We are big Hawkesmoor fans and try and go whenever we possible. Beautiful food as always. Staff were lovely.

Ridiculously superior to any competition. I’m tired of saying again and again that it is the best steak in the world (but it still is). We had the Sunday roast and it was, again, perfect (and very generous indeed). So I am going to focus on three aspects: - first time with my kids. Yes, it is also child-friendly - predictability: I order usually the same things again and again and they always come the same, which is a rare quality (no pun intended) - the waiting staff are uniformly happy to be there, competent and unobtrusive. Thumbs up, it is perfect. (Guga says he doesn’t do steakhouses, except Hawksmoor).

It was super crowded and noisy when we went on a Friday night! Regrettably, we did not enjoy the food as much as we had at the outlet we tried in Knightsbridge a year ago.

The food was lovely, the English green side was underwhelming, as it was cabbage which felt like it needed to be cooked longer. Service was odd. Given the type of restaurant it is, and the money paid, you'd expect one member of staff to serve you throughout, but we had three. On top of that, there were awkward moments, as one member of staff asked if we wanted the bill out of confusion whilst we were eating our meal. Seeing as this was stop number two of the date night my partner and I were on, it was disappointing.

The great team at the bar started our evening in style with some of the sacred six cocktails Oysters were available and fabulous, the starters weee great the steaks large and cooked to perfection and we managed to squeeze a sticky toffee pud in at the end. Lovely service throughout the visit

Really good value lunch menu and a beautiful setting. It was my first time having steak - 1 mark lost as I ordered medium but received rare, it was lovely and glad I had the experience

Great meats and sides as always. Areas to improve: Service slow in general drink forgotten by waitress and ask to bring wine sumalia took 20 mins (it was never passed on as we had to ask another waiter) Med rare steak cooked medium
