Very safe atmosphere inside and very spaced apart. Drinks were served quickly and the staff was extremely respectful.

Not doing enough to enforce the Covid dining rules. They have customers walking all over the restaurant without masks on. Also, the bartender/waiter was rude and ignored us for most of our visit. It was if he was mad all night. Very, very disappointed.

The drinks can be a little strong at times, but the food is definitely worth it -- there is something for everybody!

It was nice. The lady that served us was very nice and got our orders right (always a plus). Loved the mumbo wings and pimento cheese spread w pita. Great happy hour.

Great venue! And food, seating is very limited obviously with the pandemic

Outdoor dining was Once but even with table warmers is not ideal in colder weather..

Hawk n Dove is my new chill spot. Enjoy Sunday brunch. Shout out to the cooks because everything was tasty.

It was a great place to meet up and catch up with a friend over some good food.

This restaurant is fabulous. I had brunch and the food literally was cooked so much to perfection that I had to meet the Chef himself. His name is Brian. The staff was also friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for dining. I will be back with friends.

This was my second visit and the food and service was ok.

The food was horrible. My boyfriend got the Ruben sandwich. The meat tasted hold and the bread was so soggy. I got the kale and sweet potato salad. It was just okay. Nothing special. Would not go back.

The bread on the shrimp po boy was hard and not good at all.

Was expecting more. Limited menu. Food was average. Service average. Just a average place.

Food and service were excellent. Only negative was our visit was brunch on a February morning and the space was cold and never warmed up.

Was not crowded on a Saturday night 12/28. Cozy atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed their food (burger, pizza and salmon). I would have rated higher but my burger came out very pink even though I said medium well. I should have sent back so it’s on me. Everyone else enjoyed theirs and it was a nice casual cozy spot.

Very good food. Extremely loud from the bar and live music.

I’m from out of out of town and had dinner with my kids. Noise level was a little higher than what we would have preferred, but the food was good.

Wait staff was absolutely fantastic and very flexible. We arrived earlier than our reservation time and they sat us without delay. We changed our minds on drinks and menu items several times and they were really patient. Food was tasty and arrived quickly. Great experience before going on to the theater.

my omlette was over cooked and it was difficult in general to get the server's attention. also they charged full price for a virgin bloody mary?

Pub atmosphere with sports screens. Quick and friendly seating. Attentive service. Delicious turkey burger and decent cobb salad. Very casual.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. We both had the veal meatloaf which was excellent! Our server was attentive and our dinners came quickly. It was within walking distance from where we were staying. Nice variety on the menu. I would recommend.

Great food and drinks! My friend and I were happy with the menu options and we were both pleased with what we ordered. Would definitely recommend for a casual meal.

We had a large party. Half of our meals were good (burgers and ribs) - the other half had mediocre meals (chicken parmesan and shrimp pasta). The shrimp pasta was waaay over-salted which made it difficult to eat. And the chicken parm left a lot to be desired. However, the atmosphere was nice and the service was good. But would not return here. Much better restaurants in DC.

Food was very lackluster.

We were seated next to a party of 16... including 8 little kids who had free rein.

My husband and I couldn’t recall our last experience at Hawk n Dove, and after today I’m pretty sure we blocked it out for a reason. We had a 40 minute wait just to get nachos and pancakes, though the server did refill our sodas promptly. The pancakes were anything but fluffy, the nachos were super greasy and the side order of bacon was undercooked. I have fond memories of the place from its glory days, but those remembrances aren’t going to make up for this horrendous experience.

Good vibe and good food

My friend and I were very well served by a lovely young waitress named Ria. After a very good calamari appetizer, she had the crab cake sandwich and enjoyed it very much, and I had the delicious fried chicken sandwich. We appreciated the local ales on tap and we both ordered the strong Corruption IPA from DC Brau. Overall, we were very pleased.

Nice place on the Hill. Good food. But it's VERY loud.

Hawk 'n'Dove is a great place for a casual get together. Looks as though it has recently had a makeover. The food is good and they have a good selection of beers. Staff attentive and courteous. Convenient access to the Metro and easy walking distance to the Capitol and other sites.

Great food for a great price.

Food and service were very good. Highly recommend for lunch meetings.
