Absolutely delicious food with very friendly and efficient service
Amazing food, amazing service.
Delicious food. Great service. Good wine list and hubby enjoyed his beer
Lamb chops are very nice, but on the pricey size but very flavoursome.
Fantastic way to experience Indian food!!! I love the Tapas way of eating!!!!
Very tasty food but very pricey!
The lamb chops were delicious with the lamb cooked to perfection.
Prawns didnt need to be butterflies as made them harder to eat.
Overall amazing taste but you will feel it on your wallet!
A fantastic date night! The location is beautiful and the food is delicious. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. Thank you very much for a great evening.
I highly recommend the broccoli!
Food very bland and tasteless- for example lamb chops were overcooked and dry
Non traditional Indian restaurant with limited menu (in a good way). Everything was terrific: service was pleasant, very attentive and friendly. Food and drinks came out quickly and every dish was wonderful. Beautiful room.
Brought a group of friends who had never been before. All were blown away by the food
Been once before (to Spitalfields branch) and raved about the food to so many people, it had a lot to live up to in my mind. Didn't disappoint. Everything was very good or excellent. Hopefully, will be back.
One of the best indian fusion I've had and the location is fantastic too
Excellent food, great service. Get the brocoli and the egg masala!
Great restaurant/location, amazing food and brilliant service & atmosphere.
Very enjoyable venue, imaginative and excellent cuisine, very warm welcome, a little on the pricy side, but would definitely visit again.
Best Indian food in London. No question.
Good food, have been there now 3 times and have tried most of the things. My favourites are oysters, lamb chops, okra and bread pudding with an old monk shot.
Aaloo chat is a bit sweet but ask for a green coriander chutney to balance the flavour.
If you love sharing dishes the quality of Indian food here is exceptional.
Buzzy and not a place for a date but more a group of friends to enjoy fine food and drink
Good service True Indian dishes and all very flavoursome
The food was excellent but portions were not generous and the lamb chops were expensive
for what they were, but delicious. The menu could benefit with more vegetables dishes.
Would I go again absolutely but at an earlier time as our table was 2pm and the kitchen closes at 3pm.
The food is excellent, but beware not to over order, as we did, because some dishes are very different sizes from others. It took a long time to get any service upstairs but it was fine once they got going. Generally a good experience.
Service was quick and efficient but the quality of the food didnt suffer because of it. The softshell crab, venison dumplings and lamb chops were exceptional
We had a great night at Gunpowder, Tower Bridge. Food was amazing, really nice atmosphere in the restaurant, and the service was great. We were a party of 4 and between us we tried most of the dishes off the menu - and there wasn't a bad dish among them. Thoroughly enjoyable night and would definitely go back.
Great food and serrvice
Delicious food. Very good value for the quality. Professional service. Super popular and busy so you must book ahead. But not a place for a chat - it was packed and loud and, sadly, this detracted from the experience quite a bit. We'll definitely visit again to try more dishes but hopefully without the din.
We love coming to gunpowder as the food here is amazing,,,, just when you think it can’t get any better they add new things to the menu! The oysters and steak are fabulous, I’m so pleased I’m coming back with friends next week!!!!
Outstanding as always. Phenomenal staff, amazing food and a wonderful experience. We look forward to next time.
Great Service. The Karwari Soft Shell crab, the Okra fries and the Sag Paneer are outstanding.
I enjoyed the food here, however, the service was really bad.
The food came before the drinks, the plates were cold, the rice came late, the staff forgot to bring the dessert and only half the table was cleared before I had to ask to get the rest of it cleared. I understand the restaurant was busy but I must have got up from my table about 5 times to ask the staff to resolve all these issues. Not the best experience, especially when the food is quite pricey, the overall experience was not good.
Delicious food. Good for a friends get together and dates alike
Probably the best lamb chops I’ve ever tasted :)
Really nice, recommend the venison donut and the lamb chops. We were tucked away in a corner booth which was slightly cold so can't really comment on the ambience, but will definitely return or try the Spitalfields one.
The service is top level. The food, is full of
flavour and a experience you can't forget.
We had an incredible meal at Gunpowder and we’re already looking forward to returning again soon!
Really great food! The venison doughnut is something else! fab cocktails! The staff were all attentive and we had a great evening.
I would highly recommend to anyone and I will definitely be revisiting!
Great food, speedy service very friendly staff
I have been there 4 times and this was the first time the food was not good at all, it was soggy, cold too much oil did not feel fresh. The steak had hard fat pieces...
There was no one to clear the tables knowing the tables are small, it felt congested and not a good environment.
Would not recommend anyone to go there again.
Staff great, really friendly and attentive. The prices felt a bit too high for the food/restaurant for me, but it's in a fairly touristy area, so that might explain it.
Service was poor
great service, nice wine, incredible food. See you again
