Great food - amazing staff and a great place to have dinner on a Friday evening- couldn't be happier ! Thank you
As always the best Vietnamese in London
Excellent food and great service. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back on my next visit to London.
Very surprising they don't care about allergies, so you have to choose a meal and leave 2 third of what you have been served in your plate. Not good for the restaurant either.
Food is good, service average. Not a big help and we had to wait for a very long time to order even the restaurant was not full.
Superb and interesting food. Good wines too. Friendly service.
Always super delicious, authentic and great service
We ordered two types of soup rice noodles, one is beep and the other sea food. The taste of sea food was good, and that of beep was acceptable, but slightly weak.
Second time I have been here and as fresh and tasty as my previous visit
Definitely recommend it
We arrived and they seated us at the smallest table in the restaurant. We are two large men so this was not good start. We ordered several appetizers and mains. The food came out silly nilly with no rhythm. The food was not as good as we get at our local Vietnamese restaurant for 1/2 the price, but bad just uninspired. Not the fine dining experience we expected. The service was also very attentive but not good. They didn’t pour nor help.
This was a fabulous meal. We will definitely return. Thank you for making our birthday and anniversary celebration so special.
Lovely setting and great service. The food was generally very good, although not every dish. Not cheap, but it's in South Ken.
Booked this almost randomly after browsing options near South Ken on OpenTable, and I was very pleasantly surprised! The food was very reasonable for the area. There was a good selection, everything was well presented, but most importantly extremely tasty. I will be sure to return.
I was excited to see there is a Vietnamese restaurant in Kensington and after reading some of the positive reviews, I booked a table to go there for dinner.
The menu was quite short but I was keen to try their noodles with homemade broth - I was so disappointed....the flavour was lacking and I don’t understand why they used wagyu beef with the noodles. The beef were thickly sliced and were totally cooked. There were barely any noodles given it was meant to be a main course dish. Did they use wagyu because it is a trendy ingredient? It was totally wasted and unnecessary - a few thinly sliced sirloin or fillet would have been a better choice.
We also had iberico pork which again seemed to me that they only used this expensive ingredient because it is trendy. Vietnamese pork is usually packed with lemongrass flavour but this dish tasted more of just ginger and garlic, reminding me of Cantonese flavours rather than Vietnamese.
The other dishes we had were ok, nothing to write home about and if I hadn’t known it was meant to be Vietnamese I wouldn’t have known, based on the flavours!
All in all quite disappointing and won’t be rushing back.
Excellent service with lovely food and ambiance. Look forward to going back!
Great Vegan options. Friendly, attentive service
Great soup and taste. Friendly staff and great experience.
Food was actually quite average compared to the pics on the web-site. Asked for two vodka tonics, and tonic was flat, as was the prosecco in the Aperol Spritz. Also, for the food that we received, it was extremely expensive, and we could've probably got a better meal at a more appropriate price at Pho.
Friendly service. I didn’t like seating in the basement. Starter was ok but main course wasn’t very good. I ate everything because I was hungry
Outstanding food with fresh ingredients. A favourite that never disappoints.
Bright fresh flavors. Welcoming and helpful staff.
A small but very pleasant restaurant serving very inventive and modern Vietnamese cuisine. We will definitely go again.
Fantastic, experience and please try the Seasonal Tasting Menu, great journey and unique presentations.... Bravo Chef
Amazing food so tasty and varied
Definitely will come back
Now a firm favourite
As always great food and service very good quality
The food was outstanding and service absolutely great. They treat you like they know you. Ordered the soft shell crab which was sooo tasty. The spring rolls were very good and fresh. Chicken foie gras delicious too. The prawns were deep fried with a bit too much batter in my opinion. I 100% recommend this fine Viet place and will go again soon.
The restaurant insisted on seating us in the basement though there were free tables upstairs. We have been regulars here and thought they were rude and inflexible. We left. Extremely poor service on this occasion. Highly disappointing.
Great food. Staff are pleasant but don’t really know what they are doing. Persistently interrupted conversations to ask how everything was. But generally great restaurant with interesting food.
First time Vietnamese dining experience. Will definitely return.
Food is always very good here. The salmon smoked under glass is a particular favourite, and has a nice show value! Lunch is simple, but then dinner gets very interesting. The food is delicious, beautifully prepared and presented, and the quality excellent. Really nothing more to say, but really worth a try!
Fantastic food as usual but floor staffs will need more warm attitude to all guests. The customer service is a bit getting less impressive than before. It may be one of important factors to keep food lovers happy.
Consistently good food and service at Go Viet. One of our favorites in London.
As always outstanding can’t be faulted best Vietnamese in London
I’ve been looking for good Vietnamese restaurants in west London for a while- and Go Viet is a great one! Six friends and I went out for dinner on Easter Sunday and we had a wonderful time eating scrumptious, authentic food, drinking delicious cocktails and wine. I had the 24 hour cooked beef cheek dish which was mouthwatering and to die for, and the lychee cocktail which was fresh and sweet perfect for warm spring evening. Excellent service to top it all off.
Not super exciting food, actually tastes a few notches less flavourful then Vietnamese food in, Vietnam of course, but other places in London too. It was missing the punch of flavours, everything was very subdued.
Somewhere on the road to become fusion food it’s lost what makes Vietnamese food so delicious. Bit disappointed in this regards. The price justifies the rent for the building, not the quality of the food. Individual ingredients did taste fresh however, in particular the sea bass was very good!
The service was exceptional. Everyone was extremely attentive and absolutely wonderful. Very warm smiles and attitude from all members of staff. Couldn’t rate the service higher honestly, it was a true highlight.
The spring rolls platter was nice, but What’s a pity me and my sisters cannot eat all of the Beef ,the staff just asking any food allergies with us?
I think they should asking us anything we cannot eat but not allergies........
Amazing food and service!
Great Wagyu Pho and soft shell crab!
Would recommend if you are looking for high end Vietnamese food!
Good food and nice ambiance
Went for diner for the 1st time.
Loved it. I’ve tried several Asian restaurants around london (as I’m real lover of Asian flavours). This one definitely packs a punch with strong flavours yet not spicy. Beautifully served and presented. Modern surrounding small place but good ambiance. Very popular with the Asian community which I think is always a good sign. Would recommend the soup noodles and egg plant bean dishes the spring rolls were delicious too. Will go back.
A little expensive but then it’s south Ken & worth every penny & quality is there !
Great food and service
