Relaxed dining area. Simple but delicious menu choices and great value!
The restaurant is quite basic with a cosy atmosphere. It was a Saturday night and there was a DJ playing which was unusual but not unpleasant.
The burgers are good but nothing to write home about. The sides are generous and tasty and there are enough options to satisfy most tastes.
Best for a younger crowd.
We liked it there so much. The food is delicious, the service is fast, and everyone is lovely.
Pleasant atmosphere, good location, food was tasty and well presented. Drinks were reasonably priced if you upgrade from bottomless soft drinks. Might double up the burger next time.
Not sure about the very limited menu but that was not the main issue.
The food was overcooked in my opinion. The burger was quite dry, despite me asking for it to be less well done.
TOO LOUD!! Even the servers thought the music was totally intrusive. My friend and I could not wait to get out and find somewhere quiet, so we could chat. Perhaps this is a conscious attempt to reduce table-time? If so, it certainly works!
We will go back to Honest Burger next time.
Great food and service. Probably one of the best burgers you’ll ever have, especially if you go for the wagyu upgrade. Portions are on the small side and prices are on the higher end. Expected I guess. Good experience overall. Would come back
A really vibrant restaurant in the heart of Reading Town Centre. I've been to many Gordon Ramsay restaurants & this one is just as good! Highly recommend!
The Burger space is very crowded now and there are a few options in Reading, but thought give this a try. Like street food not much choice but we had 6 burger options, we tried 3 and the burgers where good, buns were cold like out of a fridge so that was strange, the cocktails were lacking in kick and the tin of Perioni was way over priced. Fries were great but thought the price when you include the service charge was too far too much for what it was.... spent 10 mins with the manager trying understand our bill; it was an experience, but no 5 Guys, nice try Gordon but i won't be back in a hurray.
I’m amazed that Gordon wants his name associated with this venue which is tired and unexciting.
We all now expect reduced menus and I completely understand the reasoning behind this as financially a venture needs to be viable.
The small menu therefore needs to deliver a top quality product which it fell short of with all 4 meals. When the bun is left to soak up all the content juices it becomes a soggy mess. Not unpalatable but almost needing a spoon to finish the complete the meal.
Condiments served is a minimum amount and unlimited drink refills were a joke. The smallest of glasses were given which means you are up and down from the table throughout the meal as well as glasses being taken away from customers ordering wine. Given the menu Is all in with food and unlimited non alcoholic drinks for all it was a tad mean to think those drinking and paying extra for would not want a soft drink as well.
Good feedback is deserved by our waiter who tried extremely hard to make the experience as best as the surroundings and food would allow.
Great food, really fast service. Waiters really helpful .
Everything was great apart from the music being far too loud
Didn't expect to get charged for the birthday treat they brought but never mind...it was a nice surprise Service was great, food was great, music was very loud so difficult to hold a conversation with anyone...yes I am probably classed as old compared to the majority of people in there but I am not hard of hearing in any way and the young members felt it wasn't too loud as well. Overall a lovely evening...you should go there and try it.
The food and staff were great. The music was so loud however that you could not talk over it.
We Had a very lovely birthday meal for my boyfriend and his friends, the food and drink was lovely! The staff were lovely and service was amazing, we brought in our own birthday cake and at the end of the meal the staff brought it to the table with candles on it and even joined in singing happy birthday! One of the best burgers I have had! Thank you to all the staff for making it such a lovely evening x
Very friendly staff and lovely ambience. The food was great and manager Joel went above and beyond. Will definitely go again
Meeting a new team at work so took them to Street Burger, it was simple straight forward, for everyone which was great. The place looked great and the service too.
Everyone enjoyed and mentioned how good it was.
The veggie burger and the sweet potatoe fries were excellent. I found the onion rings a little too greasy but the rest was perfect.
The service was quick and our waiter was really nice. Overall I loved the food and we had a really good experience !
We’re street burger regulars and every time we’ve been in the food has been incredible and the staff are always amazing but this time the food just wasn’t as good. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the same standard as it usually is.
That being said everyone that works there was amazing, especially Mac who served our table!
Service was excellent! Staff are very friendly and helpful! Food was delicious
Although the overall experience was ok, I was disappointed as I was expecting so much more. As a food enthusiast and someone who knows a good burger, I must say the wagyu patty was extraordinarily ordinary- it was rather dry and didn’t taste like real wagyu- I think it was over cooked.
When pointing this out to our waiter the manager was informed but unfortunately he didn’t come out to speak to us.
The fries and onion rings were fantastic but unfortunately the main event itself was a bit of a let down. We had higher expectations of something that Gordon Ramsey is putting his name to and I do think the 5 guys burgers are better.
Grat service, our waiter was very attentive & explained everything very clearly. Food was amazing (who doesn't love a messy burger)
So nice to have Vegan options. Best Vegan burger I've ever had. So good. Staff were lovely, quick service, fresh tasty food. Good value for money, simple but effective menu.
Very good burgers but it is a must to upgrade to wagyu as so much nicer. Burgers aren’t huge and chip portion small but food great quality and would visit again.
Burger was pretty good, but better out there. The bill was confusing and the waiters were friendly and helpful but got cocktails wrong and weren’t able to tell the difference in burgers when delivered. I’m sure it’ll get better and may try again, but prefer honest burgers or five guys in Reading
The BAE burger was amazing. Gluten free knowledge of waitress was outstanding. Staff faultless.
Fantastic food, service was great and atmosphere brilliant!!
A lovely meal and excellent friendly service.
Love the champagne by the glass!
Great atmosphere. Staff enthusiastic and friendly. Burgers really good. Billing system when ordering alcohol a bit confusing. Would’ve preferred more of a full bar. Give desserts a miss.
Chips were amazing. Only problem with the pattie was the lack of salt and pepper.
Included in the £15 is a burger, chips and a soft drink which is refillable as many times as you want.
Food came out cold and undercooked. Burgers did not have much flavour, disappointing
Music very loud, but staff and food amazing 5
Casual dining experience the mistake I made was going on opening day music level was so high not possible to converse so had to sit outside.
Disappointed with burger although meat quality was great bun was cold and volume small only have a bag of fries and why serve everything in 300 ml glades not great for a beer or wine constant refills.
The branding is good an urban design but a fad place won’t last
