Japanese Wagyu Beef
Homemade Japanese style curry with chef's original blend of spices. Served with steamed rice, Hachi salad (half size) and pickles. Chef's Reccommendation !!
BBQ beef is not good very chewy
Not recommend to anyone.
Lovely restaurant, helpful staff anice nice atmosphere. Our children really enjoyed it (as did we!).
Was new to this type of restaurant and server was very helpful giving advice and recommendations on what to order
Food and experience is fun. But I paid nearly £200 and thats with only 2 alcoholic drinks. Definitely not worth the money.
It's a rather odd idea, but not, actually, a novel one, to get the customer to cook his own dinner. It does work here, because the ingredients are of the very highest quality. I had fillet beef, shiitake mushrooms, potato slices, king prawns and whitebait (that one coming cooked and absolutely delicious).
It was fun and a very friendly place, but I don't see myself hurtling back.
If you get a painfully loud Laaandaan person three tables away, be warned: it's that kind of acoustic, downstairs, where I was.
Absolutely delicious food and friendly service. Our two boys age 11 and 8 loved it. Will visit again
This should have been a 4 star review. My friend and I chose the regular course which seemed great value for money.
When the meats came out my friend noticed something on one of the slices of pork which was white and fuzzy. It may have been mould so we called the waitress over to ask to have the slice swapped. She took the tray away and came back not a minute later with "a new plate". Before she left there were 6 slices of each cut on the plate and when she came back there were 5 slices of pork now just spread out more over the plate.
They clearly just removed the bit of pork and rearranged the plate and hoped we wouldn't notice which felt really insulting. Concerned though that we didn't want to make a huge fuss my friend and I continued our meal just a bit annoyed.
When it came to dessert I opted for the mochi. The first 2 flavours I asked for were out of stock and on my 3 order I got the vanilla. On the menu it states "ice cream mochi X2" but when the mochi came out I had 1 singular small ball of mochi in a bowl cut in half. By this point we needed to leave anyway to make a show and so settled the bill and left (even paying the 12.5% service they added on)
The food tastes great and otherwise I would recommend. It's just such a shame that the restaurant felt they could shorthand us like that.
Amazing quality, great lunch menu choices!
Good was lovely
Had a meal for our anniversary, fantastic service, very accomidating and attentive.
We will be back
Great meat, cozy atmosphere, great for a laid-back Saturday night meetup with close friends
I think charging a high price in London is understandable but charging for wasabi comes across as slightly stingy and exploring customers
Enjoyable meal, more casual and noisy than I expected and quite smokey, but the birthday girl (20) and her friend were v pleased and loved the bbq pork belly and lamb chops. Gyoza and Japche were my favs. Good find!
Really good food and service. Everyone is ver nice and welcoming
The food was great and the environment was good. Shame that there were a time limit of 1.5 hour to cook and finish the meal and was rushed to pay the bill after around 1 hour and 20 minutes. I felt it was a bit of a rush even if I’m not a slow eater.
It’s a great choice if you just want a quick delicious dinner and then move to another place for chats and drinks, but I don’t recommend if you like to take your time with food and have a good catchup with friends during dinner.
Food was really good and we enjoyed the restaurant and would go back. The reason I have rated it down is because meat portions are fairly small for sharing. Also, we had to get the waiters attention for things on several occasions. Overall, I would recommend as food and sake was good.
Wonderful, friendly staff and amazing food!!
What a brilliant place. Chosen for a daughter’s birthday and wanted something a little different. This is a small restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere, I would recommend booking if you want the full bbq experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, as our first time we were a little apprehensive however the staff talked us through what usually happens, just order a few dishes and add some more later if you are still hungry. The food was beautifully presented, we had a few diy bbq and some from the main menu, the fried chicken is amazing only to be topped by their signature Japanese bbq sauce. The bill was really reasonable for what is an Instagram-able experience. I highly recommend.
Lovely place excellent service. We had the table downstairs which isn’t as much fun as upstairs. Upstairs looked like better ambiance.
Super-fresh product, great BBQ experience to share a joyful moments with friends.
So much fun and great food, the quality of the meat is really high. Service great too. Love this restaurant.
Great selection of food (particularly meat), but quite expensive. Very casual setting, great for dinner with friends.
Fun, delicious food, well priced and very friendly staff
Great food and friendly staff.
The lunch menu was amazing value and would visit again
First time visiting and we liked the service. The atmosphere was good and staff were friendly. We enjoyed our dinner with no rush to give the table back. Would go back again soon and try the other dishes.
Loved it! Highly recommend it to everybodyyyyyyyyyyy
top quality meat best meal I’ve had in a long time. abit expensive but you get what you pay for! well worth it.
Lovely concept and good cuts of meat but don’t appreciate an enforced service charge, when all the server does is bring seasoned raw meat/fish to table. Sour lemon drink had very little flavour
Food was incredible and staff are very attentive. I really enjoyed dining there with my friends. Overall amazing! I have been there twice within a space of one month.
The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent!!
We wanted to try to recreate our trip to Kyoto and it didn’t disappoint. We had the standard menu for two which was excellent value. Lovely food, excellent service and great value.
We went for lunch and the lunch sets were excellent value for money. Good menu selection! The BBQ beef quality were great. I also loved their fried chicken - it was simple but well made - exactly what a great Japanese meal should be.
Too expensive for the quality of the food provided. Never again
Loved .lovely venue and attentive waiters/waitresses. Food superb.
Especially the oyster stew.
An authentic experience all round. Impressed with the quality of food great service and most of all a fun experience. Get yourselves down to Hachi!
Great food. I love the ambience and the server was really good too. I enjoyed the bbq dishes served including the takoyaki. I would go back again.
The food was super delicious, especialy the harami cut, pork belly, and beansprout namul. It was a little pricey, but everything is of really good quality! Service could be a little slow sometimes but it’s understandable because they can be deservedly very busy.
