Lovely meal, thank you
First time amazing experience. My wife love it. A bit expensive if you are hungry due of the portions are small, but apart of that 9/10. Great taste top quality . Friendly and quick service staff. I will definitely come back.
It’s a nice Japanese restaurant in London. All the meat were nice, apart from the beef tongue. We was expecting more about it. If you think about you are in London not Japan, it’s still a nice choice to go.
Best bbq place I’ve ever been. The food was high quality, service was exact and exceptional. Very modern styling inside. The sauces were so delicious. Perfect place for a date or outing with friends
Excellent quality of food and friendly service. Staff are very attentive.
Good value
Tasty meat in BBQ. Smaller portions than other places I’ve been - so felt more expensive.
The food is amazing. We love the BBQ’s couldn’t decide if the beef skirt / duck / pork was best. I’ve been twice now so we ordered it all at the same time to decide and it’s the beef. Also the butter and soy sauce edamame is delicious. We want to try the beef cheese stew next time.
Honestly I’m a food snob and a Londoner and this is one of my fave meals out...
I had a nice time as the experience and atmosphere of the restaurant is delightful and the staff is very friendly and welcoming, however, the food was over-priced for how little you received, and the selection of Hot Pots are all made from the same seafood-based broth, the only difference being the meats that they throw in, and the price they charge for it. Having an allergy to shellfish, mushrooms, and eggs, I was not expecting to get all three in the Chicken Hot Pot. Though the staff handled the situation very well, apologising and removing the dish from our bill, I just wish that the allergens were clearly shown rather than having a small note on the bottom of the menu telling the customer to ask directly for the list of allergens.
There are only a few authentic Japanese bbq restaurants in the central London for now (some are called so but it’s mostly run by Chinese or Korean -like lots of other Japanese places though!)
This place is definitely authentic and decent Japanese staffs work there.
The quality of the meats are much better than the other place, which is just a cheap chain in Japan and most of the staffs working at london branches are non-Japanese and terrible service and ok-ish food (when it’s happy hour) especially at Oxford Circus one, so we barely admit it’s Japanese quality anyway.
The price range is quite reasonable albeit the good quality of the food, especially meats.
Good choice of drinks, which varieties are also authentic and good for value too!
If you would also like to have other Japanese dishes as starters or sides with bbq, you would better just go to other Japanese restaurants to have them.
This place doesn’t have too much on their menu, as they are doing it just right like proper authentic bbq places in Japan.
I’ll absolutely go back there sometime soon :)
特にプレミアムたん塩が美味しかったです。ご馳走様様でした。
Our booking was a late one, 9:30pm on a Saturday. We felt rushed, as our courses arrived very quickly and all at the same time. The waiter gave us the bill without us asking for it, but we wanted to have dessert (sorbet, the only one on the menu) and couldn't. The food was fine for the price paid, but the experience was nothing beyond ok.
First time there, very nice and not busy. Funny and the portions are good. Would come back definitely.
One of my favourite bbq place in London
Excellent and authentic
Really good experience overall. The beef cuts were amazing and staff is very helpful. However just like with every bbq places you do Leave with the scent on you.
Poca cantidad. Calidad precio-medio.
A newish restaurant offering a tasty reasonably priced lunch menu and Japanese bbq. Told the difference from some Korean bbq is that meats are not marinaded and never from frozen. Very calm interior with good service. Will include on my list of recommended mid range restaurants in town.
Excellent food and friendly service in a cosy environment. Great discovery, we will be back.
Great food!
Really great little place. So glad I went there!
牛タン美味しかったです
Was good, enjoyed everything, wagyu beef was less impressed than the one had in japan tho, pork belly was surprisingly good. The portion could’ve been bigger tho, overall was good.
Family friendly! Delicious food!
Genuine authentic Japanese yakiniku experience. Like being transported to Japan. Real Japanese wagyu !
Great food and the price was very reasonable! The stuff were friendly and nice. Definitely will come back again very soon!
Brilliant food quality and atmosphere. It will be suitable for family occasions and date
Tiny portions, and overpriced. cold room. Service was very nice.
Food was decent and good value for money. Service was disappointing. The co-manager rushed us out, although there was no statement on the reservation that they wanted the table back after certain hours and there were other customers arrived before our party did. The co-manager was not even apologetic when she made the request. We spent £50 per head, it was not a question we didn’t spend enough either. Food was snatched away without asking us. Wish the service was better, warmer and more friendlier. Thumbs down on service.
Food was nice and the drinks were reasonable. The service was very attentive and we have not waited to be served. I like marinated meats, but meats here were so good even they were not.
Hachi provides real Japanese BBQ restaurant taste and style. Not only its meats but also other menus such as kimchi, tail soup, japchae, and home made takoyaki were fantastic.
Very delicious!
Ambiance is a bit lacking but great good and service
Food was good and good value for money.
Good quality of food, would love the portion to be a bit bigger in size. The ox tongue premium and oysters are my recommendation. The Korean stone bowl rice and spicy tofu soup are also yummy.
Lovely atmosphere and casual authentic dinning! Japanese bbq was fun and very tasty food.
It’s fun barbecuing the food yourself. 😆
Place is nice. Service good. Quality of beef for BBQ is only okay, could be better. Other hot dishes are not bad. Overall not bad, only wish they have better quality beef or at least have them marinated to give more flavor.
The service was slow and unresponsive. The food was neither seasoned nor substantial. Not recommended.
Price is fairly expensive, but the quality if the meat, especially the beef was excellent.
Good place for a date, will definatly be going again.
Beef was a bit over priced for what you get. Compared to other Japanese grill places, over all taste was lacking a bit of flavour. Service was very nice and the restaurant was clean and comfortable.
