Glass Brasserie - Hilton Sydney
Whether you come to dine with friends, family or someone special your dining experience will be nothing short of unique with Sydney’s finest Australian produce with an Asian inspiration, exquisite décor and superior service.
Poor service, lack of food knowledge on junior staff and senior staff refused to help to deliver food
Which totally ruined our son’s birthday
25th wedding anniversary. Have used Salt a number of times before
Absolutely amazing good and service, I even tried the duck (first time) and it was delicious the crispy skin.. Yummo and that dessert OMG!! give me more
Outstanding experience. Fantastic restaurant. Great food and service
We went here for my hubby's birthday. We ordered the pan fried fish and scotch fillet steak and salads and chips as sides, we were disappointed that the fish was overcooked and had very bland sauce and the steak was supposed to be medium rare but came out medium well. The only thing saving this restaurant is the service and the location. I had been here 5 years ago when the food was spectacular and I am very disappointed that the food quality has declined to a pub's quality level. I will not be returning to dine here again.
Great atmosphere, fine dining With good food , and wine .
I've already booked my next lunch for my mothers birthday in Dec
Great produce , cooked to perfection, presented beautifully and served with a smile.
A restaurant that keeps delivering
A great experience
Glass has always been my favourite restaurant. I think its due to a slower Sydney economy, its new menu is much better value. But the wine list also got cut back and will a higher mark up. But the mot significant change is the quality of waiter has dropped.
Pretty bloody good it has to be said. Wine list is extensive but hard pressed to keep sub $100 so depending on occasion might be little pricey. Overall top experience.
Great service & atmosphere... Food amazing - would definitely recommend the Gnocchi
Lovely area. Good service. Lovely food. Generous serving of bottomless rose.
Staff did not know their product. When inquiries were made they'd disappear to find out the answer to our questions but never come back - 3x. Menu was disappointing and over-priced. We booked for a pre-theatre experience only to be told that 'did not exist' by the waiter. When we told the manager on our leaving how disappointed we were she said 'but we do have a pre-theatre menu'. Too little too late.
Good food. Nice service. Attention to detail. Lovely setting
The Sunday Brunch was excellent value, generous portions and delicious.
I would recommend it.
Always impeccable service and food, your wine list is delightful and I have never been disappointed when going to Glass Brassiere.
I booked our meal on-line for 6pm, when we arrived we were presented with a pre theatre menu.. It took a bit of convincing that we weren't there for pre theatre dining. Next, I'm not sure if we were booked in incorrectly however several tables around us were presented with a pre dinner wine / champagne trolley, this was not offered to us. Would have been nice considering that my wife and I were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary. Maybe next time. Overall a very nice experience
Overall I would say good, not great. Food was decent, not superb, at least not one dish I tried that will make me wanna go back for sure. Service was great. However for the price paid there are better choices among hat winners.
This is my go to for special occasions. Great atmosphere, great food, wine and service. Always a special night at Glass!
Food and services as good as expected. Made for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.
Overall, a beautiful experience. Beautiful food. Pricing and portions as expected. Service really lovely as well.
We enjoyed the great food and the ambiance. The food took a while though but it is worth the wait.
Great setting. Especially good for business meetings. Food quality is great. Some of the "lower level" waiters could benefit for a little bit more training. Example: I would have expected that when I order a "San Pellegrino" the waiter knows what I am talking about, but I need to "clarify" that I wanted sparkling water.
Our waiter was exceptional. The ambience was inviting. Hats off to the chef. Our food was delicious.
We went to Glass Brasserie on a Sunday and the Sunday special was on including Rose. This was a fixed menu and we requested the vegetarian option, which was very well catered for. The host Luke Mangan was impressive the way he visited each of the tables to greet his guests. He is very hands on to ensure the comfort of all the dining guests.
The food was absolutely superb and we will be back. Along with the ambiance and the service, it was a very pleasurable afternoon.
And I did mention the attention to detail from Luke. He even stopped by our table and took a few selfies.
Do yourselves a favour... don't miss a Sunday for lunch at Glass... or even dinner or lunch every other day of the week. This restaurants adds class to the Hilton.
We had a wonderful dining experience here and the service was brilliant. Very attentive waiters without being in your face. The only thing I could fault was the uncomfortable bench seat cushion which made me sink very low. These need to be replaced.
Ordered the lamb for two and what arrived at our table was raw lamb cutlets that had to be sent back to be cooked to at least rare along with some chunks of lamb shoulder. Last visit we were served an amazing slow cooked shoulder of lamb and expected same! Fish for two came serves as seafood paella!!!
This is one of our favourite restaurants when we visit Sydney. Consistently great food, particularly their steaks, stunning decor and friendly efficient service
Exceptional as always. Must say the play list of music was outstanding as well.
Good most of the time. Vegan crumpets unusual and needed honey. Coffee needed to be redone. Service friendly. Great surroundings.
I had a terrific light lunch for 3 people. I thought the food was excellent and so good to have a choice between small dishes and larger size. Keep it up!
beautiful space, great food - a lovely lunch experience
Great restaurant lovely menu and varied range of wine.
Dinner with 3 girlfriends was a fun decadant treat....
Always a pleasant experience that's why I'm a returning customer , good work to all the staff , keep doing what you do best !!!
We were a little disappointed with Glass. The restaurant is a little, tired since our last visit a couple of years ago. Chairs are worn and showing signs of wear, the menu hasn’t seemed to evolve and the restaurant seems to have generally lost its special touch. We were disppointed that the whole duck had sold out, for a 7.30 Booking on a Friday evening. We wouldn’t be in a hurray to return.
Having now eaten in the Glass Brasserie 3 times over the past week, on the first occasion alone and on the subsequent occasions with another person the seating was not suitable. The first occasion on my own I was sat at a table with bench seating where the table placement meant I sat on a join of two seating sections - not comfortable. On the second occasion we were placed on the end of a bench seat in a corner. We asked to be moved to a table with chairs and were most grateful that this request was accommodated. On the 3rd occasion request for a table was accommodated but the table set for two with one looking into the full dining area and the other looking at the coat cupboard.
Amazing food- value for money- I was full and the ambiance was great too. Will definitely go back again.
I go here every year since 2016 to celebrate my birthday and it never disappoint. I love glass brasserie breakfast buffet!
A family dinner celebrating a birthday. Service was attentive. Food was delicious & choice was excellent. We were seated at a great table overlooking QVB which was relatively quiet. Overall a great night.
Excellent service and food - will definitely return
