Visit Harvest for a long lunch on the cool verandah, sample the bespoke weekly changing Wild Harvest menu at night (which is created after a day foraging in the Hinterland) or enjoy a traditional country breakfast at the weekend.
Harvest has received multiple accolades over the years including a hat in the Good Food Guide 2019 and Best Small List (50 Wines) by Gourmet Traveller Wine 2018.
The most amazing meal at harvest. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was stunning and the grounds on which harvest is based, really adds to the authenticity of the place.
Visiting our daughter in Byron. Wonderful meal and setting on an abbreviated visit due to the pandemic. Open air ... lots of social distance:).
Everything was fabulous!
The oysters with kelp oil were on point.
Amazing little cafe with great food, a popular bakery and deli next door. Great choices for any occasion. We were able to receive prompt service, good food, great coffee and enjoy a lovely breakfast
Third time visiting, and it is always a pleasure to return to Harvest
Just a fantastic meal!
Great service. Good variety of meal choices for breakfast. Both are meals were delicious
If the staff maketh the mood, then Harvest is rich in mood and in style. From the welcome to the table service and everything in between, just effortless. Love.
Great atmosphere, beautiful fresh food with unique flavours and gorgeous wines .
Relaxing ambience with the wonderful smell of the wood fired bakery wafting on a cool breeze . The service was low key , efficient , informative and friendly . The food and drink menu was interesting and delicious .
We had the degustation menu. It was a great experience overall. Creative and amazing food, and friendly service! Went back for lunch 2 days later to try it out and it was great as well. Highly recommend.
Amazing every single time
The most beautiful foraged food, paired with excellent flavours.
Sublime.. warm welcome, friendly staff.. for main course we shared a succulent local Bexhill Dorper slow cooked lamb shoulder with lovely roasted cauliflower, mountain pepper and roasted sesame and sunflower seeds.. they have an extensive wine list to cater for all palettes, try the S.C. Pannell Barbera, goes lovely with lamb.. for deserts we had Creamy Rice Pudding with prunes and mutrines. All locally sourced produce and bush foods.. not to be missed
Great ambiance and service, lovely bakery and deli
The food was amazing and I love the concept! The drinks on arrival while we waited for our table was a nice touch.
The mosquitoes are killer, so be sure to spray yourself before you get there. Also, we asked for our bill at the end of the dinner and the waitress said sure, but waited for 20 minutes and had to remind the waitress we had asked for it. Some communication that we could have also just gone to the front reception to pay would have been great to not waste our time. Overall, though, would highly recommend!
Staff were super attentive, food was exceptional. Even had a gorgeous mocktail (which can be very challenging to find) This place came recommended to me by so many people and I was not disappointed.
Amazing spot for lunch. The food was incredible and the staff were so lovely.
Great food, great wine list. I hope they do not try and turn tables over by delivering food too fast. The beauty of harvest is the languid long lunch. Don't spoil that atmosphere and environment and pacing - especially on a Sunday - by delivering food before drinks for instance.
Always a lovely experience , a home from home. Well done Harvest and keep pushing the indigenous ingredients and wonderful flavours !
The atmosphere was bubbly and loud, I should have asked for a table by the edge of the veranda as this impacted the enjoyment of my meal. I ordered the pork dish, which I was told had been aged to tenderise and also cooked in a water of sorts to tenderise. I found it under cooked, and the salad greens were nice but the salad was not amazing. The chat potatoes were of but the sauce was delicious. The kanagroo was served basically blue. I waited a long time for my second lot of drinks despite there being three wait staff attending to a new table set up, and the drink i ordered was incorrect as well, and so after waiting a long time I had to send it back and wait an extra long time as they took ages to finally bring me the correct version of my beverage.
Fantastic creative food, well priced, good wine list, lovely service. We’ll be back soon!
The freshest tastiest oysters I’ve had in a long long time. Each course of the set menu was full of wonderful flavour combinations. No course disappointed. The cocktail & the wine complimented the meal. Even my coffee ( which is often a disappointment ) was very satisfying.
All in all a delightful untrusted experience that set off a perfect Valentines Day. Thank you.
Awesome food and atmosphere.
Farm to table food so super fresh and yummy
One of our favourites in the region. Food is always amazing. Such a great dining experience.
A must do if you love food and want to enjoy an experience that promotes a sustainable ethos
It would be great to get more diabetic friendly options. Almost everything comes with bread, I know they are a bakery. Other than that it was excellent.
Well worth a visit, food was fantastic and the staff couldn't have been more attentive.
Out standing service but the food was average. Pleasant enough but nothing outstanding for the price.
Beautiful view, amazing food and outstanding, friendly service. Thanks for the experience, xx
Wonderful as always. Friday offer was not available anymore due to being out of oysters so maybe make it early.
Everything was superb. From initial greeting, table, ambience, background music, service, value for money and the food was some of the best we have eaten. Delicious, beautifully presented, perfect portions. The wind was excellent and value for money. This experience would cost considerably more in Sydney
Beautiful free flowing layout with grand open windows allowing for fresh airflow. The food was spectacular, amazing flavours and serving size.
Service was exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable.
Delicious fresh food, though portions were a little small for my liking.
Loved it loved it loved it. Too bad I live 10 hours drive away.
Our first and only visit to Harvest unfortunately. We had heard such good things but were sadly disappointed. The service was terrible, disinterested and inattentive - it was almost as if they felt we were an inconvenience to their day. For the price of the meal ($200 without alcohol) I would have expected a lot more. Beautiful restaurant sadly let down by their staff
We arrived for Breakfast at 8am. The restaurant was lovely and quiet, and the food, drinks and service were exceptional. We love going to Harvest for breakfast, lunch and dinner and recommend it to many of our friends and family but selfishly don't want too many people to hear about it either ;-)
We had a brilliant lunch enjoying the local produce with the Australian twist sitting on the deck enjoying the light breeze. The customer service was great and the choice of food and beverage excellent. We celebrated our 33 year wedding anniversary in a very enjoyable and memorable way. Thank you Harvest.
I had a beautiful lunch with my Mum 24/1. I wish I could remember the females name that served us, but unfortunately I can't. I also recognised her from Footbridge in Brunswick, before she worked at Harvest.
She brought a real warmth to the restaurant. Our lunch was made because of her warmth, her conversation and her attentiveness.
We absolutely loved our lunch and we will be coming more often! Thank you, Rikki
The staff were exceptional with so much knowledge of food & beverages, we were very impressed.
The service was very attentive and the food was lovely and fresh but not super special. Flavours were fairly simple and not particularly creative but we enjoyed the atmosphere.
