We pride ourselves on sourcing top quality local ingredients and make our products fresh on the premises as much as we can. And of course, we also brought our Dutch roots with us as well. Loved the fresh tingle on my tongue of the zingy ginger beer and would definitely order it again. Enjoyed the eggs katsu supreme, poached eggs were perfect. However, there was no discernible Katsu flavour in the hollandaise sauce and I feel other options on the menu offer better value for money. Had a wee taste of the eggs Greenwood which was delicious! Interesting menu, good service, will happily return.

We had breakfast there while we were staying nearby. The food quality was good but both of us found ours a little flavorless. The potatoes on my veggie breakfast were quite greasy. 14.25 for a full veggie and full Scottish is pricey and we didn’t leave feeling like it was good value - especially after adding coffee and tea to the bill. Disappointing based on other reviews.

Overpriced for what we received! Cappuccino was served in a cup about the size of a thimble! Food was rather bland and hashbrowns were sold and grey in the middle. Very disappointed considering other peoples reviews

We've been to Greenwoods twice now for brunch when traveling through Edinburgh and loved it every time. The food is great, the people are lovely and the atmosphere of the room is very pleasant. I definitely recommend it!

Been there at least 6 or 7 times, and never have I ever been more in love with a brunch place. They've recently changed their menu (which included my go-to menu item) and I love love love the new options just as much. Can't recommend enough!

Booked brunch very last minute. Highly recommend always arriving with a reservation since great places like this are busy! The classic eggs Benedict was the best we ever had, and the Bircher Bowl was delicious and far exceeded my expectation!

Loose tea was not in bags so tea was extremely bitter and not enjoyable Waitress was just ok Reservations too close together and we were told we had 5 minutes to leave for the next table immediately after we were finished. Not very relaxing.

We do have these to hand for take away drinks. If you had told us at the time, we would have fixed this but you didn't. You were kindly asked to vacate the table 15mins after paying your bill. My pal and I met at 11am when we had booked. Our table was still being used so we had to wait outside for a few minutes, with a few other customers. It wasn't raining so this was fine. The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious and a huge portion. However the hot chocolate was so-so, and for a fiver this wasn't good. I would go again but only if I was feeling flush and starving. 4/5

I’ve been meaning to try Greenwoods (and the banana bread tumble)for ages and finally got a table! It didn’t disappoint - all four meals were excellent and definitely worth ordering chips as a side! It was extremely busy, but the service was so quick and friendly and we’ll definitely be back. The Pride cocktail was delicious and came with a topping of red glitter.
