Delaney is the best.
The menu doesn't list out what's included in the dishes. My boyfriend is allergic to tomatoes and doesn't like avocados, both of which were unexpected ingredients in the asian chicken salad he ordered and picked through.
The food was delicious! The servers were great and very informative. I definitely need to go back soon.
Great sushi restaurant
Very slow service overall. It took over an hour to get the food. Extremely loud.
The staff were a little rushed and a bit disorganized. They forgot to check me in for Open Table resulting in that email inquiry of a no show. Food is great but probably better to sit outside if you want the volume to be less than loud.
Great happy hour menu. Some dishes like the karaage were amazing. Some waiter recommendations like brussel sprouts was so-so. A different kind of restaurant from the usual American style. Very pleasant experience. Don't know if I would come if not for Happy Hour.
My friend is not very adventurous food-wise, so HATCH was way outside his comfort zone. The waiter’s recommendations were spot on. Everything, food and drinks were fantastic. We can’t wait to go back.
Hi, I did indeed make my reservation and dined here.
It was pretty loud. Interior design was interesting. Food was on the sweeter side which I didn’t exactly enjoy. The herb lamb was great though.
The food was fine, but nothing to write home about. We went with a group and shared a fair number of dishes and very little stood out. The chicken meatball skewers were likely the best skewer available. Didn't leave very full despite a decent check.
..................over priced.......................................................Over Priced
Took a group in for lunch which was the way to do it. We were able to order quite a bit and share. The highlights were the skirt steak, snapper, hamachi, black chicken, spare ribs, and pork belly.
This place is delicious! We way over-ordered but it was fun to try a lot of things. The pork ribs are SENSATIONAL. The pork belly skewer is a must try. The corn tempura and agedashi tofu were outstanding.
Don't be turned off by the fact that it's in a weird mall.
We'll be back!
Food was all delicious and atmosphere was great. Little expensive but we had great time.
HATCH was absolutely incredible. The food was mouth watering. Fair prices and good portion sizes. This place is a hidden gem. DO NOT MISS. 12/10 will return.
The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our glasses were always full before we could ask and the next course was ready at the perfect moment.
Ask for Andre, he will take care of you and make the experience memorable.
We tried their DineLA menu, it was amazing! It was a great introduction to their standard menu, and it was quite a lot of food. You can taste that they put a lot of heart into their food. Customer service was great as well! Highly recommended!!
Food is pretty good, service was very attentive, a great bang for your buck
Most food were over grilled and burnt.
highly recommend. Amazing food, service and overall experience and beautiful scene. Everything on the menu is to die for.
Taste is about average more for the look. Very pricey!
Food is delicious (must have the black chicken), service is excellent, and a great bar. A bit of a hidden gem. Have been multiple times and it is always good!
Great food and service. My boyfriend & I had a great time
Our server was trying to be on top of things but he kept interrupting our conversations the entire night. After a while, our eaten dishes were stacking up and he didn’t bother to pick them up. We could use some clean plates half way through dinner and once again, our server did not seem to notice.
All in all, service was lacking and the food was mediocre!
They were out of halfback it the menu. Wait staff was all over the place. Hopefully it will get better
I love coming here. Not just standard options, more inventive fare.
Skewers are super well done and service is on point. Great energy in the space. Love it.
We are from Montana and have enjoyed Yakitori all over the world. Hatch is the tops in food quality and innovative menus. The flavor is perfect with the correct amount of spice. The only thing the exceeds the food is the wait staff, helpful and you never have have an empty glass or plate. We first ate at Hatch right after he opened and now it is packed. If you do not eat at Hatch then you are missing a life time experience. Our only disappointment was it was the owners night off
Great food and drinks, but it’s a chain in a strip mall.
Very innovative menu that was delicious. Suggest you sit at counter and enjoy the show.
As lovely as the ambience and the service was. The food was not v good the skewers were over cooked and the brownie was awful. I love yakiniku and was so excited about a new spot to open but the food was not good as all. The raw food was good.
It’s pretty loud in the restaurant mostly bc of the design of the room. The food was good but slightly overpriced. If you sit at the counter you don’t really get to see the grill action as it’s more on the side in the kitchen.
Chicken was dry and pretty awful. Oysters were the best dish.
Great food, great atmosphere, great time.
The food was fantastic, the service was terrific, it was my first time to eat there.
I will come back often!
Good for quick bite before show or wven at Staples while exploring the new plaza. The restaurant is too dark and you cannot see what you are eating. They try to be creative with their menu, but I have had better yakitori elsewhere with wider variety.
Food was good! The chicken meatball stick was one of my favs. I'll definitely be back. The staff were all quite nice. Only thing is it's a bit dark in the back half of the restaurant.
Sleek design and good lightning. Friendly service, but music was way too loud, thus ruined the dining experience. Nothing is worse than having to repeat yourself over and over along with your date having to do the same.
This is a restaurant concept--not a club.
Valentines dinner. I was disappointed because I called the day before and they said we could order off of the regular menu instead of the set menu, but when I got there they said we had to have the set menu which was $120 for two people. It was a fantastic meal though, I was happy. They gave roses out to all of the women during the meal. It was very cute and the atmosphere was perfectly romantic.
So damn good.
Take the gin, on a rock.
Order all of it.
Blown away at how good it was.
And try their house sake
And order the oysters.
And the avocado toast
And the chicken with green onion
And the chicken plate.
It was all exceptional.
