Halloumi Ratings and Reviews
Stylish greek surroundings and excellent modern greek food. You will find some of the old classics on here such as Greek Salad, but there is an abundance of modern takes as well. I normally have 3 dishes for myself and sometimes this can be a bit much. The swordfish and king prawn souvlaki is outstanding. As is the feta tempura with chili sauce. Took two colleagues for dinner there last week and they were both blown away. Just go !
I went to Halloumi for lunch and a catch up with my mum and sister. We booked a table for 2pm and didn't leave until 6pm! The service was friendly and helpful, not at all intrusive. The food came in a constant stream to whet our appetites...halloumi fries are a must along with the houmous and pitta bread! I would thoroughly recommend Halloumi to everyone whether its for a lazy lunch or a romantic dinner
I would highly recommend Halloumi for a great dining experience for any occasion. Don't be fooled by the "smaller" portion sizes, they are actually very filling and probably 2 each plus a side dish is enough.
The cocktails are delicious too!
The service was attentive but not in your face. I will definitely be back!
I was made to feel very welcome when entering the restaurant for the first time but had to wait a short while for our seats to become available. We were placed at the window which consisted of a high table and bar stools. I am small so struggled a bit to get on the seat. People from outside were also stopping to look in the window so it wasn't very private. I was spoilt for choice with the menu. We didn't have to wait long for our food to come. All the food I ordered was great. Recomendation is to eat the halloumi fries when they are still hot as they become a bit chewy when they have cooled down. Good prices and really filled me up when sharing 5 mezes between two. We ordered water for the table (with a slice of cucumber) so cannot comment on the drinks. Cocktails I thought were a bit pricey but we were there for the food. The staff were very friendly even though they were busy. Still a relaxing atmosphere even though restaurant was full.
This was my third time visiting as I'm attempting to take every single person I know. I love it! The food is unreal, totally different to anything else you can get in city centre. Great value, great wine choice, great atmosphere and the service is fantastic. Can't wait to come back for a fourth, fifth and sixth visit.
I booked in to Halloumi as a treat for a friends 30th and was delighted with the experience. There was a group of us and the staff accommodated us no bother. The food was delicious as were the espresso martinis! Service was of high standard where our server found the right balance of being helpful without disturbing our night too much. The atmosphere was nice too. I would go back just for the king prawns and the swordfish!!
I have been here before and was not disappointed this time round either. The place was packed out on a Thursday night. Always a good sign. The food is amazing. Large portions for Tapas and everything tasted wonderful. Service is excellent also. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our server had the most amazing laugh. He sounded like Santa!!! Lovely gin cocktails too. Cannot fault this place. They didn't do a birthday cake but let us bring one to wish my friend happy birthday so it was fine. Will definitely be back. A little gem of a place
Great meal overall, food was excellent and decor was stylish and modern. The service was a bit slow, they forgot one of my dishes so that took a while, and we had to ask three times for the bill. But this wouldn't put me off going back - it was lunchtime so understandably hectic.
