Outside tables are on a first-come-first-served basis and cannot be booked.
Limited menu but great and very authentic Italian food. Would certanly visit again.
Gotto is a relaxed spot for tasty pizzas and pastas that make you feel like you could be in Italy
Starters clearly fried in hot, fresh oil, and good mushroom risotto and pizza. Very good light lunch before a visit to the London Stadium (10 minutes).
Lovely spot on the River Lea in exciting East London. Friendly service and good value food.
Fantastic, beautifully delicious, uncomplicated Italian food. The service is great, the restaurant has a wonderful friendly feel, and the outdoor seating area is lovely in good weather. One of the best tiramisu is town.
Amazing food, lovely staff, great location.
Will definitely visit again. Thank you
The lamb meatballs were divine. Squid was good. We ordered the paccheri pasta. It was nice and fresh. One of the best tiramisu's ever. The chef and waitstaff friendly.
Very good Italian restaurant.
We were three italia’s friends and we enjoyed a lot eat there.
Delicious, rustic pasta dishes (paccheri, gnocchi). Everyone at our table enjoyed their plates. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great outdoor seating in the sun by the canal. Will be back!
Really lovely meal with excellent service. Tried this restaurant based on other good reviews and 100% agree, definitely worth a visit.
Food was ok, service ok - overall ok.
Generally the food at Gotto is very good; simple homely Italian cooking. A few points on atmosphere could be improved - the music wasn't very relaxing, and the space is a bit long and thin. Service was good.
Going to Six Day London at the Velodrome which is less than 10 minutes away ...unusual but still very Italian menu. I never eat a fully vegetarian meal but I actually decided to try the bruschettina with smoked cheese and courgette (nice) then the fregola pasta with butternut squash, goats cheese and crispy cavalo nero (delicious). Home made vermouth good too and our carafe of red house wine. Staff super friendly .
We loved this place so much the first time we returned for more. Lovely food, lovely setting, efficient staff, great value...would return again and again.
This was our second visit to Gotto on a warm evening so we sat outside.
We ordered some small plates, calamares, picorino, lightly battered courgettes (thought the latter was not as good as last time).
The home made dry vermouth was very good and the house wine very reasonably priced.
A nice casual restaurant serving good quality food.
Fantastic food and occasion. Friends were very impressed. 3rd visit in a month and will be returning.
Really good quality of food, generous quantity and great service. In summer is so lovely to eat in the terrace facing the canal. I will definitely come back!
Great Brunch - tasty and a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
Restaurant was lovely and open next to the canal. not too busy for a Saturday night with attentive staff. Only minor issue was that we orders a carafe of prosecco and were only served half of it. They immediately amended the bill with no fuss. Definitely coming back!!
Food was simple, tasty and rustic southern Italian. Burrata was a particular highlight and is apparently flown in from Puglia weekly. Was disappointed that they had run out of a couple of dishes we wanted to order, which is frustrating when the menu is relatively short anyway. Loved sitting outside near the canal on a lovely warm evening. Service was friendly and efficient although it did take a while for one of our starters to come out, and sometimes it was hard to attract attention. Overall value was good and I would definitely go back.
