Nice family restaurant good choices.
They offered gluten free and the brownie was delicious! Would definitely recommend especially if you are going to see Wicked as the Apollo is within minutes walking.

First visit to Giraffe restaurant which was not disappointing. Visited with husband and 2 children and we all enjoyed our meals. Little mix up with bill but was sorted promptly. Would definitely visit again and would recommend to friends.

The cocktails were OK, the spped of delivery was pretty slow though given how quiet the restaurant was. We opted for the vday set menu which offered good value for money. The starters were nice: chirizo, flatbread and dumplings. The mains were not so good. They were ready before we had finished our starters. The burger was over cooked and dry and the noodle salad was awful! The noodles were cold and undercooked and it really was not a restaurant quality meal, more like something you'd rustle up from left overs! We opted to avoid desert and then due to a till issue we were over charged as the waitress could not work out how to charge us for the set menu, thus we paid full price for dishes. We were in a rush to visit the theatre and did not have the time to challenge the bill but it certainly left a sour taste and we won't be returning.

We arrived for our 5.15 reservation ahead of attending a theatre show at 7.30. A table of 4 for 3 courses took an eternity to serve, to then deliver below average food that was massively overpriced and not tasty. Vegetarian burger wasn’t available and only one other thing my daughter liked as a pescatarian on menu. We had to ask for the bill more than once, with us being a rush we didn’t fully check the bill to see we had paid the optional 12.5% service charge. We were all in agreement about the food being poor and had we not had the 2-4-1 taste card discount would have been even more upset. We left the majority of one main and a dessert and the waitress didn’t ask us if all was ok with our meals, she probably knew they weren’t good so didn’t want to open herself up to a complaint. Would we go back, absolutely not.

This was a nice relaxed and friendly place to take our young toddler for dinner. However the food was pretty terrible. My chicken burger was really dry. It all seemed to have been cooked hours before and re-heated for our order. It arrived far too quickly to have been cooked fresh. Disapointing really.

Very handy for Theatre (Wicked) but was disappointed with the food. I ordered the Curry and it arrived with out the Naan bread which was then reordered and I had almost finished, they took off the bill.

They did not mention the child eats free either so we paid for my grand-daughters meal. Also said in email before that it was her birthday - but nothing!!

We chose Giraffe because it offered something for everyone in our party. It's a popular spot, so come early or make a reservation for dinner. We ordered many tapas and shared the plates. We enjoyed the hand-crafted cocktails and sodas as well. Everything was delicious and the wait staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely eat here again.

We booked a table for a pre-show meal and the restaurant was ideally located for the Apollo Victoria Theatre.
The food was delicious and cocktails were good value on a 2 for 1 offer.
My only negative was that once we finished the meal as the waiter collected the plates he immediately returned will the card machine for us to pay which I felt was a little rushed as we hadn't finished our drinks. However, I would return to the restaurant and would recommend it

The idea of Giraffe is good - get popular foods from around the world, and make them all available. The downside is that you can't get very 'deep' into any particular food culture, but that's probably not an issue for most people.

I had a Malay curry, which was excellent, and the food my daughter ate was decent enough (it's hard to get spaghetti in tomato sauce wrong, but it's also hard to make it amazing.) My wife and I drank mint tea, which was very nice. My wife's meal was pide with halloumi and feta, which was as good as the Malay curry; we had a shared starter of nachos - these let the meal down, being a bit soggy and with the sauces being fairly bland. I had a sundae for dessert - very nice indeed - and my daughter's ice cream was very popular too. Overall, the quality of the meal was very good.

The downside is that we were poked in a corner and largely forgotten about - it took 20 minutes from being seated to placing orders. Once the personnel on the floor changed, things improved remarkably, but still not enough for me to rank the service better than 'poor'.

The food was ok but overall we were very disappointed. We have used Giraffe before and always been impressed with the service (particularly as a family), but this restaurant was not the same experience. We booked as a group of 13 (including 7 children) but we were placed on a tall table with high stools. No effort was made to find another table after we expressed concern about the 2 and 3 year olds. There were also other customers waiting for take-always on our table, again no effort was made to move these people, even after we sat down. Very strange. It then took 15 minutes and several requests to get menus. The manager had an odd approach to customer care, he came across as extremely flippant and told us to ‘just relax and have a glass of wine’ (this sadly was not being offered ‘on the house, just as a rather patronising way to telling us to stop being annoyed). I would not recommend this restaurant.

I haven't been to giraffe for a few years. I used to really like it but it seems really different now. I usually try eat vegan but there wasn't great choice, even for vegetarian. My meal was very disappointing. The service was rushed and not very good. I had a 40% off voucher which meant it was OK value, though it still seemed overpriced for what I had. It definitely wouldn't be worth it full price. I wouldn't go back.

The two of us went for a pre theatre meal with cocktails. The food was excellent with generous portions. We had a voucher and when the bill came I was amazed at how cheap it was including service. I would definitely reccommend Giraffe for a delicious meal. Also the service at Victoria was attentive without being intrusive. Thank you.

Went to Giraffe in Victoria the other day before going to see Hamilton the musical down the road. The whole experience was absolutely outstanding. The waiters were bubbly & super friendly, willing to explain anything you needed confirming from the menu. So much variety and choice of food it all sounded delicious, and what we ordered was phenomenal.
They even treated us to a free cocktail due to it being my birthday.
I couldn’t fault it, would 100% recommend.

Friendly service and lively atmosphere. I come here a lot as I live nearby. It’s quiet in the morning if you want to meet someone over coffee. The breakfast/brunch menu is great. It gets busy and noisy at weekend lunchtimes and half term also pre theatre (Wicked is opposite). It’s very good value especially as there are so many 2 for 1 offers. Decent wines at reasonable price.
