Harry's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Harry's never lets you down. Not a 'cheap and cheerful' restaurant but not excessively expensive either. You get what you pay for and here you get excellent, quality, local food, beautifully presented with a smile :). We probably visit twice a year on special occasions and it is always excellent.
Was recommended by a work colleague. Took my partner out and had a really tasty evening meal. The whipped goats cheese haf the perfect balance of flavours, my partner enjoyed his starter. Mains were lovely. Staff were busy and the places was alive inside, even on a Monday night. Will come back again!
Harry's is a fab place for a special occasion! Our occasion was a Graduation Lunch as my son was graduating in the Great Hall at Streatham Campus. It has a great menu with locally sourced ingredients. The service was excellent too. I have no hesitation in recommending Harry's and would definitely dine there again when next visiting Exeter.
A really outstanding restaurant with consistently brilliant food (much locally sourced), generous helpings and very good service by friendly, smart and efficient staff. Our favourite place to lunch in Exeter and we always look forward to returning on our regular visits to the City.
Harry's is renowned for the quality of their food and, in articular, their homemade burgers. It is a foodies delight and the meal was extremely tasty, well presented and very reasonably priced. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal in a friendly ambience and at a good price. Keep it up!
Not sure if there are gluten free options. We are from weymouth and we think Harrys is our favourite restaurant over anywhere we have been. .Food is excellent. Staff friendly. Cosy atmosphere. Quite lively. We are in our 50s and we love it. Excellent value for money too. Jane and Tim
Went for supper here to celebrate signing for a house for next academic year. All three of us are students and while we were treating ourselves we didn't completely break the bank and for the food we got it was insanely good value. It all tasted amazing. It was a little bit cold in the restaurant though and I had to wear my scarf inside.
Seems to be the place for university students with visiting parents! There was a varied menu, the food was well cooked, and it was reasonably priced. There was a really nice ambience in the restaurant and the staff were very efficient. Would certainly go here again.
Every time I visit Exeter I make a point of booking a meal at Harry’s. The food is always top notch, the service is professional, and the ambience is always agreeable. I love the menu. The produce is locally sourced, which is a nice touch. I liked that the farmers/bakers were listed on the chalkboard by name.
First visit for a pre-concert meal so in at 6. Fantastic food, very large portions though, couldn't face pud - what a shame. Service was excellent, really had a lovely meal and didn't want to rush off. Great coffee as well. Will definitely go again. Recommend booking, several people came in on spec and were turned away on a random Thursday night.
Visited Exeter a few times now and have eaten supper at Harry's and again have not been left disappointed. From entering you're greeted by professional staff and promptly seated, drinks are ordered quickly and then a relaxing evening begins. Lots to choose on the menu and they are happy to accommodate any changes to the menu as my paleo diet can cause issues when eating out. 5* to the team and we're back again in February.
We booked this restaurant based on the reviews and the photographs to go and visit our daughter at Exeter university. So, after a 4.5 hour train journey from Brighon we were pretty exhausted but once we were settled into the restaurant that was all forgotten and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We had a wonderful meal - excellent food, faultless service and a lovely ambience. They have got everything just right and we will definitely be returning.
