My first visit in several years. The experience surpasses the fond memories I have from previous meals.
Service 11/10, Food 10/10, Atmosphere 10/10
Probably the best dining experience in Exeter.
Super efficient service, great menu, superb steak!
This was our second visit to Harry's and we were so pleased that it was just as good, if not better, than our first meal there.
Had a lovely meal for my sons birthday, I bought a cake in for dessert and staff were very happy to serve to us with candles! Very attentive waiting staff - would recommend!
Always a delightful experience at Harry's. This time I was particularly impressed by the care and consideration that went into ensuring my young niece was made welcome, a high chair was provided, the waitress offered to bring her food first, and also gave us a smaller spoon for her to eat with. The adults had a great time too and everyone's food was delicious!
Beautiful building a lovely find tucked away nicely lovely fresh food, we will definitely go again.
Throughly delightful experience.
Front of house was amazing.
Outstanding food, service and ambience. A really lovely evening out and looking forward to my next visit.
Fab food in a convivial setting
Great service and good value
Really impressed with Harry’s.
Very nice restaurant, service and ambience were great. I was all set to have the spinach and ricotta cannelloni but was told it was a new menu. Could definitely do with more vegetarian options . My husband ordered 2 half lobsters as there was no whole lobster on the menu .Nevertheless he thoroughly enjoyed it.
We really enjoyed our meal at Harry’s. It’s not cheap, but there’s a lovely menu, generous portions, fabulous food and very attentive staff. A great atmosphere in an historic setting. Well worth a visit for a special occasion or after work treat! Never fails to impress!
The food was excellent and the service was great.
Such a nice place, the food and service were excellent. Probably the best restaurant in Exeter!
Another fab night at Harry's, excellent steak..(again)....brilliant atmosphere and all round good way to spend a Saturday night.
The food is amazing and the servers are very nice too! Would defo recommend
Very good breakfast it is a fairly narrow choice , fresh juices would be a nice addition.
Great place to eat, food excellent, staff attentive - great service. Decor cool what more can I say definitely book there again. Thank you Harry's we had a wonderful meal. Fantastic.
Great food, great environment, great team. Well done to Harrys for maintaining their high standards.
Harry’s has changed. No longer the student go to place, much too expensive.
We were very surprised at the menu, no more Mexican dishes which were the trademark of Harry’s for years.
Lovely restaurant with a great menu with loads of local treats, will definitely return
Been several times and always first class. In my opinion best place to eat in Exeter
Menu is limited for a fussy eater! Good portion sizes but more chips than anything else (I had a burger!). The waiting staff were running around everywhere super busy but the restaurant itself didn’t look too busy. The drinks menu was limited for soft drinks but the overall feel of the venue was nice.
The Seabass was very good, the potatoes and beans were far too greasy (oil covered} for my taste. It was noisy and more tightly packed than I had expected. The service was very good those waiting were very courteous and efficient.
Lovely food and great atmosphere, will definitely go back!
Excellent food and excellent service. Warm welcome and all staff very helpful
Such a lovely place for dinner, would go back again 😀
Perfect in every way - 5* food, service and decor.
Good welcome, attentive service, food arrived in reasonable time, good atmosphere, food excellent
Great gastropub just off the High Street in Exeter behind John Lewis with an ample parking 100 yards away. Most wonderful tomahawk steak we have ever eaten. Brilliant and quick service with a very attentive waiter. Nice larger from Crediton brewery. Great ambiance that feels more like a trendy restaurant rather than a pub. We will be back.
Lovely atmosphere. Stunning food. Quality service. Cannot fault.
Very enjoyable lunch, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary everything was perfect
You can always rely on Harry’s for a tasty lunch.
Great staff, very friendly. Lovely ambiance. First time of visiting and will definitely come back
Having no idea where to eat I just googled top ten places for lunch, and Harry’s came up. I liked the look of the photos of the restaurant and the menu..
All staff wore face shields. We booked as didn’t know how busy it might get.
We ordered a selection of nibbles and these were delicious as were Harry’s special burgers! Beautifully cooked and presented. Home made coleslaw was delicious.
We had one pud between us, tiramisu, again really lovely. Coffee to follow.
A super meal and venue and would certainly go again 😀
Had breakfast at Harry's on a Saturday morning. Great staff, good service and very good food. Full English breakfast is a good sized portion! Waffles with berries was superb! Restsurant nicely done inside. Would definitely recommend! Hope to be able to visit again soon
Great food, lovely atmosphere and very pleasant staff.Quick service and relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely make a visit again.
Lovely meal and atmosphere.
Expensive starters and deserts. Very nice though.
We were recommended to go here. Not disappointed. Delicious food The starter menu was so good that we wanted 4 starters for 2 . Thus 2 x starter course and 2 for the main. All came in the right order and beautifully served. We will definitely have to go back and try the rest of the menu. We chose the house wine (Sicilian white) which was recommended but not actually the best we have had as "house choice". Nonetheless we would recommend Harry's to others and will definitely go back. The young staff waiting on were charming, efficient and made the whole experience welcoming without being in the least intrusive. I noticed that our main waitress was assiduously checking all tables discreetly and leaving nothing to chance. She was very professional and charming. This was altogether a very enjoyable experience.
