Disappointing wine, poor service and over-priced food given the average quality

A bit overpriced to sit outside in the cold for a couple of steaks. It’s a shame they haven’t invested in more heaters to make diners more comfortable. That being said, the steaks were good and the Portuguese wine recommendation was very nice with it. Not sure we would go back though as it seems like we were paying for the celebrity chef name more than any real value.

Wait staff were brilliant. I think we should have waited until we could sit inside. Sitting outside in the cold and rain with no heaters wasn’t a nice experience. Not the fault of the restaurant.

Very expensive and the quality of food was not up to standard.

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.

Only lacked ambience due to social distancing but was lovely all the same.

Good afternoon lunch with the family. They provide halal steak and chicken which was great. Good service and tasty food.

The food was really disappointing. Steaks were fatty and came covered in grease. The salad was also swimming in an oily dressing and the French fries were soggy. The starters were good. But at these prices the overall food needed to be much better. The wine list is also poor value. I could have gone to Cote for a slightly better meal at half the price

We were really looking forward to Maze Grill but unfortunately it wasn't a night to remember. Everything was just OK. We splashed out on the Beef Wellington at £84 plus tax and 15% service charge! Very very average, nothing to remember other than the price. Mashed potato nice and buttery, but to be honest haven't had a bad mashed potato anywhere....pretty hard to get wrong. Tiny bowl of veg was poor, which yes you had to pay extra for. I'm happy to 'invest' in a good meal but guys this does not live up to the price you are charging. Really sorry but disappointing.

Everything was great.

The service was perfect. Our table was not ready so they offered us beers on the house. It was our wedding anniversary so we had a surprise cake at the end of the dinner. It was a very nice experience!

Disappointing. I won’t go back. Limited choice on the menu. Thankfully, the food we ordered was nice but was expensive.
You can pay less for tastier food in a trendy restaurant.
Our waiter served our mains before our starters. I felt I shouldn’t have paid for the service but was happy to help the restaurant that might have struggled due to Covid-19.
I found out later that this restaurant holds a Michelin star. I was shocked as the service and the quality of the food and the service didn’t meet the expectations.

Had a really great meal and really good value. It had atmosphere but with plenty of social distancing - made you feel very safe in a discreet way. Only observation - the wine is pretty expensive. Would definitely go again

Didn’t have half the food on the menu. We picked the restaurant because we wanted something specific. Had hardly any desserts available from the menu. Was loud atmosphere with dogs and babies so was definitely not what we expected. Staff were okay but didn’t do anything special. Was charged for water but not aware of this until the end. We would’ve been happy with tap water, not spending £4.50 on a bottle!

Sushi starters were lovely. Both Sirloin & Fillet steaks were well cooked and very tender but needed more seasoning. Service was very slow, perhaps due to covid. Ambience and setting was lovely. Would recommend.

Great friendly service, especially now during the covid days the stuff keeps things safe, yet inviting. The Love London was great :)

The food was good however the service was very poor. It was just us and one other table in the whole restaurant at 5pm and the staff pretty much ignored us for the whole meal, no one asked us how anything was and considering I’d told them that it was my partners birthday I thought they would at least have cleaned the table between courses, it’s was covered with crumbs etc and they just left it like that. Would have literally taken 1 minute to do so. Food also had a piece of blue plastic in it and needed recooking which I know can happen. Being a Gordon Ramsay restaurant I expected more.

Cauliflower was amazing burger was amazing but steak not so good, children’s meal was a little disappointing.

Service was terrible , 40 min to get a drink and same for the food. The chicken was all bones and covered in aweful sauce. Overall it was terrible and am so dissapointed , would expexted better from Gordon Ramsey .

Really lovely staff, delicious food, just what you would expect

It’s not my first time at this restaurant but it’s my first time eating out since the lockdown . It’s nice to be out and be among people . Service and stuff were great and food was amazing. Better in every way than his Mayfair restaurant.

We had the Love London Menu - only disappointing thing was the steak was reallyyyyyyyy tough!! Wouldn’t have expected that from such a chic place 🙈 staff and drinks were fab ❤️❤️ but steak really was the only let down

I think our expectations were a little higher with this being a Ramsay establishment. Food is good but not exceptional.

Food was okay, priced as expected. The service was somewhat lack lustre - not sure if they were short staffed.

I took my husband for his BIG birthday hoping it was going to be special. The food was very average, the steak was very chewy, the chocolate cake was just ok. They forgot the birthday candle I requested well in advance. Dear Gordon, if you read this, please do your Kitchen nightmare program at this restaurant.

I went here for my birthday with my boyfriend, the manager was LOVELY, made my dining 10/10! Food was great! So was the atmosphere! Will definitely be going back, we loved it!
