Always a pleasure to visit this bar. My favourite place on Newland Avenue. The atmosphere is always fantastic and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is also very good. 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Probably one of the overall nicest places we’ve visited in a while. Everything about it was great from the setting, to the lovely staff and delicious food. Probably would never have gone if not for the 50% offer but we’ll most definitely be back soon - offer or no offer!!

Fun night. Table service was handy. Nice cocktails. Only downside was having to ask to use the toilet, which is understandable given the situation.
Another fantastic night at hangout. The food and cocktails where as good as ever. Staff all friendly as they usually are. Social distancing in place and all other preventions there too. Felt safe all night. Can't wait for our next visit. X

Good food and portion sizes. Delicious cocktails, highly recommend the "Purple-aze". Friendly and very attentive staff, table service and very good social distancing measures in place, all well explained by our waitress that enabled us to still have a great night. Looking forward to our next visit.

Really lovely experience eating here. This was the first place we went to eat when lockdown restrictions were eased and we were not disappointed. The staff always make you feel very welcome and they had all the necessary measures in place to make you feel safe in these bizarre times. The food and cocktails were also great which just made the while experience all the better. We will be back very soon.
The Purple Aze cocktail was unique, refreshing and a pure delight. The decor was quirky and inviting and the owner was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Loved it x
