I had been to GOAT before for a drink at the bar, but never to eat. i decided to take my partner for our anniversary and i wasn't disappointed!
the service is brilliant, although the prosecco was forgotten about once ordered, they soon realised and the service continued to be exceptional! the place is buzzing, its full of chatter so you can take a date here without feeling the awkwardness of a silent restaurant, the food is priced quite nicely considering this is west london. we both enjoyed the pizza's and i have to say... these were so tasty. offered a table in the bar upstairs and Steve did a great job of ensuring that we were catered for. will return! thank you
Very enjoyable staff and great food! Good atmosphere.
I loved this place, great atmosphere, fantastic service and the food was delicious. I will definitely go back on a date or with friends
The restaurant was very noisy , the food was average and overpriced and an enforced service charge for mediocre service leaves a bitter taste.
Great meal, staff very friendly. Will be visiting again.
Always enjoy going to Goat with the family. This time we were 8, including our kids and parents and, although the booking was for 6 only and they were packed (Sunday late lunch), they bent over backwards to accommodate us. The tuna tartare was delicious and the lamb chops were very good, and our kids enjoyed the pizza (burata and San Danielle ham), pasta and meatballs. An extensive enough wine list with good value drinking too. Service was very good
Service was terrible and our waitress was incredibly rude throughout the evening, but food was good as always and atmosphere nice for a Friday evening.
Pretty average food but great service and cocktails - worth a trip
Really enjoyed the service provided as this was way beyond expectations. The food was beautifully presented and tasted very good.
Great discovery in Chelsea/Fulham. The place looks really nice and the food is delicious and well presented. On the expensive side but some dishes are original, so it's worth it. Very friendly staff and there is a cocktail bar and a speakeasy type bar on the second floor.
Was okay, nothing special. So many good Italian restaurants in the area .
Good food. Vibe
It was cinema night therefore it effected the ambiance bad. The food was eatable, lamb had too much fat, missing salt and pepper - little bit tasteless and bad piece of meat. I will come back and try the pizzas, they looked so tasty. Also have to say, the service was great! Big plus for that.
In the speak easy bar they didn't give me a change - after asking the lady reluctantly gave me back over four pounds !! After which I also requested the optional service charge - given the rudeness of it all!!!! Hence I received over 7 pounds back.... this is completely inappropriate and in fact some would call it stealing!!!!!
Was there for New Year and had a really good night. Great selection of food which was all excellent and friendly staff
Thank you for a great early family NYE dinner - the staff was gracious and accommodating to us and our daughters. Starters, sides, and mains were terrific - 4* for food only because dessert didn't match the rest of the meal.
Lovely restaurant, great service and buzzy atmosphere.
Little disappointed we were sat in the basement which would have been fine but it was NYE and it lacked atmosphere, quiet! We did ask to be moved but they said they hadn't any other tables.
However the food was excellent we had squid for starters 🐙 then I had Sea bass which I would recommend and my daughter had Risotto which was delicious. Then dessert, Treacle pud and I had Cheesecake.
I would definitely return but ask where I was being seated next time as it's important to me!
Really enjoyed this friendly restaurant on the Fulham Road. Great atmosphere and excellent service. Good selection of dishes and we enjoyed all the main meals we tried...sea bass, monkfish and chicken....well presented and served piping hot.
Been there twice now and both times It was a great night! Very good food, great atmosphere and a nice bar!
Food was very nice. Staff helpful. We were sat down stairs so not so atmospheric as up stairs and we found the acoustics a bit loud. But really enjoyed our night
Loved the pudding and cocktail pairing menu.
What a nice little jewel in Chelsea. I found this before our short trip to London and my entire family was pleased with the result. We had a great starter in the burrata...perfect for sharing. We loved the creativity of the mains...and the food was wonderful (thumbs up on the turkey and jalapeño dressing). We know we will be re-visiting Goat on our next trip to London - locals, don't miss this one.
Bresaola pizza is very nice. Head to the bar upstairs after your meal!
Me and my friend went here for a lovely meal and after went Bad Santa event at the cocktail bar upstairs after which played the best music from the 90's. We were served by a very charming dark haired man who looked after us all night till the early hours of the morning! The cocktails were delicious and I could not fault the food. For our meal we had the steak and turkey and cheesecake to share, which had a nice twist having a gingerbread base. Massive thank you to everyone at GOAT for an amazing evening!
What a dissappointment!
We booked this restaurant to celebrate the 15th bithday of our youngest son, after reading positive reviews on Open Table. The pictures of the restaurant looked good and we thought we had booked a restaurant with a special atmosphere. Instead we experienced one of our blandest and loudest restaurant meals ever. Even the staff had problems taking our orders because of the loud music. We felt we sat in a bar, not in a restaurant.
I also called the restaurant a day before to arrange for a birthday dessert for our son - it never arrived.
Great spot on the Fulham Road for casual and relaxed dining, good food, friendly staff. Have a been here a couple of times now for a quick lunch and just had the pizza, good topping combinations and a nice thin and crispy base, just as I like it. Rest of the menu looks interesting.
Great atmosphere and easy eat/drinks around the neighborhood.
The bar upstairs is a nice place to hang out. The service is good. The food was just okay.
Sunday was organised as myself and one of my best friends both got engaged recently so we booked for the bottomless brunch. We arrived and we're seated by the window up the stairs to the left of the front door. We were pretty much ignored from the second we sat down we had to go to the bar 3 times to ask for drinks, and were not made feel welcome at all. I was really disappointed as the restaurant was not at all busy so there was no excuse for this at all. It was a really uncomfortable disappointing experience.
Amazing! As always, delicious food, great wine and fab ambience.
Not impressed. The food was ok but not outstanding. The service was poor, the lady serving didn't offer extra drinks or desserts the whole time we were there, which meant we ran out of time for the 2hour table allocation time.
Great night with some friends - loved the music mix and the place had a good vibe. Was good value for money and the staff were excellent!
Good evening spent at the restaurant and Prayer Room. Good food, but limited vegetarian options. Prayer Room offers great ambience and cocktails!
The Goat is always great fun. Delicious food and a great atmosphere.
If you go, don't go at weekends. Food was good (when we got the right order - nobody orders chips as a starter...) and our waiter did his best considering he was dealing with an abysmal management system. Too many people trying to be in charge, all seemed to crack under the pressure of a busy shift. Not good enough for South Kensington and the prices you're charging.
Firstly we were given a table big enough for 2, even though we booked for 3 people. 5 different people told us they needed the table back within 2 hours - even when we were eating our mains. We get it - no need to keep reminding us. Took us 45 mins to get starters, and one of us received a side of chips for a starter and was told "that's what you ordered". Then when she finally got it the waiter came over and told us our mains were ready.... Great but we haven't finished starters yet. Then we were assured we had time for desserts but were ushered out within 30 secs of finishing the dessert. Not good enough. Just tell us we don't have time - don't say one thing then do another.
Having been a manager in a top busy restaurant before changing careers, I'm speaking from a place of experience - be honest with your customers and they won't get angry. It's when you tell them one thing and do another that makes them angry. Real shame because we have been looking forward to trying GOAT for ages - but will not be going back, nor advise our friends to try it.
Quite expensive for what you actually receive. Food used to be a lot better here, going downhill!
Given a crap table at first, asked to be moved and was done so without fuss and went on to be a great evening. Can't fault the food, service or ambience.
Breasola pizza was the best we've ever eaten before.
Great lunch with a very good kids club which my 5 yr old loved
My second time being there. Great place to eat. We will definitely be going back again. We got there a bit late due to Saturday evening traffic and it was no trouble. I would recommend Goat as the place to eat if you in London.
Fantastic cocktails, great service and delicious food! Not a single negative comment. We visited Goat on a Saturday evening for our anniversary. We had a cocktail in the main bar, a cocktail in the Prayer Room and then dinner in the restaurant. The cocktail menu is varied and creative, as is the food/wine menu. We both really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was exceptional. We will definitely return to Goat next time we are in the area. Thanks to all of the staff
