Great food, great atmosphere. We had a couple of wine flights plus dinner - everything was fantastic.

I appreciated the attentive service and plentiful space to enjoy our meal given covid. However, we were surprised that we didn’t love the food. The potato gnocchi appetizer and duck were the stand out items. However, the duck’s sides fell flat, the blue cheese dates were a strange pairing, the bread wasn’t great, the pasta was just fine, and the creme brûlée was average. The tab was steep with drinks and almost everything we ate was just average.

The service, wine and appetizers were all above average. Unfortunately, we came for the food and the ambiance. The entree's were disappointing and, although I was on a date and it was mentioned at reservation time, we were sat next to a family of 5 that consisted of 2 small children (they were loud). We asked to move almost immediately and we were accommodated, but the family was very loud. Not the fault of the restaurant, just thought I'd mention it.

Good but not great scallops, and butternut squash soup a little too sweet. Good service and safe seating indoors.

Amazing service, waitress was super knowledgeable about the wines and food pairings. Each dish was great and we enjoyed the wine she recommended as well as their craft cocktails. Can't wait to go back!

Food was excellent and place was empty for my 4:15 reservation. Burger appeared tasted nicely charred on grill but was still very juicy and flavorful.

Celebrated hubby’s birthday there this past week. Def noticed the COVID impact on the Restaurant, feeling sad for them. But at the same, even in this difficult time, this restaurant keep their foods fresh , wine selections up to date and the service was impeccable! Everything we ordered was delicious . Will return. Please all, support our local businesses, let’s ride through this pandemic together.

During these covid times, they were very responsible and respectful of everyone's space. They sat the three of us at a large table with plenty of social distancing between us. We started off with Tuna then onto dinner. The steak frites was delicious, duck was amazing, and risotto with seared salmon looked great. I ended with a chocolate mouse that was outstanding. Will be going back next time I am in the Arlington area.

First time here to celebrate birthday which was mentioned in my reservation. Ordered a flight wine which they mixed up the order so I didn’t know definitively which wine I was drinking. Waiter was not knowledgeable about what wine was what. Nothing special was done from the restaurant for the birthday reservation, ex: comp’ing my dessert. I was disappointed in the chocolate mousse in a tall cup. I was expecting a Torte which is displayed on the website. Not a great experience for a birthday dinner.

Great food as always - expensive and small portion sizes but that's pretty typical of French restaurants and this one is no exception. We sat outside and had to wear jackets as they didn't have their heat lamps set up yet. Hopefully they will do that soon as they have an awesome outdoor seating area in a courtyard setting. Works great anytime but particularly during Covid.

We enjoyed a balmy evening enjoying dinner with our friends. We really love the ambiance - especially the lights on the unbrellas. Nice touch! We felt like a private party enjoying each other, the food and a most lovely evening. The service is pretty good as is the food. This is a neighborhood favorite and we are just glad they can keep their doors open during Covid.

Grand Cru's food and service are always great -- and it has the best outdoor dining setting that we have found during the pandemic.

It was an incredible restaurant for those who very much enjoy wine. So many choices, from individual glasses to wine flights. Great service, fantastic food, exotic wines. Marvelous for my first date

I love this place. A hidden gem. The food is amazing. We had the fondue to start then I had the rock fish (divine) and my husband had the braised short rib. There was nothing left on our plates which has to be a good sign! I have only given a “good” for the ambience because of the necessity of social distancing. This restaurant has to full and busy to appreciate it even more. Despite that, the lights were lowered which added to the ambience

Great outdoor dining with fabulous wine and food. The cocktails were great too!

This is our neighborhood place for meetups. The menu has something for everyone and they have a beautiful outdoor area with just the right number of tables. There is a fountain nearby and that adds to the ambiance.
Our service wasn’t up to par this time but perhaps they had some folks out sick. One never knows what’s happening behind the scenes.

Lovely evening outdoors, we could almost forget there is a pandemic. The wine was wonderful, the crab cakes too salty.

Food was ok. I can't believe they charge for bread. Service was good and price point was moderate.

Ask if someone wants the check before just bringing it. I ordered a $100 bottle of wine, had dinner, and then, as it appeared it was gonna rain, I asked to move inside. The waitress looked at her phone and said “well it looks like it’ll be about 30 minutes before the rain comes” so I ordered desert. By the time dessert was over she simply brought the check. Keep in mind this was at 7:15pm nowhere near closing time. That’s unacceptable and a real disappointment considering I spent over $300 by myself at your restaurant less than a week ago.

Grand Cru was a wonderful experience - in terms of ambience, food and service. We arrived and decided to sit outside as the night was beautiful. We were socially distanced from other patrons and immediately our server brought us our water and silverware along with the menus. Oh, how to choose. I had to forgo my Champagne Cocktail for medical reasons (who actually has one on their menu these days?) and while we debated what to eat we had the utterly delightful and interestingly mixed bread basket with the unsalted (YEAH) butter. After a bit, my husband chose the Scallops, which came atop melted Leeks accompanied by roasted cauliflower, and capers, golden raisins, and shallots. I tried a part of his scallop and I have never had one sweeter. Because I could substitute Rosemary French Fries for the Beet Risotto, I had the perfectly cooked Salmon along with THE best green beans I have ever eaten in a restaurant. And the mustard cream sauce that went with the Salmon was just the right touch. The portions were perfect and did not leave us wanting. We were so dead tired we didn't even have dessert and the next day my husband even question why I didn't have my always desired French Onion Soup - something I never ever miss - just call it traveler's exhaustion. Next time, I'm having appetizers, soup and dessert by making a reservation for the second day we are in Arlington!

Great food and service. The menu was amazing as well, it was hard to decide. My only criticism is that the cheese board only had 2 kinds of cheese. I think there should more that 2 types of cheese.

We had a lovely evening at Grand Cru Wine Bar & Bistro, celebrating a friend's birthday! The weather was great, wonderful waiter, fabulous wine list and excellent food. We could not have asked for a nicer time!

Incredible service! I wish I would have remembered our servers name because she was PHENOMENAL and SO thoughtful for our anniversary! She really made an incredible experience and we will be coming back
