GŎNG, the highest hotel bar in Western Europe is perfect for sunset cocktails and late-night drinks. The bar offers 3 lofted areas for guests to relax and soak in the cityscape including unrivaled views of Tower Bridge.
Uncomplicated and seamless, the bar’s first-class service ensures the ultimate escape from the city’s bustle. Sample one of the delicate, signature cocktails or indulge in a rare, vintage champagne with signature sushi and Asian dishes. Guests are required to be 18 years of age or older after 5:30pm.

Window seats are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Please note that there is a £30 minimum spend per person applicable to all guests over the age of 18. All bar reservations will be seated either in Champagne Bar, Cocktail Bar or Sky Pool.
Please note that the Kitchen closes at 22:30 Sunday to Thursday, and 23:30 Friday and Saturday. We currently do not accept OpenTable dining cheques.

Our seating wasn’t the most amazing. I expected me and the other person i brought to enjoy the view for my birthday. Only one of us had a view however it was restricted as the other person I brought was in front of me. They didn’t even get to enjoy the view as such as their back was towards the view. The food was stingy for the price. Straight in with main and dessert. The portion size was extremely unfilling, let alone for 1 person. This was not worth the price we had to pay. We left and had to order takeaway as we were far from satisfied. Very disappointed as it was my birthday.

My friend and I loved our late afternoon cocktails watching the winter sun disappear. Truly pleasurable in all aspects and felt so indulgent. We ordered 2 cocktails each which were accompanied by complimentary olives and nuts. What a wonderful way to spend a Thursday!

The views were absolutely spectacular! It was a shame to not be able to be there for longer than the hour and a half you get at the table to enjoy them more. The food was good and I suppose a price you would expect to pay in such a venue. Cocktails were very nice but rather a steep amount! It was a lovely atmosphere and felt quite cosy particularly with the Christmas decorations about. Definitely a great experience. My son loved it to celebrate his 18th birthday.

Fryer was broken so there were only two choices of hot plates. Very mediocre gyoza, so overall of you don’t eat sushi there was nothing else to eat. Bit of a desert in terms of finding something tasty with so few choices available, even though we were expecting a small light menu, this was so bad that we booked Gaucho whilst sitting there in order to get some actual food. Views are stunning, food is soulless, clearly they’re not looking to create an institution, just somewhere flash to not eat

Amazing views… duuuhhhh Excellent service. Such a nice, energetic, friendly, joyful team we saw on t work!!! We had our son (9) with us and knew we couldn’t stay after 17:30 so the staff friendly reminded us about that policy. The sushi is very nice and our son enjoyed his moshi. Price? Expensive? For the haters…. Try to buy a bar at etage 52 and try to make a bussiness on bears of two pounds ;-) Top experience

I was up in London on business, booked a table for one to see the views from the resturant. I ordered the chefs sharing patter and it was next level, I sat at the bar so had great views of London bridge. Bar staff were great and really chatty Will be returning with the family

Total disaster!!! Very noisy, had to shout to be heard, No menu, had to go on line and the wi-fi was unusable. So we got no food and had to walk out, I was looking forward to going but would never go back , it was an awful embarrassing experience 😡

Si vous êtes indifférent de la qualité de service c’est un endroit à faire. Le GONG est un endroit que je recommanderai si vous souhaitez apprécier la vue et un bon cocktail. Autrement, le service du premier étage jusqu’au dernier est inexistant voir même désagréable et « judgemental”. Selon moi, ce n’est pas un bon rapport qualité/prix et je n’en garde pas un bon souvenir.

Mmmmm! Was obviously a lovely spot for a view over London, and the window package was good. We wanted to order extra on top of that but weirdly there was some issue with 'fried' food not being available so not even truffle fries could be had!! A bit strange, and annoying, for a quite pricey venue - you would think they could sort that out. But no. Still, the view was lovely, even if the window view platter needed supplementing!!

Very good and attentive staff members, very polite and helpful. The venue is clean and well maintained. Brilliant service, my non alcoholic cocktails were excellent, tasted beautifully and the way they were presented was very good. The prices were extremely high. One alcoholic cocktail, the cheapest one was £25 up. Non alcoholic cocktails were £17. Ambience was good, nice, relaxing music, wasn't too loud. The other thing I could complain about was no privacy, tables and chairs close to each other, people looking at others, I didn't feel comfortable, everyone were too close. I understand it's all about the money and the more customers, the better for the business but I felt discomfort due to tables being so close to each other and you could hear the other customers whispering to each other, you could feel their breath. Not nice.

The view and the ambience are amazing. A bit disappointed we have not been given another table after we had to vacate the one we were seated. Me and my date decided to stay a little longer, the Hostess advised we are on the waiting list to be seated. Ordered couple drinks at the bar and chilled there for about an hour, in that timeline could see a few free tables and still haven't been allocated one, so we decided to leave.

Karl/Carl/Kyle was a brilliant host from start to finish. We had problems with downloading menu on phone and pad (perhaps due to internet connectivity). We had a fish/sushi platter, beautiful laid out and very tasty. It was my birthday, so enjoyed the beautiful London skyline. Perfect end to the night 😘

The view from my table was amazing couldn’t take my eyes of the view. The service was absolutely on point, and the drinks were lovely. This was a much better choice than going to the observatory floor.

Service excellent, choice of cocktails fantastic as were the nibbles provided to accompany them. Finding the place and multiple doors and escalators was not most user friendly. Wifi was not working. Overall enjoyed my experience and for me this was more pleasant with fantastic views as I sipped and snacked with professional and accommodating staff. Appreciated the check on how my drink was. Recommend visiting as it moves from light into night for best panoramic views. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing. Service fantastic, felt really special. My 6 year-old was desperate to go to the Shard and this exceeded expectations. Second visit and still felt as special as the first. I love that the staff are professional yet really friendly
