair user with us and we hung about for a good 4 hours with people of our party coming and going, ordering bits of food at odd times and it didn’t phase them at all. My only slight complaints: the toilet facilities aren’t great (broken toilet seat, insecure door lock) and if there was a little play corner for the kids it would have made our lives a bit easier, but other than that, another great experience at Giraffe Bluewater.

The food came out way too quickly, which for me personally was a red light.

Both of our meals were freezing cold, I just ate mine as I couldn't be bothered with complaining, my wife sent her meal back though, when returned - not even an apology for the cold dinner burger and fries.

I had the Malay Chicken Curry - tasteless with, unseasoned rice, cold chapati - just an awful meal.
Wife also said her food was tasteless - she had the chicken burger and chips. We had to then finish our meals at different times, which is annoying.

One positive, our waitress was lovely, really smiley and welcoming.

Funny thing is, I visited with a £20 voucher to spend. This was given to me as a sorry by Giraffe for poor service.

Good restaurant food and service always excellent. We used a voucher and it wasn't busy, I think people forget about this restaurant at bluewater because of its position, shame really they don't know what they are missing.

There is a nice mix of food. But we didnt have a great experience because one of our drink orders came wrong, one meal wasnt put through the till so one guest had to wait an extra 15 mins for her meal and the waitress just really didnt seem to understand the menu at all.

Perfect place to catch up with friends. Definitely would recommend this place to others , food come up quick , service was brilliant always checking we were alright , had a slight problem with a drink we ordered but was changed straight away. Will definitely go back here.

The only negative was that when we arrived we were ushered to the seating area outside the restaurant. As it was draughty and noisy we asked to be seated inside only to be told it was full and/or the tables were pre-booked. It certainly didn't look busy. A word with the management and suddenly a table was available. Whilst we were there the restaurant only became less busy...
Perhaps it's their policy to keep the outside tables occupied, but I think it makes for a very different and less appealing eating experience.

The staff were good once they came over and welcomed you in but took a while to awknowlege new customers. They didn't have a vegan menu but had a couple of different meals available, unfortunately they only had one starter, main and dessert available as a vegan option at the time I ordered. The food that was ordered was nice. I was also happy will the bill when it came and showed good value for money.

Decour tatty,well fingered by little sticky fingers - needs a deep clean
Ultimate burger yuk - greasy - burnt meat cooked in old oil - couple slices of thin processed cheese and partiality cooked fatty bacon

Food was better than a previous visit. Staff are always friendly, food service was quick today (which can make a change) although drinks took a long time.
Only issue...there always seems to be a few flies around which gets pretty annoying!!! & makes you wonder why!?

I waited 15 mins to be seated although I had a reservation (which they said they couldn't find although I booked with Opentable). Then waited 15 mins to be served although I did have to ask twice to be served. Price wise very cheap but the service is poor. I would have grumbled at paying a 10% charge but as less then a pound I didn't complain! Think it could be good but not on a busy day like New Year's Eve.

My ratings are harsh and unfair for a majority of the points as we did in fact not even eat here. When we arrived we were told there had been no chicken delivery that day and therefore there was a limited menu- garlic bread and nachos. My issue is the fact that no one, Open Table or Giraffe, called ahead of my booking to tell me this. I not only wasted petrol and my time but I then had to disappoint the group I came with.

Although I had booked a table we were waiting at the “wait to be seated” stand for over 10 minutes even though countless staff watched us standing there with four children! Even though I had booked for 6 people and two babies we still had to wait for the table to be made up and high chairs brought over! Saying that the food and service from then was fine albeit a little overpriced for what you get

We waited ages to be seated even though the restaurant was empty and we had booked, there was tomato sauce all over the floor at the entrance.

The tables were pushed together and were different shapes and sizes so one of our party had their back to another. The leather sofa we had with one table was all ripped and worn out.

The kids meals were tiny. The red wine and white wine ordered were horrid.

My food wasn’t great, the service mediocre.

Overall, a rubbish experience. Will never go back or recommend.

The food was delicious and couldn't fault it although a little overpriced for the size of portion. The waitress we had should learn to smile and be a little more like she was interested in serving us and I totally hate it when the gratuity is already added to the bill. However I asked for it to be removed and there was no argument.
