As per previous review this restaurant is lying to people and saying they are booked outside when they actually have booked inside. Either call and confirm before or just avoid.

Disappointing I booked this restaurant for a friend's birthday dinner. They had an issue with their booking system that was placing people outside despite having booked inside ( one of the employees told me we were the third ones having the issue). The manager didn't believe me when I said I booked inside and treated us poorly. In the end, he said he "did us a favor" and sat us inside, which wasn't any favor as my reservation clearly said standard sitting and not outside. So after waiting to be sat for a while, we had a medium dinner. Quite a loud place and the food was average, my tortellini fait maison was thick and extremely overpriced as I paid £28 for 10 tortellini. Unfortunately, I found that the place was overpromising and underperforming. I will not go back and I neither recommend this place when there are tons of better restaurants in London.

Love coming here staff are always pleasant and friendly and the food is very good. My friends portion of lobster risotto was a bit small but my lamb dish was superb.

Unfortunately the set menu was not available on a Sunday afternoon which wasn’t clear anywhere when we booked. Of the 3 Sunday roast choices only one was available. The food was excellent just not the value and choice we were expecting.

Came for a late lunch with a friend. We had the set menu which was reasonably priced and included a glass of champagne. Good menu choices available and the food was delicious. Firmdale restaurants always consistently produce good food! Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were efficient and attentive. We weren’t rushed off the table. Recommend.

It’s always a delight to bring friends who’ve never been before as it’s such a nice surprise when you turn the corner into Ham Yard. The decor is exceptional, the staff could not be more helpful and the food was delicious. Not the cheapest place to lunch but we thought it was worth the price.

The venue was great with lovely ambience; our waiter was attentive and the service overall was excellent. The food was fabulous; we ordered from the set menu and everyone enjoyed their dishes. We would definitely go back there again!

Excellent service - by people who were happy to be there. The food is first class - very tasty and also good sized portions (though, as always, more veg would help!). Even the coffee is good. The atmosphere is great too - not loud, but energetic and inviting.

金曜日の夜だったので、カジュアルなエリアは混んでいてザワザワしていたが、スクリーンを隔てた奥のエリアは静かで落ち着いた雰囲気で食事ができた。料理の量は年寄りには少し多く、味は良いだけに、もしスモールポーションの選択肢があればもっと良かったと思う。

Great place for a meal with a special person. Area is out of the way so traffic noise isnt an issue. Overall design of the place is great and really comes alive during evenings. Food is deffo top for sure 😁

This was the best experience we have had dinning in London. We chose to have high tea. This was our second time having high tea in London. The first time was at Kensington. That was the worst experience. Since I love high tea. I could not leave London without a great high tea experience. This restaurant and waiter out did themselves. Not only was it gorgeous but delicious. I had gluten free and my kids had standard. Our waiter was amazing. Had such a fun personality. The food was amazing and never felt rushed or that we needed to hurry. Next time I am in London I will be eating here.

We ate at Ham Yard on a Monday night in mid September '23. Restaurant was quieter than we have previously seen it. Good selection of dishes on the 3 course set menu and very good value for money. Had a lovely meal with excellent service, will go back again

I booked this as it looked like an oasis of calm amidst the frenzy of Piccadilly Circus. I wasn’t disappointed. We sat in the lovely courtyard, with plenty of room between tables and a feeling of serenity! We had a fabulous waitress, charming and helpful. The Set Menu offers good value and includes a complimentary glass of Champagne😊 It was a little too dry for me and the wine waiter was happy to bring me some Cassis to add to it. We both had steak frites, which was cooked perfectly. My pudding though was poor. I was quite excited to try a Spanish peach on Angel Cake but was surprised to find it was a tinned peach half, on a basic piece of sponge, with a whisp of meringue on top. It looked pretty but had little taste. V disappointing! If it’s not warm enough to sit in the courtyard, the inside is inviting, spacious and colourful. I would recommend this for anyone visiting the West End who likes to escape from the crowds but be aware that it will be pricey if you depart from the fixed menu.
