5 of us Crammed on a table for 4
Long time for drinks and had to remind several times for them and ice and water
Starters burnt and one missing
Trays being dropped everywhere obviously short staffed
It’s my 5 th time here and recommended to many. Brought 4 people on my recommendation and we were all disappointed
Very solid food but the wait time is quite long. Even to get our water and drinks orders to the table took about 15 minutes. The outside area is very nice but we also had to listen to a manager consistently getting angry with one of the waiters throughout the night. They would even bicker over us and other patrons.
We go there a lot but at this visit the food was poor
Service was excellent until our server totally disappeared. A late long break or off duty? She never said anything to us. Then service got patchwork and confused.
Everything came at once although we said the opposite
We arrived early but waited over an hour for our starters to arrive. We were constantly chasing our waiter for service, water, food ,wine. The food was okay. I had the crab salad to start but there was not even a forkful of crab in the dish.
To top it all we were given the wrong bill!!
The ambiance was lovely though, just a shame the service was not good.
I was surprised. It was definitely not as polished as the other Richard Caring venues. Service was really spotty having to even get up and ask to be served drinks. The main course of Crab Benedict that both of us had was one of the most bland dishes imaginable. £120 for 2 with 2 drinks each. I wouldn’t go back.
Office colleagues lunch. Food was generally okay. Having been to this place quite a few times, I knew linguine vongole was good so decided to have this again. The shells were broken into tiny pieces so every time I took a bite I was chewing the broken pieces of the shells. I had to spit them out which was a bit disgusting. The pasta was very salty! I would never order this dish again and would never return. Very disappointed this time, last few times I’ve been was generally okay.
Always very good there
Having heard a lot about Harry’s we were eager to go. Brunch is served until 5pm which seemed quite late.
Service was extremely slow, to the point that when we ordered a dip it didn’t arrive but was on the bill. We asked for it to be removed which, after two staff members questioning us, it was removed.
We sat outside which had a nicer buzz than inside.
I would be interested in trying the evening menu to see if this changed our perception of a very average visit.
Family dinner with 4 kids and a baby. Welcomed us and spoilt us with brilliant service
Great atmosphere and good and service would go again quickly
Thank you for everything!
Very good addition to the neighbourhood. Strange location among so many tourist/shopper trap places but good quality Italian food and attentive serving staff make this a good option which we hope to try again soon.
A couple of negative notes: Firstly, the tables are very densely packed and if you are dining in a group of 4 or more then things get a little uncomfortable. We saw and heard a number of groups openly dissatisfied with their tables asking to be re-seated elsewhere. I wonder whether they might do better to lose a few tables and create a better, more spacious impression.
Secondly, I'm old fashioned like this, but I don't understand why the first thing the greeting staff say after acknowledging your reservation is that you have to leave within a set time. It is not a very friendly or welcoming thing to do and frankly I think few people drag out their dining experience that long anyway. Surely, if individual tables are staying too long then the manager or someone senior could have a gentle word with the table in question rather than making people feel before they've even sat down that you have to rush.
Excellent menu selection and service to match. Food arrived in excellent time and was very well presented and delicious.
West end prices cannot be avoided but over all really enjoyed and will return soon.
The food was absolutely delicious, would definitely go back.
Very attentive and prompt service. The food was delicious and the portion size for the main course was perfect. It was my wife’s birthday and they provided a desert to mark the occasion at no extra charge. Nice touch, we’ll definitely return!
Mediocre food similar to Ivy Cafes.
Excellent location, decor and ambience.
The service overshadowed the quality of the place.
We had a fabulous meal and really loved the novelty ‘toadstool’ pudding.
First time at Harry’s. Good service and food was tasty. We received a nice table by the window and made to feel welcome. I had the buratta, tortellini and sundae dessert. All full of flavour. Wine and food was reasonably priced and portions decent. Crowd was mixed - the usual Harry’s / to tourists. Would return.
Most amazing atmosphere, service and food in London! I am not kidding and not exaggerating. From Veal Milanese to ricotta tortellini, and let’s not forget to kick fingers after sharing that crispy zucchini! We love every single person working there led by GM Matteo! We dined 4 times in past 10 days and already looking forward to the next one!
Very friendly staff and lovely place. Unfortunately spoilt by the table of extraordinarily loud guests . Management need to be confident enough to tackle this on behalf of all other diners who could barely have a conversation over the row. It was very obvious and we did not wish to be embarrassed by making a fuss, so ate quickly and left. Shame.
Son lentos en servir, un problema de la cocina.
El resto, perfecto.
Really enjoyed the breakfast menu! Service was really good as well so looking forward to trying the lunch and dinner menu.
Another great night out at Harry’s!
Have now eaten at Harry’s Bar twice. On both occasions all aspects of my visit have been excellent. Staff are very helpful and friendly, the food is good and the decor and ambiance are great. Will definitely be going back.
Amazing food, great service, fantastic decor, food beautifully presented. Highly recommended.
Great food, service and ambience!
It was great experience, food was really lovely, the staff was nice and helpful. Great selection of veggie dishes which is always a plus and a great wine list!
This visit we chose pizzas 🍕 and although delicious were not that hot when they arrived. Also they serve the pizza on paper which makes it difficult to cut into, we both said they need to supply proper pizza cutters. So am a regular as do enjoy the menu and ambience.
It was a very good experience all thing was very good except the service who was outside he doesn't show respect to the customer they
The courgette appetizer is great but the spaghetti and the dessert nothing special.
Amazing service, great ambience and wonderful dinner ! Loved it !
Good customer experience, ambience, lovely food
Wish the breakfast menu had more veggie and healthy options.
Just on point
A wonderful experience, fab food, great wine selection and awesome service. A really lovely venue for a catch up with friends.
Great new restaurant in London's Marylebone. Highly recommend.
They took a booking for 12.00 noon, but said on arrival that they weren't open till 12.30. They weren't especially concerned either. That's an experience not to be repeated.
