Ordered takeout - a salad, calamari and pizza. Firstly it took us about 5 tries to actually get through to someone and once we did, they were clueless to what was on their menu and I had to spell out what I wanted. When we opened the salad we were shocked to see that this $17 salad was nothing but mixed bagged greens, croutons and an unfortunate dressing. The rest of the food was mediocre, but the overall experience was awful. When I contacted them via facebook they friend to tell me salad is objective and that it's my fault I did not enjoy their food. I DO NOT recommend. If you are in the area, Andiamo Pasta Plus & Mondello are a much better dining experience.

For starters, the place is not kind friendly, and has no kids menu or choices simple enough for a kid's palette. The appetizer was good (calamri), and the I proceeded to order their Braciola di Carne alla Napoletana, and it was awful. Veal overcooked & dry, barely a hint of the ingredients mentioned except for a very bitter rapini which dominated the plate to the point of making it unedible. The menus not easy to read because the titles are only in Italian so you need to read the full description to know what it is. The server was not friendly at all, did not come to check if the food was good or not, had this sarcastic smile on him, and when he came to pick up the plates, he did not even question the fact that my plate was barely touched. I would not recommend this place for a family, too expensive for the taste & service provided, and feels fake.

First time I came here the service was great but the second time, the service was okay not fantastic. The server could be more cheerful like he liked working there. And the menu did not have a lot of options for vegetarians. I know it's an italian restaurant but they should still have some better options.

Excellent menu selection, good value. Good presentation. Food was excellent, hot and the appropriate level of attention by staff. A definite repeat. Looking forward to trying a variety of options on the menu.

Whilst we were dining they played authentic old tunes from Italy/Europe - circa 1950's. My dad was in heaven hearing tunes long forgotten. The service was great, food outstanding if a little pricey for some items. Would recommend and to reserve as it was really busy even though it was in the "quiet zone" between lunch and dinner on a Sunday.

Food was great as always. We were there for a birthday party and our table was at the entrance where the door was. Everyone was freezing for most of the night. We requested the party far in advance so we would have enjoyed a more secluded table farther from the door. However, everyone was so
Impressed with the food and we will definitely be back! Thanks!

We reserved a table online, walked in, got seated right away and had a WONDERFUL meal. The food was excellent, the service was amazing. Our meal was delicious - came all the way from the east end of Toronto to try it out, and it was worth it.

As they said.....Forghetta Bout It, hands down the best traditional Italian thin crust pizza place around. Authentic flavours and ambiance make this the closest pizza you'll be able to find less a flight to Napoli.

I took my wife and kids for dinner and we all enjoyed it. The grilled octopus appetizer is amazing and worth trying if you love seafood. The pizzas are out of this world. Depending on the size of your appetite, you may need to share a pizza.
The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and always checking back with us every few minutes.
We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for great pizza.

Keep up the great work,

I was not particularly happy about the table I was given as I had made reservation well in advance , we were then certainly accommodated by Roco and moved to different table , a table you would expect when you made a reservation , Thank you for that !

We went for the Cazone which turned out to be average. But, we really like the grill octopus recommended by the waiter. It's was really busy on Friday night, but. Ambience was really pleasant. It would be better if there wer a live band. -:)

Perfect lunch spot. Pizza Marguerita was authentic with perfect light and supple crust. Beef tenderloin stew fast becoming a favourite comfort dish, like virtually everything on the menu!

We have been to this place many times and have previously order grilled shrimps, calamari and octopus and they were perfectly grilled but this is not the case in our latest visit. They were all over-grilled specially the octopus which was so tough. We love going to this place but I hope this is not the sign of things to come since there are not many good places to eat and dine around streetsville.

We were given a gift card to try this spot. Had the calamari app to share, very nice. Had a little arugula salad with it and the calamari were done very well. We each had a small pizza. Quite good but a little salty in the dough, it seemed. Wine was fine - all the Reds priced at same price which didn't do some of them justice. Easier bookkeeping I suspect.

We will return and try some more menu items.

I am always looking for an excuse to visit Goodfella's. Some say it might be a tad pricey but it is worth it, we always order too much but then we get to take it home with us, so we get to enjoy it again the next day.

My only challenge with Goodfella's is that - if you book a large group you have to leave a credit card number and agree to a minimum charge... I arrange a lot of parties/friends nights out and I haven't been able to bring my party to Goodfella's because of this. I understand why they do it, but we spend a lot of money monthly on food and drink so feel that Goodfella's is missing out on this. I know the wait list for tables is long so maybe they feel they don't need to cater to larger parties, but I think this is a great shame.

It was very unfortunate that a really good evening was destroyed by a cocky server who did not really want to be there just after Christmas. My only advise to him would be, if you don't like working busy days, then DON'T!. It is your choice. But if you do select to work a busy evening, then don't make the experience miserable for your patrons..

We've eaten here frequently. Let's say, 6 times. We've only had great service twice, the rest of the times the service was meh....like our visit recently. Server brought the wrong wine, which we had to wait a while for....then finally the correct wine. No bread, we had to ask for it. When it was time for the food, two of the entrees were incorrect and in fact, for the table beside us....and one of our guests had to wait a long time for her Gnocchi dish, we were almost finished our food when hers arrived.

Not happy, but the pizza is amazing.

I have been waiting to try out Goodfellas for a while and finally got a chance a couple of days ago. First impression, place it small but beautifully decorated- Definitely has a charm to it. Everyone in the restaurant was helpful and kind and most importantly the food was reallllly good. A must try for all Foodies 😋

While everything was really tasty, our party of 3 found the salads to be a bit pricey for what we got, especially the caprese salad. $20 for one large piece of mozzarella seems a little steep. We LOVED the rice balls and will definitely return for more soon.

My family took me here for my birthday and although the food is on the pricier side, it is well worth the money. The wood oven pizza's and fresh pasta's are the best! The amount of detail and flavour that goes into the food is incredible. It makes you feel like you sat down in a restaurant in Italy. Everything on the menu is so authentic and rustic! Also if you have the chance try the tiramisu dessert, to die for!

One suggestion, maybe they could offer a lunch menu on the cheaper side with smaller portions. Although the pizza is a "personal" pizza it is enough for 2-3 people.

Definitely will be coming back!

Rushing service. If you are close to the end of your server's shift you will have to pay your bill while still eating. This is because your server wants the tip! Then they add tip amount to your non group individual bill so you have no choice of changing the amount. I've heard of this for a group bill but for the individual is a bit strange. You will also have to remind your server several times about your drink order. Overall, food is ok but service is way below the standard.
Good appetite!

The title of this review might be a bit much, but it really happened. I reserved for 6, arrived on time (myself) and waited for the others. I was seated and served some water, but was not offered a drink (or anything) for a full 20 minutes. When the waiter did finally come and others were there, I mentioned the fact of perhaps wanting a beer to start. He described the beer choices and not thinking I wanted one of these, he gave me a wine list and left - not asking the others if they wanted anything at all.

Perhaps the waiter was new, perhaps he was distracted, but overall I was unimpressed and was just hoping to get through the evening without letting my anger ruin the evening.

We ordered and when the food came, it was presented beautifully, was served in a reasonable amount of time and was accurate. Once we tried our own (or tasted others), I was in love with the place. The food was amazing!

Two standout dishes were the grilled octopus dinner and the pesto gnocchi with grilled chicken.

The decor and ambiance of the place was also first rate. I am hoping that we just got a waiter on a bad day.

I am looking forward to returning and trying their pizza and other delicious looking entrees.

Food:
One of the persons in my party had asked for rabbit which is on the menu. Once everybody had gotten their orders at the table this person is told rabbit is not available. She ordered something else and we all waited for her to get hers to stat eating our food which at the end was cold.
Service:
The incident described above and then having to wait for dessert and then again too much wait to get the bill. Too many people from the crew walking around and talking among themselves but not taking care of guests.
Noise Level:
Music was excessively loud. We understand that the restaurant wants to have an Italian atmosphere but loud music does not necessarily portray that but a chaotic place run by everybody and nobody.

We absolutely loved our food. The pizza was awesome and so were our salads. Our server was attentive. Unforunately I have to say the kitchen was not able to meet the demands of the full restaurant. We ordered well in advance of several other groups and were last to receive our meal. Perhaps it was just a seasonal issue. I am certainly willing to try it again.

The wood fired pizzas are best anywhere in the GTA! Service is always friendly, cozy atmosphere but not too loud. Book early though as it's a hot spot and trying to pop in after work on a weekend evening will leave you admiring the atmosphere and mouth watering dishes from the side streets.
