Harvester - Poole
Very over priced for a harvester, thought they were supposed to be a value for money chain. 3 course menu was a good price, not a great choice but that's to be expected. Salad bar isn't as good as it used to be & did feel rushed between salad, starter & main.
Had booked through Open Table, when we got there they had no record of the booking, so wasn't impressed. Luckily there were tables free. Won't be using them again
Arrived at 7.30 for 8 there was no record of our booking, but there was a free table. Food was ok but steaks not as good as usual..
Food and service were great but I booked on line and when we got there they had not received my booking luckily there was a table
My fish was terrible, just a mush really. I was really disappointed.
This was the worst dining experience of my life. Staff were rude and I had to wait 20 minutes to be spoken to when I arrived at the front desk. The team would then not honour my booking as it was through Open Table and they have said the DO NOT partner with Open table and therefore will NOT Take bookings via there, they also do not take bookings from people who walk in, they will only take bookings through the harvester website. The team and the manager then openly complained about me personally in front of other staff members and customers, I overheard and they became very deffensive when questioned about this unprofessionalism. We quickly left the restaurant
We had the salad bar to start - fab choice as always , followed by steak which was very good and flavoursome. Can be noisy with music quite load near speakers. Good service from friendly staff.
