Service was excellent. My old fashion was probably the best thing we got. The food wasn’t terrible but not the best and definitely not worth the price. I will not be going back here unless I’m craving an old fashion.
    Gray & DudleyResponded on 16 August 2026
Dear Stephanie, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that our service made a positive impression and that the Old Fashioned was a standout during your visit. We are, however, sorry to learn that your dining experience did not meet the same expectations. We sincerely appreciate your candid feedback, as it helps us identify opportunities to improve and better serve our guests. Thank you again for your feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another visit and provide a dining experience that exceeds your expectations.

Gray & Dudley's on 3rd Ave in downtown Nashville was the perfect stop before our concert at Nissan Stadium, and we're so glad we decided to check it out! We lucked into happy hour, which gave us the perfect excuse to order way too many appetizers, and not a single regret! The corn fritters... ummm, give me 10! They were absolutely incredible. We also had the pizza, duck fat biscuits (what?! 🤯), chips with French onion dip, and a side of fries. Every single bite was phenomenal and packed with flavor. The cocktails were just as impressive, beautifully crafted, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. A huge shoutout to our waitress, Ali, who was an absolute gem! She was friendly, attentive, and made our experience even better. If you're looking for a great spot before an event at Nissan Stadium or just a fantastic meal in downtown Nashville, Gray & Dudley's is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!
    Gray & DudleyResponded on 28 July 2026

It's exciting to know that your meal exceeded your expectations and that our team went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Our kitchen takes a great deal of pride in offering a unique menu that appeals to a wide range of preferences, so we're delighted to know that you found so many options to suit your palate. Thank you very much for taking the time to reach out and share the highlights of your visit. We hope that you had a great time at your event and look forward to serving you again at Gray & Dudley.

We were there for the Happy hour because this restaurant closes between 2-3 and we arrived at 2:03 and the kitchen was closed. The staff was kind and had no problem with us sitting there and ordering drinks until the kitchen reopened. The ambience is nothing to write home about. Actually, the whole hotel just felt blah. There’s some decent art and a cool “listening room” where you can play some LPs but it also smells musty in there so I’m so not sure why they felt this was an “upscale” hotel. Anyway, once 3 pm came we ordered their happy hour menu and the pork belly slider is great and the hot honey pepperoni flatbread is decent but it’s not worth the money (not even at $7 a bite). All of us felt like we wasted time and money. Nashville has some great places to eat, this is not one of them.
    Gray & DudleyResponded on 26 May 2026
Dear Sandra, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. It’s encouraging to hear that our team made you feel comfortable while you waited for our kitchen to reopen, and that a few selections from the happy hour menu stood out during your visit. However, it’s disappointing that our overall atmosphere and your dining experience didn’t leave the impression you had hoped for. Creating an environment that feels polished and enjoyable from start to finish is something we take seriously, and we will review your comments closely. We hope to have the opportunity to provide a fully satisfying experience in the future.

Went for Easter brunch, which was described as much more elevated than it actually was. Powdered eggs, bacon, sausage links, really scary looking asparagus, flimsy pancakes, no salmon toast as was advertised, just a basic free hotel breakfast, placed in chafing dishes, with some really dry ham on a cutting board, with garnishes. Granted, all of this was my fault, because I did not really pay attention to the time that the brunch ended (2) and our reservation was at 1:30. But this was NOT a $55 Easter brunch. We should have just ordered from the regular brunch menu, which actually looked pretty good. I'll be back for that, but the Easter brunch "experience" was not an experience, it was a regular every weekend type, free breakfast included, experience. I heard the mimosas were good, though.
    Gray & DudleyResponded on 9 April 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience. It's disappointing to hear that the Easter brunch didn't meet your expectations, especially given its description as a more elevated offering. Timing can certainly impact presentation and selection toward the end of service, though it should still feel consistent with what was advertised. Your comments about the food and overall experience are helpful and appreciated. It’s nice to hear the regular brunch menu caught your eye. We hope your next visit is more enjoyable.

I went to the brunch. I wanted to try the restaurant as a new place that I had not been to before in downtown. I had the brunch and I was not pleased. The ham was overcooked and the pancakes tasted like microwaved McDonald's pancakes, and to top it off the price was $55. This was not a good experience. There were men standing around at the oven and they should be serving the meat fresh, instead, they prepare it and then put it under heat lamps. It was very odd for me. I won't visit again.
    Gray & DudleyResponded on 9 April 2026
Dear Anthony, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We regret that your experience with us did not meet our high standards. Your thoughtful feedback will be carefully considered as the culinary team continues to improve and fine-tune our service. If you change your mind about returning at any point, we would be grateful for the opportunity to welcome you back and showcase the value we provide.

Amazing food and the cocktails were imaginative and delicious. The creative small plate offerings were a surprise as they set such a high bar for the mains. Wonderful space, and professional staff rounded out the evening for a wonderful experience.
