Best place in limehouse! One of my favourite restaurant in east london
Great experience, service and delicious food!
Excellent staff, trained on a very high level. Food was good, the scotch egg was not great (have the one at Rosewood Hotel Holborn and you know what I mean) so food wise quite overpriced. Location is cozy but low rent and therefore the food pricing is just bad.
The food was fantastic however - I had an absolutely terrible cocktail Le Grand Fizz which tasted of nothing but soda water and when I complained to the waiter he was really unhelpful acted as if there was nothing he could do and still charged me 10 pounds for it ... so I could have had a better experience the fish and chips delicious though
Loved this place, the best roast I have ever had! I had beef my wife had lamb, both were delicious.
Service was brilliant everyone did a fantastic job, thank you!
Will be back for sure!
The noisy and crude stag party next to our table nearly ruined completely the whole experience.
Sad they allow drunks in.
Had to wait for our food for an hour and the waiter only offered to comp our drinks after we requested it. Atmosphere is not great - not cozy
Food was terrible!
Brilliant value for lunch menu - 2 courses for 2 people at £30.00. A little too hot for us in the conservatory but it had a great view with good food. I didn't quite understand why they cramped us in a small table when the place was not full. Service was otherwise good and attentive.
A beautiful location along the river with excellent service provided. The food is OK, nothing special.
Underwhelming. Felt a bit tired in terms of the decor. Relaxed which was nice. Food was good.
Efficient and effective
We went with our son after he had run the London marathon. It was heaving outside and the music was very loud. It was a struggle to get in.
I chose this place as one of our party is a lactose free vegetarian and the online menu had options for them. The menu that day consisted of 3 choices per course. There was a vegan/vegetarian nut roast They chose the vegan option. This came with the same Yorkshire pudding as our beef and the gravy looked suspiciously the same.
The tomato soup looked like someone had squeezed a tomato into hot water and then sloshed some olive oils do blob of cream into it. The greasy mixture tasted as It looked.
The crumble had been heated up in the microwave. It was edible
The beef was nicely cooked and that’s as positive as I can get.
The poor food and deafening noise made for a very disappointing end to a momentous day
We aren’t local so it won’t be difficult not to make a special effort to return
Not good enough Gordon
Nice food, excellent staff but a bit overpriced...
It is a bit pricey and the food portions are quite small. Other then that absolutely fine. The staff and service was outstanding. It's definitely worth it to go. It was maybe a bit cold outside as it got darker but the ambience and the view was amazing.
A unique and interesting location makes this an exciting place to enjoy an evening out. Staff is polite and helpful, and very knowledgeable. The dinner menu is both balanced and accommodating with good options for both vegetarians and those who prefer meat/fish. The seafood especially was well received at our table.
Keep in mind that the best tables are likely to get booked first, and that the panoramic view of the Thames is an important part of the experience here. Asking for one of these tables specifically could be a good idea, if possible. Also, having some extra time before/after the visit itself is worth considering: The Limehouse/Regent’s canal area lends itself to good walks when the weather cooperates :)
The food was good, and the view was just amazing.
Great food, attentive personal service, amazing location. Hosted a dinner party for 6 here last night and will definitely book again.
Unfortunately, there was a problem with the gas in the kitchen, which meant that there were delays and the pork belly that some of us had was not properly cooked. Everybody else's food was fine and we were given free desserts to compensate. The staff were most apologetic and very helpful.
Had a beautiful Beef Sunday roast and the cauliflower cheese, the food was so tasty and the Yorkshire pudding amazing. Had a berry crumble desert which was perfect
Lovely pub/restaurant,great outdoor space for the summertime with great views of the Thames.
Food was excellent & service was outstanding.
Will definitely be visiting again.
Had a lovely time at The Narrow with my parents and boyfriend. They had even prepared a little surprise pudding because we were there for special occasions. Highly recommend it!
Great venue, a bit overpriced!
Love this place! Been lots, never disappoints, nice staff, great food, amazing view.
One thing I wish they did was to change the menu a bit more often, or have more specials.
Always love to come here on a Sunday with my boyfriend. Food is outstanding.
Roast lamb was lacking lamb! It only had one small slice!
Went for the newly launched breakfast.
Good produce, well cooked, though could do with black pudding as an option for the full English. Tiny bit expensive but great service from Shami and others and well worth repeating.
We went for a lovely breakfast - reasonably priced, slightly odd chewy toast, but with generous serves of halloumi and spinach, and PERFECT poached eggs. Couldn't fault the service - friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Great view of the water.
The only wrinkle was that the host obviously didn't check us in on OpenTable, so got a 'missed reservation' email afterwards. But regardless, will definitely be back.
The food was amazing! Full of flavour and the right portion size. Our waiter was excellent, knew the menu well and was attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommended
Another fab Sunday lunch at our favourite local! Brilliant gluten free options.
since we started using our london residence we have dined at the narrow several times and i have the occasional pint as it is our local
the food is outstanding, the staff and service are really friendly and as a near neighbour we have never been disturbed by noise
a great place to eat and drink.excellent value
well done to the team
Great views and atmosphere.
Encore un restaurant de Gordon Ramsay’s qui restera dans ma mémoire. Serveur et serveuse au top. Cadre magnifique. Une ambiance chic et décontracte je reviendrais surement leur de mon prochain voyage a londres.
great location and perfect service, however big prices for small portions. don’t get me wrong, still left with a full belly.
Early in the evening not everything was available on the menu. The food arrived cold and had to be replaced. Not worthy of the name, Gordon Ramsey!
Amazing restaurant with a river view and very nice food
I’ve eaten at the Narrow twice now. Both times I really enjoyed it. The location on the Thames is great, particularly at night when there are fabulous views of Canary Wharf in one direction and the Shard in the other. The real stand-out is the service. The waiting staff are friendly and expert. Nothing is too much and one never feels judged. The food is very good, beautifully presented and very tasty. Usual small portions but I was full after three courses. The restaurant is a short walk from Limehouse Station, so very accessible. Recommended.
Great experience at the restaurant,
We had a great time having dinner by the river. The place is cosy and serves decent food, however they could pay a bit more attention to the details of the venue. Sadly, both lavatories, ladies and gents, were missing toliet paper :(
Great service accommodating a group of 7. The menu was small, but reflected a good variety of options and the food came beautifully presented. Nice location on the river!
