Chef Rob Rossi & David Minicucci, of Toronto favourite L'Unità, have collaborated to bring a genuine neighbourhood restaurant to Dufferin Grove.
Designed by acclaimed architect Guido Costantino Projects, a beguiling interior sets the stage for a convivial family-style dining experience that honours traditional Italian fare while showcasing stand-out ingredients.
Original brick and beam frame this warm, welcoming space where no detail is left unconsidered. Copper, Italian wool & red oxidized steel accents interplay with blonde wood and terrazzo, creating a rich, textured environment as enticing as Chef Rossi’s menu offerings.
Incredible experience. Food, staff and ambience was amazing. Highly recommend.
Food was great - Fabio was awesome!
Thank you. Will be back :)

Wonderful experience at Giulietta. Dishes came out on time and candles (planned earlier) came in time to surprise my partner.
The sub par service completely overshadowed the tasty food. Although we had a reservation, we waited 20 minutes before being seated. It took over an hour to receive the main course from the time we ordered the appetizers, even though we asked for all food to be brought out as soon as it was ready. Knowing we were celebrating a birthday, I expected a tiny dessert to offset the service issues, but it was not offered.
Love it! Been many times, never disappointed! Every dish was great!
Seated at the bar, fantastic food and service. Expensive but worth it.
Excellent meal and service. Will definitely recommend for both the thoughtful menu and the high quality of ingredients
The food and service was incredible!! I'll be back
The grilled octopus is to die for. So tender and perfect. The pappardelle with oxtail rage is my second favourite thing on the latest menu.
This is my new favourite italian restaurant in the city.
One of the more modern style Italian restaurant. Food is great and each dish is designed to be shared so that's a definite plus. Will definitely recommend it.
Was a wee bit disappointed that we got bumped to the chefs table . Very busy night
Perhaps because we were two women
Still a good experience but felt looked over .
Excellent duck agnolotti! Love the pizzas, salads and apps, especially the burata. My favorite Italian spot in town! Service is always very attentive :)
The food was bland which was very disappointing as it had potential to be great. The ambiance and decor was very good though.
Food and ambiance are tremendous. Service is second to none. Seating can be a bit of a challenge if only 2 are dining. Bartenders and wine expert are super knowledgeable.
Italian fine dining at it's best in Toronto.
Reserved a table for two but we were happy to sit at the bar and had a great evening , also Ian is a great barman/host. Top.
The ambiance and decor of the restaurant was amazing. The service was way above expectations, the waiter knew the menu very well. The pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had, will definitely visit again.
The food was impeccable, the cocktails well made the service was outstanding! Highly recommend for a special night out. Will definitely be going back to experience more of the menu.
Perfection as always, great food, service and ambiance.
Best restaurant in all of Toronto! Staff was super polite and helpful, ingredients were fresh and food tasted amazing
1. the carne cruda (steak tartare) was absolutely tasteless (we are fans of steak tartare and this was one of the worst examples we've had).
2. the trippa alla romana (roman style tripe) was the best of all the dishes we had and we enjoyed it very much.
3. the reginette ragu had nice pasta, but was short on ragu.
4. the cioppino was A JOKE--a scant serving of seafood on a flat plate (not even a bowl) that cost $33.00
5. the guanduja torta was excellent.
Generally Giulietta is an overpriced, pretentious noisy place with too long a menu with some dishes executed well and others not.
The best ragu pasta dish I have ever tasted. Period. The octopus was also an impressive dish. Prices very reasonable.
The waitress was super helpful when picking anything off the menu and answered every single question perfectly every recommendation was delicious beyond words
Wonderful food matched equally with great service - will be back. :-)
We had one pizza and two pasta courses and they were delicious. Great ambience and overall an upscale non stuffy dining experience. Soft serve gelato wasnt amazing but that’s about the only negative.
This was our second time eating here. Overall good experience. Service slightly complacent versus the first time. Our first glass of Rose was slightly warm. The burrata was delicious but unfortunately served with underripe peaches. The porterhouse steak was fantastic and cooked to perfection. I am gluten free and there is very little to eat for dessert. Only choice was homemade Nutella gelato but it arrived without the promised hazelnuts. Server should know what contains gluten and not promised it! I suspect it was a hazelnut crumble that likely contained some breadcrumbs and therefore the kitchen sent it without.
Nice place, the people are very friendly, great ambiance. But tables are extremely close together and we were all but dining with the two tables on either side of us which was a little uncomfortable. I feel like they just try to fill it. Food was really good with high quality ingredients, but extremely overpriced for the small portions you get. Drinks are well made, but also very expensive for the amount you get. Basically a typical Toronto restaurant with hype. Good place overall though!
Decor is stunning. My meal was ok but not as good as I expected. The burrata was too dense on the inside and there were a disappointing few pieces of tomato in the salad especially since it’s the season. The cucumber salad was not a flavour I liked so I didn’t eat it. The Reginette al ragu was good. Wine list is good. Overall underwhelmed. I would like to give it another try.
Food was delicious!! Presentation was lovely. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. Could be more lower-priced wine selections. Dinner for 4 was seven sharing courses (enough for all of us) + two desserts, two bottles of wonderful wine, came to almost exactly $400 including tax and tip.
It was great. Food and service outstanding.
Amazing meal! Fabulous ambiance! Will definitely go back.
The food is tasty, traditional and inventive at the same time. The service is friendly and the restaurant has a good atmosphere.
Great food and very attentive staff.
The atmosphere was nice, and the food was pretty good. However, I do find it very pricey for the quantity of what you are receiving. I don't think that I would come back due to price. That is my only critique.
Undercooked pasta (not al dente). Pizza was alright... dough was tough. Insalata verde (Salad) was on point. Overall, it’s over priced for what was served.
The service was great, food was slow and a lot of the dishes were somewhat cold. Wouldn’t go back or recommend to a friend.
Amazing resto. One of the best in Toronto.
a delightful restaurant; well worthy of all the accolades; top quality ingredients prepared perfectly ; great service; good choice of wines and a super sommelier who made a recommendation of an obscure wine that worked well with our dinner. It is a busy, trendy restaurant and reservations are needed well in advance
I’ve been to Giulettas a couple times and always enjoyed it however my last experience was dismal. Buratta was really bad - they should use another supplier. Beef tartare was served without a hit of seasoning - no salt whatsoever and when I complained, they brought salt to my table lol 😂 pizza and pasta was uninspired - new chefs maybe? Really downhill from my last visit
Service was great, food came at the perfect times. The cacio e pepe and oxtail ragú were delicious.
