Giusi at Chiswick
Abramo & Davide offer you the warmest of welcomes at the new Giusi - soon to be renamed ‘Via Appia’.
We have a new team running the restaurant and a brand new menu waiting for you.
Mostly inspired by Southern Italian Cuisine from the Appian Way, our new menu brings you the cuisine from Rome to Brindisi, and the finest flavours from across the regions of Lazio, Campania, Basilicata and Puglia.
Let us take your tastebuds on a journey! We look forward to welcoming you,
Abramo & Davide
Good for family dinner. I do like their today's special, especially for seafood. But not always available.
Ottima cena.. la gentilezza del personale è il punto forte del locale. Da provare!!!
We have been here several times before and love the authentic Italian food. We have even bumped into Italian friends eating there in the past. Staff have always been super friendly. This time it was very busy. I had booked via opentable and they put me at a table near to the door on a cold night. When I asked to be moved I was told that to get the best tables you have to book by phone and specify a table. It would have been useful to know this. Staff were polite but not friendly.
Went to Giusi for Mother's Day as we wanted to stay local. Small and cosy restaurant, with a pleasant atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient. Food, however, was mixed. Calamari starter was rubbery and, at nine pounds, not cheap. Spaghetti bolognese main was quite tasty, with good amount of meaty bolognese. Calves liver was rather tasteless and sinewy, with a large quantity of caramelised onions on top to provide the flavour. Mash was smooth though. Desert consisted of a pizza with nutella and strawberries, which was yummy. No wine or alcohol, so unable to comment on that. The bill came to seventy five pounds, which was what we'd have expected to pay in a much better restaurant. All in all, Giusi has all the ingredients of a lovely restaurant, but just falls short in quality, and very expensive for what it is. Think the pizza and pasta options are your best bet.
Good food done well
Super evening. Great food and service. Ingredients were fantastic. Pasta sublime!
Wonderful and attentive service. Beautifully fresh food and solid wine list.
Great servie! Lovely food! Attention to details. That’s why we are regulars!
A lovely local restaurant, good Italian food including Pizza & pasta. My colleague had the special chicken dish which looked and tasted great. Friendly service
We had a really great meal with delicious pizza. Our kids (7 and 4) were made really welcome, too. Recommend!
Went with our two children (5 and 8) and had a great meal. Really friendly service (accommodated requests for the kids) and delicious pasta and pizza. Will be coming again.
This was my first visit for lunch with a friend.
All was good and the service and attention were excellent
I will definitely go to Giusi for lunch in the future and also recommend it o my friends.
I wish this restaurant all good wishes and hope that they make it a success.
Love this restaurant but have just noticed sadly that it's closed. The food has always been very fresh and really delicious, traditional, home cooked Italian food.
A gem of a restaurant with lots of menu options. Food was delicious and service fast and friendly. Next time I'm definitely having the ribs.
We went to Giusi on Friday night and had a lovely evening. We shared a Bruschetta as starter and had their lovely smooth red house wine. As main dish we had a Capricciosa Pizza and veal escalope with asparagus and fontina cheese. We were both happy with the quality of the food. My wife could hardly finish her Pizza, which was probably due to the large amount of toppings. The veal was very tender and accompanied by a nice white wine sauce. Deserts were not possible as we were both already full. I think the restaurant isn't cheap but delivers quality food. In the end that's what you want.
Excellent 5 star food and service, though is was slow it was worth the wait. However the "room" is noisy! Not a place to have a conversation. The wine list needs to improve.
The place is very pretty and the personnel is friendly. Pizza was really great and also the pasta. Very good value and will go back!
Our third visit to this restaurant. We arrived for our 7.45pm booking and were asked to sit at a table at the front of the restaurant, with the entire front of the restaurant open while the temperature outside was 15 degrees (ie not suitable for outdoors dining). We initially sat there in our coats and jackets after asking the waiter to move us to the next available table further inside the restaurant when one became available, which he agreed to do. Tables of two further in became available, but they did not offer to move us o those, instead placing there other diners that arrived after us. Inconsiderate to say the least. We left after 10 minutes sitting in the cold, and made our points clear to the staff upon leaving. Utterly ridiculous to have the restaurant front open in these temperatures and expect people to have their meals with their coats on.
Lovely and tasteful Italian cuisine. Having a check to their daily menu is strongly recommended if you want to have the best dinner experience.
Very good evening. Good Italian pizzas. And very good service.
Pleasant staff. Good Italian food. Very reasonable cost.
The customer service is amazing! The food is fabulous and the ambiance is relaxed.
Well done! I'll keep coming back!
Great local place.
All very good
Had an enjoyable evening. The pizza and pasta were very good. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back!
My wife and I have been eating here for a couple of years. We enjoy the food and friendliness of the owners and staff. Their pizza is particularly good and we get takeaway from them frequently.
Excellent service, excellent food and great value for money.
Great service and food!
We really enjoyed our evening. The staff were friendly and the pizzas really good. Great ambience. Would go again.
Guisi at Chiswick is amazing.
Five star Service, amazing quality food, lovely restaurant, authentic Italian ,value for money.
The waitres was brilliant, providing some of the warmest, friendliest and most personal service we have ever received!
Amazing service, fabulous food would recommend and will be a returning customer
Great neighbourhood spot! Good food for a good price. We will be back!
Our second time in this cosy bustling local restaurant. We were 5 for a family birthday, including a hungry 6 year old. We all tried different items from the menu including the fish special, pizza and pasta as well as 2 different wines. The food arrived quickly and was served with efficiency and with a smile despite the restaurant being full as we left.
We will be back soon!
Great place, very accommodating and staff are amazingly helpful. Food is very palatable and really exciting. Is a must go dining experience as you wont be dissapointed.
Me and my boyfriend were really blown away by the food at this restaurant, especially the Pizza. It is without a doubt the best Pizza in London and you can really taste the freshness of all the ingredients. The staff is also very friendly and professional. I would recommend this place over every other Italian restaurant in London that i ve been to.
Great food and pleasant service - ordered the shared starter platter which was completely amazing followed by the lasagna, which was quite disappointing at first. It came with very little ragu (essentially just layers of pasta with a bit dribbled on top), but when mentioned to the host he immediately had another made with extra sauce and cheese which turned out to be great! Great house white and he even gave us a small tub of olives to take home.
Great local restaurant. Lovely food & wine, staff have right balance of helpful, friendly, efficient.
They will be seeing a lot of us!
Guisi is not open and doesn't look like it will be for some time. A totally wasted journey.
