Used to be one of my favorites but the dishes aren’t as good as they used to be there. Short ribs were smaller than usual with hardly any sauce (had to ask for more on the side) , fish was not seasoned as advertised and the side that came with it was not edible (my husband didn’t even eat it) salad was very small and drink wasn’t good. They used to do temperature checks (Covid) but didn’t this time? I been hesitant about going back the past few times but this time I’m deciding not to at this point. Just not worth it anymore.

We arrived ahead of schedule and they explained there would be a short wait til our table was ready .. They allowed us room to sit or stand near the bar and we had pre dinner cocktails .. Delicious !!! The remainder of the evening was superb .. We intend to return in a few weeks as always .. Can't wait !!!!

We sat on the patio but somewhat closed in so we felt COVID-safe but not too chilly for an early-Spring, evening meal. Our server was also the bartender and so we had fabulous service, drinks, and food as a result of his experience and recommendations. We chose Grille 3501 as a place to treat guests who came to town and the restaurant did not disappoint! Thank you!

Quiet restaurant and delicious food!

Had a really good dinner at 3501. Was in from out of town for work with my wife. We had nice cocktails, and a very good dinner. I had the pork chop entree, my wife had the chicken. Both were quite good. Our server, Gina, was great. We will definitely return the next time we’re in Allentown.

Food and atmosphere were great. Exceeded expectations.
Service could have been a little better with attention to what was needed and when.
Lastly we were asked to leave after 1hr. 20mins. of dining. We were told they had a time limit to how long a table could stay for. With all due respect, we had three appetizers, soups, four entrees, four desserts, and ordered craft drinks and beer.
We all have not been out due to Covid-19 and this was a first gathering in over a year as couples, we spent over $200.00 at the table, not including the tip, so to be told our "time was up" was very unfortunate and quite honestly rude. Our table was still drinking and was interested in having espresso's/coffee. Within minutes of finishing our dessert we were approached to leave which seemed very odd considering the were open tables in both direction of our table.

This place was fantastic. The food was phenomenal. Service could have been a little better, but we were seated in the outside tent. I’m sure inside the building it is up to par with the rest of the restaurant. Will certainly return.

Birthday for a friend.

Good food and great cocktails. Tables socially distanced and all servers appeared to consistently wear masks properly. Sat in the outside tent. Not sure the configuration of the inside.

Was disappointed that we were first seated in a tent when I made a reservation for standard seating. They found a place for us in the bar area which was better but not what we were expecting for our anniversary dinner.

Very good food, lots of flavors, and great choice.
The service was very good, unobtrusive, pleasant and efficient.
We sat in the tent, very roomy, and the requisite distancing for all to enjoy their meal.
I highly recommend the restaurant.

3501 is one of my favorite spots. Something just seemed off on Saturday night when we were there. Really loud in the loft. Food and service were just ok. I was annoyed that my sister had called in earlier in the day to surprise us with a round of drinks and nothing was ever mentioned to us We were billed for all our drinks although they took her credit card info.

Nice menu. Varied. Good drinks great size portions, quality not quantity. Would highly recommend, excellent staff. COVID guidelines followed.

Followed indoor covid protocol. Had Winter salad and lobster. Was delicious. Highly recommended.

Food was very good service was excellent. The only thing I can say I was not crazy about were the olives in our martinis. Funky taste. You might want to get them on the side. Could have been a fluke but no need to compromise an excellent martini. Otherwise excellent dinner and will go back again

Friends Birthday

The food was excellent. The short rib croquettes & tuna tartar were delicious as appetizers. For entree we had the pork chops, sea bass, short rib risotto and filet mignon were all delicious and tender. We will definitely go back.

We have been to 3501 numerous times in the past and love the food and the atmosphere.
I thought there was currently indoor dining, but we ended up in the tent. not the ambiance we wanted for 'date night'. It was COLD in the tent. The service was not what we have had in the past, and the meat and cheese appetizer was NOT worth the $19 we paid for it.

Excellent food and service. The outdoor heated tent was very comfortable and cozy.

We arrived a little earlier than our reservation but were seated right away at a table next to the bar. It was exactly where we wanted to be. The bartender was great and served lovely drinks. On a busy Saturday night, it was so nice to feel attended to and not feel rushed. We will certainly return soon!

Everything was excellent about our experience. Food was delicious and service was great.

It was my wife’s birthday and we haven’t gone out much since the pandemic started last year. We were seated in an area they called the main dining room, but it wasn’t the main dining room we ate at in this restaurant in the past... it was a small round table for 2 that was placed in a hallway/corridor near an abandoned bar counter with a drafty window; no other tables were within sight. The area was bustling with workers and had cardboard boxes and other packaging materials for takeout. I ordered a $9 winter salad and started eating it then realized it was missing the advertised pecans; the wait staff took it back... they returned with one that had nuts but a diminutive amount of cheese compared to the first, the taste wasn’t good. The entree we had was braised short ribs. They were brought to us about 1 hour after we ordered them; and a half hour plus after we finished salad; it felt as if timing wasn’t appropriate. The short ribs were tender inside, but had been braised a little too hard and had a hard crunchy smoky and burnt tasting layer; the accompanying sauce left me with an insatiable thirst because it was so salty. The service was okay, but impersonal. We felt there were too many different people that visited our table during our time. There were 6-8 different people that visited our table to take order, check on us, run food, clear plates, etc. ultimately we didn’t feel we had specific attention of any person that had a vested interest in addressing our experience. While we recognize the pandemic has been hard on restaurants and “safety” measures exist... I cannot see myself wanting to return and pay premium price for ambience that makes me feel like I’m eating in my basement, and food quality I can get at any diner.

I understand why the main dining room is closed, but the Loft area is too noisy for me. Although the dinner entrees are limited, they are excellent.
