Grill Off the Green
Amazing food, just so well cooked and tasty. The service was faultless. And above all this please has a really warm atmosphere.
There are around 40 restaurants within a 2 kilometre radius of our home, but (having eaten at most) this is the one to which we always return. The chef Antonio is brilliant, the head waiter Tony is delightful and the menu is creative. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
Lovely meal with good food, great service and a lovely bottle of wine.
My Husband and I were staying in the area for a visit to Kew gardens. I was very pleased to find the pop up restaurant " Grill on the green " and made a reservation online. The restaurant had a warm welcoming cozy atmosphere, we received a friendly greeting and shown to our table. The menu had a good selection of choices, the waiter was knowledgeable and offered recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed all three courses. The steak is of excellent quality and prepared by Chefs who know what they are doing. The salad and vegetable sides were freshly prepared and delicious. Puddings were again of a very high standard. If we lived locally we would definitely visit often. Thank you to the team at Grill on the green for adding another lovely experience to an all round super trip.
Excellent service, great food. Not cheap but the best steaks we’ve had ever! Tender & lots of flavour!
Love this place - it's always a real treat when we go. And, although the restaurant changed its name a while back, the front of house staff are all the same and as welcoming as ever.
Service was polite and attentive without being disruptive. The choice and quality of the food was very good and portions were fairly sized. Recommended
Fabulous food with service to match. A delightful restaurant with charming art work decoration
We went on a Saturday afternoon so the restaurant was empty but had brilliant late lunch. Wine was good and the steak cooked to perfection
We visited on 15th January 2020 and were very pleased that nothing had changed from when it was the Kew Grill. Some dishes on the menu are different but the food was outstanding in quality and taste. The staff are an asset to this restaurant and are always friendly and approachable. We look forward to many more visits!
This is the former Kew Grill but now owned exclusively by Antony Worrall Thompson. It’s been spruced up a bit and still has the same excellent head chef and restaurant manager. The main difference is that the menu is more varied and interesting than it was although there’s still some very good classic grill meat cuts on there too. It remains a really nice place to eat with good but not stuffy service, which is just how we like it.
Great food and particularly great steaks.
Anyone who was a fan of the old Kew Grill will really enjoy this reboot.
The staff really care about the customers and the food. This new venture deserves to be a big success.
So happy that Kew Grill has reopened as Grill off the Green. Same great menu, food and team. Pricey but worth it.
Our favourite restaurant by far. Excellent service, friendly and efficient staff. The best steak you will ever taste. A great menu and wonderful environment.
Good to know the team are still going strong. Excellent dinner, great service- well done everyone!
We have visited many times, when known as the Kew Grill. now renamed a wee bit hard to find on line, but the food and service as good as ever. well worth a visit. I, rather unusually had the Fish - Monk Fish, with a lovely Hollandaise sauce - simply and beautifully cooked.
