Great place to dine! The restaurant and adjoining hotel are decorated remarkably, so Firmdale-like! The veal was delicious and ample, and the pasta was good (a little over cooked, for us - but we prefer al dente). The smoked raw salmon appetizer was the best we have had. The service was impeccable, and you can tell that everyone truly likes working there, from the hostess, thru the waitstaff, and manager, who all could not do enough for us!
Cool and classy. An oasis in the middle of frantic Soho.
Set menu is quite limited but a great deal. Atmosphere and people watching heaven though
BeUtiful space lovely service
My kids and I took husband/dad for brunch for Father's Day. The table was lovely in a good position and we were immediately served with water, menus and quickly after some drinks. The brunch menu is varied and not over priced considering the location. The food took quiet a long time to come but we weren't in a hurry so it didn't matter. However, my son got the wrong dish and while the waiter was very apologetic and brought the missing ingredients it was still a little irritating. The food was excellent although portion sizes were on the small side. We then ordered some pastries and another small dish. Again we were served with the wrong thing. Again, there was no problem in correcting the mistake but really at this level it shouldn't happen twice!
Overall we had a lovely time and the hotel itself is gorgeous. I would come back for a drink at the bar and perhaps afternoon tea but not sure if I'd eat in the main restaurant again.
I was quite upset because when I was doing a booking, I requested a table outside on the terrace. Unfortunately, no one told me that the rooftop was closed that night, even when I called for some detailed information - still no one corrects me that the table actually was on the ground floor.
We took up the deal for 3 courses plus a glass of fizz for £24. As with a lot of these deals, you don't get a huge plateful, but as we were off to the theatre that was OK. Extensive wine list. Service was friendly & efficient. Sit outside in the conservatory area or at the bar area if you can.
We visited Ham Yard for my daughters 18th birthday. Aside from the food being exceptional, the service couldn’t have been more attentive. Our waiter even asked if we’d like a birthday dessert plate for her as a surprise. She loved it. We will definitely return for lunch and afternoon tea again
I visit the restaurant quite often, for work and personal dinners. I consider it a fail-safe option due to the wonderful service, food and atmosphere. The bar is lively and perfect for a pre-dinner drink. The menu is seasonal and the waiters/waitresses' are very helpful in recommending choices and they can explain dishes in detail if needed.
I would definitely recommend for a personal special occasion or informal/relaxed business dinner.
Wonderful food and cocktails. Service, ambiance and style second to none. We’ll be back soon.
We sat outside for lunch & had the 2 courses with a glass of prosecco. I hadn’t read the menu correctly so the glass of fizz came as a welcome surprise! Lovely food, lovely outside courtyard area. Just what 3 ‘old’ school friends that haven’t seen each other in years needed! Would highly recommend.
We booked a table outside and had a lovely afternoon, not rushed or noisy, perfect.
Excellent food and service - we ate on the terrace which was lovely. Had the set lunch menu which was excellent value and delicious. Highly recommended.
Great Food and very good deal with the 2 course with Wine.Services was great too ,i highly recommend
Only booked it same day on Open Table, and was able to get a table outside. Nice balmy evening, good friends, good food and excellent service. Staff super friendly and professional.
What a find!
A lovely evening - excellent service and delicious food. Great VFM on the set menu.
Wines a bit pricey, our muscadet was £30.00
We sat inside however it's in a courtyard so outside dining on a warm summers evening would be ideal - no traffic but in the centre of town.
Fantastic restaurant! Can't recommend it enough. Food was delicious and the actual restaurant is stunning inside.
more staff than customers when we first arrived but they still ignored us. Refused to serve us a pink gin categoric they did not sell it ,my colleague explained what a pink gin was and then they served us. nobody spoke English, inept waiter service ,the fish just wasn't right vegetables cold.
Sunday evening meal. Really good find. Good food, first rate service. Lovely outdoor area and spacious interior. Very nicely and unusually decorated. Would recommend.
Great evening spent with family celebrating our wedding anniversary. Sat outside on very warm June evening, service excellent , food delicious and great value ! Recommended for a reasonable night out with the family !
Had a lovely evening at ham yard as always the staff are really friendly and the food is great . Come here a lot , think it’s become my favourite place in London recommend it to everyone ! The Sunday evening set menu is an absolute bargain
Fabulous lunch ...
Met up with four friends for lunch and sat outside
We chose from the set menu and had a lovely lunch which included a glass of fizz... great value and will return
excellent food and great service and atmosphere - very good value for money with thr set menu.
I'll say it again and again...I adore this place. I took another friend who has not been here before...this place is consistently adorable...please don't change.
Ideal place for a pre or post show meal.
The three course set meal was great value.
Would definitely go back.
The afternoon tea is supposed to be one of the best in London. My gluten-free scone was veery dry. The sandwich combination’s we not nearly as delicious as their sister restaurants in NYC ( The Whitby & The Crosby Bar). The ham & pickle sandwich was very unappetizing. There was little filling in the sandwiches.
I'm so pleased to have found the Ham Yard bar and restaurant! The food was really delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I'll be back!
The service was exceptional, attentive and friendly. We had the 3 course set menu and a lovely bottle of beaujolais. The pork belly was cooked well, the hake delicious and the desserts the highlight (panna cotta & crème brûlée). Lovely evening!
Excellent service and ambience and fantastic food as well
Booked this restaurant to meet a friend as I had dined there previously for my brothers' birthday. The staff are well informed about the dishes and the food great value for money.
Really like the decor and ambience
My friend texted me, as she was waiting for me, to say 'It's lovely here!'
Really impressed and would recommend - a great place for many occasions.
An excellent spot with a terrific valued set lunch!
This is the fourth or fifth time I've had dinner at the Ham Yard. As always, the food, service and ambiance were fantastic.
Really lively place on a Saturday early evening. We sat outside and had the 3 course menu which includes a glass of Prosecco taken vefore 7pm. Food was excellent. Still spent £72 per head though after ordering a couple of cocktails each and a bottle of wine! Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.
Service was impeccable, food beautiful.
Loved the outdoor seating and decor. Will definitely return
Ham Yard is high quality dining; the space is very attractive and well designed. It is quite expensive even for West End 'fine dining' expectations for breakfast, but worth it
Lovely setting (outside), good food and drinks, awful service
Always buzzy at ham. Sat with a friend outside, nice but got chilly towards the end of evening.
Attentive waitress who was diligent and personable.
My friend had fillet steak and broccoli, sauce, plus glass red wine.Said it was v good.Around £50 w tip.
I had the healthy roasted squash salad with advocado and chicken. Nice. Good portion size but nothing special for £24 inc tip.
Always love designer Kit Kemp's decor at Ham, so worth it for that...🌞
Excellent food and well presented. Staff attentive and not anxious to rush you. However because it was a pre-theatre meal after work, we did not have enough time to have a dessert which was disappointing as the options sounded wonderful!
Fantastic service, delicious food which is great value set menu with prosecco. Our Waiter was great, very attentive and even brought me a special birthday desert which was lovely. Ham yard is a fabulous hidden gem.
