Great good, love the spicy chicken burger. Staff always extremely nice.
It's really not spectacular for a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and for the price.
Overall not bad but expected more! Ordered a pretty simple breakfast and our toast was basically soggy bread which somewhat ruined the “eggs on toast” combo. Probably won’t come back for breakfast - might try a dinner here as the street is lovely!
The avocado was old
My hamburger was small and not tasty
We both ended up with Alka seltzer and still feeling unwell today
Really enjoyable evening and great food! Service with a smile and not a long waiting time between courses
Absolutely wonderful food and service was fantastic! Staff went out of their way to look after us and the food was perfect! Despite the challenging weather outside we were very comfortable and warm enough under a heater. Blankets were also supplied that were needed and wrapped around legs for warmth. Thankfully we finished before the rain arrived.
Service was amazing. The 2 hosts were great. Thankyou
the food menu is limited with a lack of variety. wish weekend breakfast can be extend to late noon
Fantastic food and service throughout
Not enough outside heaters for outside dining.
3 wines we asked for were not available
They didn’t even have enough wine glasses for the bottle of wine we ordered.
This restaurant has been and can be much better. We appreciate the difficulties of running service at this time but hope this restaurant will return to its former glory soon.
Terrible Caesar salad. Small portion and rough. Chicken burger ok. Not great. Tough chicken. Not a nice atmosphere. Maybe because it’s a small pavement outside. And pretty expensive for what it was
Restaurant is situated on the sunny side of the street. Very simple menu but food was delicious.
Sadly they had run out of French rose!
I had specifically asked for a table next door to the heaters as I was taking my elderly aunts to lunch. Nothing was ready when we arrived but they soon accomodated us.
Very good food, a little pricey though, especially the steak
The staff felt annoyed as we only ordered drinks.
They made mojitos for us, which didn't taste like it had any alcohol in it. Tasted like mint sparkling water!
This also cost nearly £30 for 2 horrible cocktails.
Won't be going back.
We had a great time!
The service was amazing and the food was very tasty...
Delicious food, so nice to sit out in the sun
Service fine, but just a bit too expensive for an average burrata and two steak frites, and three house drinks...I would expect such a lunch to be say, £35a head inc a drink, not £65!!
Disappointing wine, poor service and over-priced food given the average quality
Anniversary meal - steak for 2 - FANTASTIC FOOD!
A bit overpriced to sit outside in the cold for a couple of steaks. It’s a shame they haven’t invested in more heaters to make diners more comfortable. That being said, the steaks were good and the Portuguese wine recommendation was very nice with it. Not sure we would go back though as it seems like we were paying for the celebrity chef name more than any real value.
Wait staff were brilliant. I think we should have waited until we could sit inside. Sitting outside in the cold and rain with no heaters wasn’t a nice experience. Not the fault of the restaurant.
Very expensive and the quality of food was not up to standard.
It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.
Only lacked ambience due to social distancing but was lovely all the same.
Good afternoon lunch with the family. They provide halal steak and chicken which was great. Good service and tasty food.
The food was really disappointing. Steaks were fatty and came covered in grease. The salad was also swimming in an oily dressing and the French fries were soggy. The starters were good. But at these prices the overall food needed to be much better. The wine list is also poor value. I could have gone to Cote for a slightly better meal at half the price
We were really looking forward to Maze Grill but unfortunately it wasn't a night to remember. Everything was just OK. We splashed out on the Beef Wellington at £84 plus tax and 15% service charge! Very very average, nothing to remember other than the price. Mashed potato nice and buttery, but to be honest haven't had a bad mashed potato anywhere....pretty hard to get wrong. Tiny bowl of veg was poor, which yes you had to pay extra for. I'm happy to 'invest' in a good meal but guys this does not live up to the price you are charging. Really sorry but disappointing.
Everything was great.
The service was perfect. Our table was not ready so they offered us beers on the house. It was our wedding anniversary so we had a surprise cake at the end of the dinner. It was a very nice experience!
Disappointing. I won’t go back. Limited choice on the menu. Thankfully, the food we ordered was nice but was expensive.
You can pay less for tastier food in a trendy restaurant.
Our waiter served our mains before our starters. I felt I shouldn’t have paid for the service but was happy to help the restaurant that might have struggled due to Covid-19.
I found out later that this restaurant holds a Michelin star. I was shocked as the service and the quality of the food and the service didn’t meet the expectations.
Had a really great meal and really good value. It had atmosphere but with plenty of social distancing - made you feel very safe in a discreet way. Only observation - the wine is pretty expensive. Would definitely go again
Didn’t have half the food on the menu. We picked the restaurant because we wanted something specific. Had hardly any desserts available from the menu. Was loud atmosphere with dogs and babies so was definitely not what we expected. Staff were okay but didn’t do anything special. Was charged for water but not aware of this until the end. We would’ve been happy with tap water, not spending £4.50 on a bottle!
Sushi starters were lovely. Both Sirloin & Fillet steaks were well cooked and very tender but needed more seasoning. Service was very slow, perhaps due to covid. Ambience and setting was lovely. Would recommend.
Amazing food and great service
Food and service were both outstanding! Can’t wait to be back!!
Hi Marta, thank you very much for your nice review! We are glad you enjoyed your experience with us. We hope to see you again soon! Maze Grill Team
Good food and service.
Great friendly service, especially now during the covid days the stuff keeps things safe, yet inviting. The Love London was great :)
The food was good however the service was very poor. It was just us and one other table in the whole restaurant at 5pm and the staff pretty much ignored us for the whole meal, no one asked us how anything was and considering I’d told them that it was my partners birthday I thought they would at least have cleaned the table between courses, it’s was covered with crumbs etc and they just left it like that. Would have literally taken 1 minute to do so. Food also had a piece of blue plastic in it and needed recooking which I know can happen. Being a Gordon Ramsay restaurant I expected more.
It was a lovely lunch, sadly quiet because of covid
