Featuring over 150 whiskies, it is the perfect place to relax and reflect. As dusk settles, The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar comes alive as a meeting place for pre and post dinner drinks. Second afternoon tea and it was just as wonderful as the first time, lovely atmosphere and quality food with excellent service.

The environment was lovely. There are some areas that can be improved eg the sandwiches and cakes were brought out with the scones to follow once the sandwiches were finished. The delay between the delivery of the first food stack and the scones was too long and as the sun was coming in the windows and the area had become warm, the cake cream and chocolate was melting. This was disappointing as scones should be eaten after sandwiches and before cakes but, due to the wait, the cakes were not very edible having warmed and melted. I would recommend in such warm circumstances, sandwiches and scones are brought out and the cakes follow, if they cannot be brought out together. The services was not as attentive as I would have expected. It was difficult to get people’s attention.

Thank you for taking such great care of us on our visit for afternoon tea. All of the staff were so friendly, helpful and polite. The views were spectacular, the food was great and the drinks were exceptional 🙏🏻 Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

I was disappointed with the service. When my teapot leaked and didn't pour it was because the packing was still inside the spout. It was taken away for replacement as well as my tea strainer and cup and saucer. After a short wait a new teapot of tea was brought to the table with a cup. When the server never came back I had to ask for a saucer and teaspoon plus tea strainer.

Unfortunately messed up the afternoon teas and served staggered and 3 people waited 2 hours for their food. This ruined the atmosphere but the venue was very stunning.

We had 4 afternoon teas between 5 of us. The sandwiches were very basic and quite bland in flavour. There wasn’t really enough sandwiches for 5 people. We had a lovely time as we were catching up with old friends, however none of us were overly impressed with the food and felt it was not worth the price.

I cannot fault the service but I felt the Afternoon Tea was average. Sandwiches were ok,the little rolls were chewy and crisp on the bottom.It was as if they had been microwaved to defrost.Scones were lovely as were some of the little cakes. The view from the Grand Tea Lounge was superb as I did request a table at the window,thank you. While Gleneagles and Cromlix do not have the wonderful views from their Lounges their Afternoon Tea I found better value for money.
