Guy Fieri’s Tequila Cocina
The manager very professional, extremely helpful on recommendations since it was our first time dining at the restaurant. Our server was so nice, and gave us phenomenal service. The ambiance was so relaxing, and my girlfriend was so happy we went to this restaurant.
Water was dripping from the ceiling which wasn’t terrible but still annoying. Tacos really small and cold. Guests food was cold as well.
It was fantastic! Good music and excellent service and food
Really had higher expectations, overall service kinda forgot about us, location was just not a vibe- no music or cool ambiance. Overall definitely would not come back, good food but ambiance is lacking
Loved the service and food was exceptional. Tacos were on the smallish side and drink offerings were a little steep for our liking.
First time at this place in my neighborhood found out about it from a card tucked in my door. It was a pleasant surprise. Colorful inviting atmosphere, clean with high end furnishings the bar staff are highly skilled and Tequila is a specialty with a generous variety including special and rare options. Wait staff is very professional and food served hot. The chicken fajitas were excellent with fresh sides to design your own. Great experience and will return with friends.
I just came back from Boston from a getaway anniversary. It was my first time visiting Boston.
My first stop was GFC at the TGarden.
Ambiance was cool and quiet, maybe because there was no hockey game this past Thursday.
Didn't have a full meal just 2 appetizers; the beef quesadilla and the pork belly which was good portion and tasty.
Also, I had two flight of tequila; 1 a~nejo flight and 1 off the hook flight at the end one shot of my favorite or the one I liked the most.
I wish you can select your own tequila shots.
GFC is close to the Noth Station metro (orange line).
I thought the food was awesome Great service Nice atmosphere I would recommend this restaurant to everyone
Lively place. Great food and great drinks. I went on a weekend, therefore, it was packed and service was slow. They also messed up our order. But would definitely go back.
Great food, great atmosphere, and great price! Highly recommend.
We decided to try out Guy Fieri’s new restaurant on our way in to the Celtics game. We really liked the menu and the atmosphere! The decors is really cool and fun. We really liked being seated at a booth and having a great spot to see the artwork and ambiance of the restaurant. As for the food/drinks. My Cadillac margarita was good but was basically full of ice so that was a little disappointing. The pork belly was awesome! As were the wings! I was pretty upset about the guacamole situation. It was remade and I have a cilantro allergy and was told that they couldn’t accommodate that and make a special batch for me. My husband and daughter ordered it anyway and it was not great. They probably ate 1/4 of it. Though the chips were good. My husbands quesadilla was good! And my daughter and I had multiple tacos....the el pastor, the shrimp tacos, and the carnitas were all really good. But the best was the Barbacoa cauliflower! The corn tortillas were really good and crispy yet still pliable. The one really unpleasant component was the absurdly loud music pumping in from the spin class next door. It was so loud we couldn’t talk for the first 1/2 hour we were there without screaming at each other. It was ridiculous. And that alone will make me not interested in returning. I’m not there for a rave...I’m there to dine and enjoy the company of my friends/family.
All in all a decent experience, but definitely would hit one of our other Mexican favorites first....if anything, just so I can eat the guacamole and have a more robust margarita! Though the pitchers did look amazing!
Service was slow, menu was limited, and dishes were uninspired.
Cool vibe and atmosphere, food was decent but not amazing. Service was very quick (almost too quick) we were in and out in about 45 min on a Thursday night which made the dining experience feel rushed.
The food is overpriced. For thee Guy Fieri’s restaurant I went in expecting reallllly good food and I could’ve gotten the same tacos at a stand in the common. They give you a taco the diameter of my iPhone5- tiny. Beautiful ambiance, bar lighting, seating, and paintings. That was really the only good thing about the restaurant. I got a pitcher with 1 other person and neither of us were even buzzed.
Waiter was good & manager was GREAT! Wish I would’ve gotten his name. There was a little hick up nothing major, waiter brought out the wrong plate of food ir something again nothing major & the manager was right on top of it.. came over apologized & offered a drink on the house for the inconvenience, that was very observant & professional of him.. if anything just a great thing to do. I’ll definitely be going back.
Great time and meal! Staff was so friendly and the service was fantastic!
Cheeseburger tacos were small but awesome, we got two orders. Great guac. Nachos were also killer. Great pre-game spot.
Worst service I’ve ever experienced. My husband and I went in for our anniversary and was greeted happy anniversary which was probably the only good part of the service. We ordered our drinks and an app finished it a waitress cleared our plates from the table. We sat there with an empty table for about 20 mins then our waiter eventually came over. Normally I am patient but, the restaurant had 4 other couples receiving service. Not to mention there were several other waiters working standing around talking.
Tina was a great bartender, super attentive and made the best cocktails! Thanks!
Worst service, they did not even care re to provide plates for appetizer and no cutlery until we asked.
Rushed us as they decided to close early and felt like no one cared about service except the check. The worst dining experience. Definitely not recommending.
Great spot for good food and drinks
The tacos and drinks were amazing- got both the shrimp and chicken. They were flavorful and loved the thick, fried up corn tortillas. The side dishes-rice and cauliflower were tasty, but came out cold. The meals came out at different times, but the manager made up for this. Just think the kitchen may have had an off night. Chips and salsa are $10, which are usually free at other restaurants. Guy Fieri should consider this. Margaritas were greasy.
Great food and location, a bit pricey but superb cuisine...
Drinks have virtually no liquor in them. Would not return for dinner and $52 pictures of juice.
The service was great and the staff were so nice! Thank you :)
Great service, great food, and it was fun.
Food is bland, drinks are great, service is fine. Just don’t go here if your hungry. No flavor, no spice just bland rice, beans and food not that many options to choose from for entrees.
Excellent food as usual! Our server was amazing!! Great atmosphere.
Huge selection of tequillas.
Had fish taco and carne asada taco. Both were very tasty and excellent presentation. Open till 10 during the week.
It was super good! Best quesadilla we had ever had!
Ordered one taco for $7. It was a tiny plate with a very small tortilla that was flat and wet with a teaspoon of steak. Drinks were ridiculously expensive even by Boston standards.
Nice atmosphere, but the the food pricey and not great. One and done.
This was our second visit. During our first visit our service was very slow and our waiter was very inattentive. Our service was much better this time, our server Patrick was friendly & very attentive. The tacos were delicious and we were happy to see the restaurant continuing to closely follow COVID guidelines. I still think the food is a little on the pricey side, but they are pretty on par for the area.
For guy to own this I was expecting the food to have that wow factor but it didn’t very disappoint especiallyfor the price. Wouldn’t go back😢
I enjoyed the ambiance; it was a relaxing, kick-back atmosphere with beautiful decor and perfect weather. Food was fantastic and the service was splendid. I would recommend Guy Fieri's Tequila Cocina to friends and family to try out.
I really love the experience there it was a bday party my cousin was happy food delicious and also drinks are bomb the server was really nice polite and excellent I think his name was Christian I’m definitely coming back again
Thank you guys !
Me encanto el servicio, la comida, la bebida, el ambiente.... pero sobre todo el servicio
I loved this restaurant!! I would highly recommend it!
The food and drink were as expected- average. We knew going in that we were coming for the name and the atmosphere and weren't expected to be blown away by the food. The guacamole was pretty bland, but the barbacoa cauliflower taco and carne asada taco were delicious. The margaritas are a good size (served in a pint glass), but again, average. Our waiter was very friendly, but service was really slow- we sat down at 6:15 and weren't able to place our main course order until 6:48, which was unfortunate since the Taco Tuesday deal (all tacos $3) ended at 7. We weren't able to pay our check and leave until 8:20. The main issue is that everything is WAY overpriced. The tacos are street tacos (read: very small) and usually $6, margaritas, while a good size, are $15 and nothing special, and the "trash can nachos", served in a tin can, are $18. Again, we knew we were coming for the name and the atmosphere, so we weren't too surprised by the high prices, but probably won't be back too soon because of it.
Noise level was normal, and the service was friendly. The trashcan nachos were particularly good (lots of crema), the tacos were so-so but on the good side.
We were hoping for a little Guy Fieri magic, but we were disappointed. To be fair, in this time of COVID and social distancing, I’m not sure any place is at its best.
Tequila Cocina felt like a big chain and the food was only fair. The trash can nachos were delicious, as was the street corn appetizer. The fajitas were barely ok; underseasoned and tough, with lackluster corn, decried beans and just plain sad guacamole. The restaurant is in the Boston Garden/North Station and with nothing going on, the area was really dead. The drinks tasted watered down and the service was adequate, even though there were only a few tables occupied.
We won’t be back.
